The driver was apologetic about the state of the parcel which had clearly been mishandled at some point. There was a significant amount of the contents exposed, it was fortunate nothing had fallen out or on closer inspection damaged. The driver photographed the package and I sent a picture to the company sending it out. The contents were radios, chargers, batteries and earpieces.

Received the Scribe 38 rim brake wheels for a build. Noticed that rear wheel not quite true. Scribe offered to fund the wheel to be trued. LBS looked, tried to true and said wheel tensions very tight so not possible to fix unless wheel rebuild. Not much out and have been using it. Good fast wheels which pleased with overall despite not being perfecto.

It's great to hear you like the wheels Richard. Richard, we carry out 100% QC check and I'm surprised the wheel arrived out of true - I am sorry about that. We actually destress twice to make sure that even after riding for a while, the wheels remain very true after loading. The tension we use for the wheels are ~115kgf which is standard for most wheel tensions and your bike mechanic should be able to tailor this to your weight if you wanted to amend the tension(s). If the wheel is only slightly out of true, your LBS should be able to true this up no problem as it would be the final staging of truing (as in the wheelset is up to tension), so again, I am surprised a rebuild was suggested. *If a wheelset is a lot out of true, all the mechanic has to do is de-tension the spokes and re-tension so a full build shouldn't be required.
