My review only refers to Nikita Harper from Foxtons Letting Support Department, who called me today to help me resolve several issues with my logging in to my Foxtons Account. She was helpful, courteous, and followed up on our conversations. I have nothing good to say about the rest of the Foxtons team, including people at the Head Office, who were not only unhelpful, but kept on transferring my call to other people in the Foxton organisation, who were of course not at their seats, but "please leave a message and I will get back to you". I wasted well over an hour of my time today on the phone trying to get Foxtons support to resolve a problem they have created.

Wrong deals constantly offered

I already have a Broadband deal in place, offering me a Fibre connection with a speed of 120 Mbps, and you keep on sending me deals with half that speed, and more expensive to boot. Does nobody in your organisation look at what you offer?

Have been a Boots customer for over 20 years

Have been a Boots customer and Advantage card holder for over 20 years. However, I find that some staff in my local branch are really obnoxious, going out of their way to be difficult, when there is no need and when there is no provocation from the customer. This is very off-putting, and the desire to not go through with the purchase if that is the only serving member of staff is very strong

Unreliable Customer Service/Bad Marketing

I had rung through to try and renew my expiring annual multi-trip Oasis policy, but was told that there was no possibility of reducing the premium, when comparison sites were offering me a variety of lower-premium options with other providers. I then resolved to buy a policy from another provider, but on looking at the comparison website, found Oasis offering the same policy for almost a £100 less. What am I supposed to think about a company that employs such marketing tactics?

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we're sorry you felt the premium was unfair.

Oasis has different products depending on the channel with which a customer purchases from, which is why you would of seen a difference in premium in relation to the comparison website.

I note your first policy was purchased in 2022, renewed in 2023 to a higher level product via our direct website, however you have now purchased a different product via a comparison website which will explain the difference in premium as the products are not the same. Naturally Oasis will offer different pricing depending on the product and it's associated benefits.

We do have the ability to offer a renewal discount code for the same policy you'd have purchased in 2023, however do not have the ability to do the same on the product you've now purchased via the comparison website.

Used Go.Compare to find competing quotes for my car insurance. The lowest quote I received was over twice as high as the renewal quote from my present provider, who were also listed in Go. Compare's list of providers

After seven engineer visits and a delay…

After seven engineer visits and a delay of 13 months, the eighth engineer managed to correctly install the smart gas meter and get the in-house display working (although that took another 48 hours to activate). I am giving you 5 stars although you should have resolved this on the first visit back in 2021

Certainly the worst Energy supplier I have dealt with. They tell me that somehow (obviously through magic), my gas account was mysteriously transferred to British Gas, while they continued to charge me for the gas I did not consume from them. I only found out, because they finally installed the SMART Meters I had been asking them for, for the last 3 years, and the new gas meter did not work because of a MPRN mismatch. Not allowed to speak to a manager/supervisor because "no one available". Want to belatedly send me a "revised" bill for July/August to cover their incompetence. Will raise this matter with OFGEN

I was very impressed with Nadeem

Nadeem dealt with me. He was quick and efficient, immediately dealt with my issue, arranged matters with their sub-contractor. I was very impressed. Unfortunately, and nothing to do with Nadeem at all, I was number 20 on the waiting list, and had a long wait. I suggest Outfox put on more operators to cut down this unacceptable wait time

Price matching on renewals

Have not claimed against my policy, so have no experience there. In renewals, have found that Surewise is more expensive than the market, but have a sense of their standing, and will not match prices with all other competitors.

Unusual pricing mechanism

Have used Surewise to insure stored household effects. Fortunately, have not needed to call on my policy yet. Needed to extend my policy and found they have an unusual pricing mechanism. If you ask for a telephone or online quote, you get a price. If you use your policy expiry reminder to ask for an extension for the same dates, you get a different price. Strange!!!

Good website

Good website. Good prices, amongst the cheapest available. Good shipping facilities, although the minimum of £35 for free shipping must be costing Weldricks significant business. Would have thought that£20 - 25 would have been a better entry point.

We are continually discussing carriage costs with our delivery partners and trying to strike the correct balance between cost and quality of service.
To explain how we arrived at our current delivery price structure; we provide a delivery service with tracking included because we feel this is essential to give our customers peace of mind that their purchases can be monitored from point of despatch until delivery. In the case of medicines we also have a professional obligation from the GPhC to take firm steps to ensure medication reaches the intended recipient. We have never offered the cheaper, untracked delivery options for these reasons. We do subsidise our postage and packing to be competitive because we appreciate you have many choices of supplier and we regularly check our competitors, as a result of these checks our charges for carriage are less than the daily total cost charged to us.
While I have always had the support of our management in incurring this loss, I also have to take care that postage and packing does not lose us too much money as that would have an impact on our offering of low retail prices.
We are proud to be a UK based company and we fully pay UK taxes but that does mean we do not have the ability that some offshore based companies have of setting lower taxes against operating costs such as postage. I hope you have found my explanation helpful and appropriate but If you have any further queries I will be most happy to assist,
