Top store for affordable, good quality and variety of products

I started using Hobbycraft Salisbury in February and have bought a huge amount of products from there and via click and collect, visiting the store at least twice a week. Each time I have been greeted by happy and friendly staff, offering help and advice when needed - and helped to the car with large boxes of goodies! Highly recommend their products for quality at really good and affordable prices, highly recommend this store for the lovely staff - including Vicky, Holly, Josh, Rachel

Exceptional service in exceptional times

I ordered oil on 3/3/26 with a delivery date of 12/3 at 70p per litre. Hearing companies were refunding customers and then charging higher prices I was concerned when my delivery date was changed to a blank - however, next day the delivery date was showing as 14/3 and my order was delivered, at the original price and I received an email to update all customers on the situation. I am absolutely bowled over by the amazing service provided by Western Fuel at these times and in these circumstances. Thank you so much for keeping me in heating and cooking.

Great way to save for that special occasion

Live chat to discuss use of voucher - fast and easy

Was on live chat with Sunil, query regarding using a voucher from cancelling and rebooking a parking space. Wondered where the difference was as the new price was over £11 cheaper. Sunil explained the difference was in voucher form rather than refund - I then found where the vouchers are kept in my account. Quick and easy transaction.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service from start to finish. Was able to speak to a human (Simon) rather than try and arrange online. Windscreen was available next morning (non urgent replacement). Really pleasant, courteous and friendly Djibril came to replace my windscreen. I would highly recommend their service and would definitely use again. Thank you.

Top eye surgeon - top results - what more could you wish for?

With a prescription of -8.75 and complete frustration with opticians who could never give me acceptable near and far vision, I consulted Mr Anderson. He exudes professional knowledge and ability, together with friendly and approachable calmness and humour. I had the choice of waiting until my cataracts became really bad and go with the NHS, or have my vision dramatically improved and cataracts permanently removed by a top eye surgeon. I opted for complete sedation, due to feeling very anxious. One minute we were laughing, the next, I was being told I was back in my room. Every day after the operation my sight grew clearer and sharper, each time being a surprise that there was more definition. I had bought loads of painkillers in preparation. I took none. I had two follow up appointments to check all was well and am so grateful for those, for reassurance and to be able to thank Mr Anderson for this freedom from lenses and thick glasses. I do not need glasses for any purpose. His team - Olivia and Kim to mention two, are amazing, so helpful, reassuring and always ready to listen.

Cat design 2l hot water bottle - excellent service

Ordered a cat design 2l hot water bottle, for a Christmas present. Main reason for ordering from Marco Paul is they are a small UK business and I believe in supporting such companies. Tracking service, email updates and received within 3 days (which included the weekend). The cover is soft, the design true to photo and very pleased the top of the bottle is well covered by a long flap. Highly recommend this product and this company. Thank you.

Excellent comms, excellent service. Phone was answered quickly by really helpful and friendly customer service representative. Competitive price and so important was the up to date availability of oil which was delivered a day before due date. Very grateful.

All important excellent and friendly customer service

I have been let down by Homefuels Certas - no oil on delivery date of 13/9 and by 27/9 still not received - no human customer service, only online messages, with generic reply each time. I rang Boiler Juice to explain the situation -tank almost empty, so has been turned off - no oil therefore no heating and no cooking. Phone was answered almost immediately by a very pleasant Rhys. The call was friendly, helpful and reassuring in that I now understand Boiler Juice look to different suppliers to provide oil to their customers. If the selected supplier is not able to fulfill the order, Boiler Juice switch to another, to guarantee the customer will receive their order. There are, currently, 5 suppliers in my area with good oil supply and assured delivery - Certas are not in that 5. With my order from Boiler Juice I have paid more than the £600 (non) delivery from Homefuels would have been, but still less than Certas online. Paying £662 for £1000 litres. (opted to pay £5 extra to order over the phone) Having been a customer of Certas for over 20 years I am extremely disappointed, dissatisfied and will not use them again - instead, will opt for friendly customer service, human interaction and guaranteed delivery with Boiler Juice. Thank you Rhys, you are a credit to your company.

Delivery now 14 days overdue

Following my previous review, oil ordered 6/9 supposed to be delivered 13/9. Now 27/9 still no delivery - latest generic reply from Homefuels is exactly as I received on 20/9 to say they have had issues their end and cannot say when they will deliver. I could order from another company, but delivery will not be until week 8/10. Oil tank is almost empty, therefore turned off. No heating, no cooking. Courteous call from Certas but all they could do was apologise and offer a phone call the night before the order will be delivered. Not sure whether to cancel and order from the other company - a wait of a minimum of 11 days - or hope Homefuels will turn up sooner.
I HAVE NOW ORDERED FROM BOILER JUICE WITH GUARANTEED DELIVERY on or before 4/10

20th September, still no oil despite delivery date 13th

Having received a delivery date of 13th September, it is now 20th September. No oil. I questioned the delay, by message, no ability to speak to someone, and I had a response saying they had a few setbacks for deliveries in my area and could not give a delivery date. I would have appreciated knowing this at the time of ordering or even on the expected delivery date. Having ordered on 6th September, I was hoping/expecting to have a delivery before the tank got too low. I will give another review when the oil is received.

Rapid Assembly it was!

Bought Sahara Rapid Assembly Plus Gas BBQ from Dobbies, reduced from £169 to £135. Pretty rapid assembly, my own 'skills' slowed the process - wheels put on diagonal legs rather than two on one side !!!! .. This looks good and works really well, easy to move into shed for storage. Very pleased and would highly recommend.
