Buyer beware!
My first box was ok....not stellar in with the produce, but everything was cold. The second box I got, I ended up having to get American Express involved because the chats and call I made ended up being ignored. My box was out for delivery on a very hot day and ended up being a *delivery exceptions*. When food is being delivered, there really can be no exception....it was showing at 10 PM at night that it was out for delivery. I chatted with someone at EveryPlate several times and she kept telling me that it was out for delivery.....I told her not at 10 PM at night! It was finally delivered the next day, which was just as hot as the day before at around 4:30 because I was coming in the door as my husband was signing for the package. I called the company immediately after doing a temperature of the box which was in the danger range. The agent I spoke with was willing to give me a credit for another box, but wanted to charge me the postage for the box I got and then the next box.....she ended up rather rude. At that point, I told her I would take it up with American Express. They did get me a refund. I threw everything out because I'd rather not risk a food borne illness. I'd say definitely beware of this company. I notice that they remove feedback on their Facebook page, so it is very hard to tell how many people have really been unhappy. They need to be responsible about what they are doing when it comes to packing and shipping. I have ordered from all the major food subscriptions boxes and this one is not one I would every repeat.
