I used to rate DPD as the best delivery company but regret my recent experience has completely changed my view. Ideally I would not purchase anything that relied on a DPD delivery.
First day, van arrives within the delivery window advised in thier app, I go to the door and can see the van and hear that the driver rummaging in the rear of the van. I stand and wait patiently, the at open door, the van door closes and then the van is gone! To add insult I then get a message that they couldn’t deliver because I wasn’t in….. (untrue)
I ring their support team who contact the depot (Swindon) and I get a call back from the support desk to say the driver has been instructed to return the same day. You guessed it the driver was not seen again.
The following morning I spoke to the helpdesk again at 8:00 and expressed my displeasure and sought confirmation that it would definitely be delivered later that day, which they confirmed.
The app provided the delivery window, and their map showed exactly where my house was. However, toward the end of the delivery window I received a message to say that the driver couldn’t find my house (there are 10 houses in my post code and the DPD app had pinpointed my property)!
Spoke to helpdesk again, should really be called the “I can’t help you desk”. Needless to say they were no help, so we never got the delivery (after staying in and ready to take delivery for two whole days), they allegedly tried to deliver on the third day, unable to do so they returned the parcel to the sender…..Will they be able to find them… I have my doubts

The whole experience is at another level as is the stock they hold.
I’ve purchased with them in store previously, but this time couldn’t get there so ordered online. I ordered gloves which arrived within 48 hours …..can’t complain at that.
But before I ordered I did my research, using their video’s & write ups to make sure my choice of glove would be the most appropriate for me.
Unfortunately, the size turned out to be a little too snug, but not a problem I can take them back (will this time go to the “shop” to try on different gloves) and leave with the perfect glove for me

A frustrating organisation to deal with, individuals do try to help, but there are clearly not enough people in the technical department to deal with the volume of problems!
After more than a week waiting for a call back from the technical department, which of course never happened, I’m now hanging so far for 35 minutes….just for the technical department to accept the call from their colleague.
Currently I can see my car on my drive, but according to tracker it’s some 5 miles away…..as it has been for about over four weeks and still no response
Appalling service or lack of!
Update… finally got back to me by phone and was advised that the system hasn’t been working for nearly a month (despite being told last week it was working and it was an app problem), so booked in for checking / resolution 🤞

Brilliant service, great products, great prices.
I visited the shop intending to purchase some new heated gear, specifically the Warm & Safe Base Layer and glove liners, wanting to try sizing. I also wanted some new outer gloves
Chris asked a couple of questions, and the I tried on the base layer and tested the heating. It was good…but Chris suggested I tried the jacket liner…. whow what a step up, what great advice
Then Chris helped me select the gloves that would work best with the heated liners…. again various gloves of various prices were suggested, from which I chose the one for me.
So in summary just brilliant service and advice

Our system went down, circa 24 hours later we had an Engineer on site (Mitchell) to get us back online. In the interim the system had mysteriously returned… However, Mitchell undertook a number of checks and advised that there was an issue with the optical connection (was ok but not great). He then investigated and tracked the problem to the connector in the box outside our gate. No fuss he just removed the connector, and fused the cables, then checked everything was good, before asking if I was happy, as he wouldn’t leave until I was (I was happy!).
So on this experience; quick service, knowledgeable and personable engineer, overall I couldn’t ask for more.

We placed an order, the team were very helpful and everything seemed perfect…. But far from being perfect our experience subsequently has been dreadful. The pre installation site visit was undertaken a couple of weeks prior to the due installation, and identified a fault on the gigaclear system which needed repairing before our installation could take place. We only found this out when we contacted Gigaclear to find out why the engineer hadn’t turned up to undertake the installation.
Subsequently, so far nearly five weeks on, it been a case of chasing to find our what is happening using the “chat” service, as telephone calls are not answered. Each person or bot was pleasant and seemed to be trying to help, but continually promised call backs, updates or progression of the installation failed to materialise. When you attempt to escalate no one takes responsibility and instead seek to have meetings to discuss who might bother to contact you…..and of course no one does.
Allegedly whilst the work has now been done, they can’t book the installation,
Are they any worse than other companies, possibly not but they are a very frustrating organisation to deal with, and if I had a choice of fast internet from an alternative supplier, I would have probably given up.
Hopefully, at some time in the future I may get the service delivered, which neighbours say is good, although I might have aged somewhat in the meantime.

I now have a new appointment for my installation, and the link to pursue my complaint

Had a query before placing an order with Gigaclear, phoned them and was shocked (and delighted) at how quickly I was able to speak to them.
Luca took me through the process very quickly but covering everything I needed to know, explaining what happens once the order was placed and then set an installation date (again shocked and pleased at how quickly it would be , ie in less than four weeks).
So different to my current supplier.
Looking forward to having speeds, some thirty fives times faster…,
