I joined 6 months ago, the first one did not confirm I had joined so I did it again (online form). Two sim cards arrived, so i contacted them straight away informing them i had opened 2 accounts and only needed 1. They informed me they would cancel 1 account. The following month through my bank account I saw i had been charged for 2 accounts. Cut a long story short it has taken 6 months and many, many phone calls to cancel this second account.
The average waiting time to get through to PlusNet is anything between 15-45 minutes, then you have to give more details than you do if you are contacting your bank. I even tried emailing but as I had forgotten my password they would not reply through email. Shocking!! Its a £7.50 sim card account not a bank account for thousands of pounds!!!!!! Even the managers are no good. I insisted on three occasions to speak to one and after much deliberation I got to speak to one, whom promised me the second account would be closed... and it wasn't. The best about it is the compensation after spending many hours trying to get through on many occasions and being over charged for 6 months the offer was a free months line rental £7.50......... what an insult....
I have had no problems with the connection hence 2 stars.....

With any successful order and subsequent account, we offer a 14-day cooling period, in which you’re able to cancel if you wish to do so. I appreciate your frustration and apologise if you were unable to do as such. However, without taking a look at your account I’d be unable go into specifics regarding the cancellation.

We take all security measures surrounding accounts seriously, safe guarding our customer’s sensitive information is a high priority. The same security process is applied to all communicative platforms, when discussing account particulars.

I’m sorry if you were not satisfied with the compensation you received, all compensation given is calculated in line with an account’s months line rental.
