Messed up transfer/deleted number/woeful customer services
I was happy with Smarty until they messed up a number transfer and I had to try and engage with customer service / tech teams. No voice contact, so all done on web chat/email.
They transferred a new number onto the wrong number on my account, deleting my existing telephone number which i've been using for 16 years. Then told me this was unrecoverable (a lie). They corrected that and spent a week getting that number back. Then said it was back on account (another lie). Im now another week in and apparently there is a problem with their system which means they cant reinstate any of the numbers they have deleted (many people affected), but they working on a fix. In the mean time - I don't have my number. Oh, and they also seem to have changed my account info, so I can't even complete my verification to speak to their support team. Their customer service won't tell me anything other than they appreciate my patience and they'll let me know when its fixed.
Every thing was fine with one number, I really regret trying to go to family/group account. PS. I very rarely bad reviews, but in Smarty's case I been motivated to make an exception.
