You can only imagine that when setting-up a streaming service the board of such a company would have one goal - to make it such a success that another larger company would buy it. After installing Fawesome, I soon discovered that the board of said company must be populated by clinically insane imbeciles. Vast numbers of advert breaks lie strewn across the output like so many landmines across a battlefield. The imbeciles have decided in their infinite lack of sanity and wisdom to repeat the same adverts within each break. The breaks themselves appear without warning and in the middle of dialogue; chopping and hacking into scenes like a demented and crazed butcher dismembering the unfortunate animal that is interesting TV and film offerings on this Godforsaken service. I attempted, amongst other offerings, to watch an old, black & white BBC drama called ‘Quatermass and the Pit’. I didn’t get through the first episode as I gave-up after being visually assaulted by a tranche of repetitive, drawn-out adverts, ranging from toothpaste to dementia-related Cadbury’s, that killed the tension and excitement of said serial. I cannot understand how the owners of this streaming service ever hope to build customer numbers by alienating them in large numbers. An utterly irritating, useless and pointless streaming service. The only thing loveable about it is the moment you uninstall it.

I was very sceptical about Fussy, even though it had featured favourably on the BBC’s Dragons Den. I finally caved-in to my curiosity and gave Fussy a try. Wow! What an amazing product. I never smell at the end of the day, unlike when using my other antiperspirant. The company says you should give Fussy four to six weeks to work properly with your body, but it worked from day one with me! I kept taking my antiperspirant to work for the first couple of weeks, because I thought it was a fluke. That suspicion soon vanished when it became obvious that was not the case. The key to this product is the ingredient that eats the bacteria that causes BO. No nasties on your skin and that is very reassuring. The applicator is easy to use and the deodorant sticks are reasonable in price for me. I will not be going back to antiperspirants. Amazing product.

My husband and myself booked our holiday in-person with Debbie at Hays in Eastbourne. We were given the same level of service that we have come to expect from Hays. Debbie was so thorough and anticipated our questions, which only comes with years of experience. We really feel looked after and supported when booking our holidays as everything is taken care of. Debbie was fantastic, but we also want to give a shout-out to Lisa who really went out of her way with our initial enquiries. A wonderful service.

I purchased a HD Dapper belt from Handsome Dans via a Facebook advert. I was aware that there would be at least a ten day wait for the product to arrive and this was born-out. I was quite nervous about ordering a product from a company I had encountered on Facebook as they are often thinly-disguised overseas poor quality retailers, but my fears were allayed when I received my belt. It seems excellent quality in that it doesn’t feel cheap. The metal buckle is substantial, as is the belt itself. The little metal catch that must be operated to release the grip lock on the buckle is a little fiddly, but once you get the hang of it, you won’t have any problems. It is an extremely attractive belt and unusual too. I ordered the blue one, but will now order another colour after leaving a few weeks to see if the buckle mechanism performs well. I get the impression that you should treat the mechanism with gentleness as harsh handling might break it the grip lock catch. The postal service used is Royal Mail for delivery in the UK. I love the Royal Mail as I wasn’t in when the belt was delivered, so I collected it from my local sorting office. I hate courier companies with a passion you can only imagine, so I was very relieved when I found-out Royal Mail were the deliverer. Handsome Dans take note; don’t change from Royal Mail! The belt is possibly made overseas (I don’t know where) but it is not cheaply made; in my humble opinion it is a quality product. You can use the tracker system to track postage, but this doesn’t operate while the product is in transit outside the UK, so a little patience is required. If you are wanting a fast delivery then you’ll be disappointed. It didn’t bother me and I’m not marking down Handsome Dans for this. All-in-all, I’m really satisfied with my HD experience.

The two stars are for the simple fact that my large parcel was delivered when Hermes said it would be delivered, but nothing more. I am NOT belittling the courier in any way, personally, as I do not know him. However, he needs a lesson on how to follow instructions. I clearly stated that I wanted the parcel delivered into the alcove BELOW my front door, accessed via the front garden gate and some steps. Instead, the courier placed my large package in the front garden, which could have been taken by anyone. He also called this a ‘safe place’, which it most certainly is not! I also have footage from my Ring Doorbell camera, which shows your courier ‘seemingly’ contemplating the simple task of placing my package where he was supposed to and then changing his mind? He touches the gate, but doesn’t open it (it doesn’t lock). I cannot understand why people cannot follow simple instructions! It is not rocket science to do simple things. Hermes is not the only courier company where I’ve encountered this total lack of common sense. I have now had half-a-dozen bad experiences with courier companies and I shall now do my utmost to avoid home deliveries as much as possible.

I had placemats and coasters made by Snapfish; they were fantastic quality and delivered within the stated time. I wasn't, however, happy with the quality of the mouse mats. These were badly trimmed at the edges and were frayed. The image quality was also misleading, in my opinion. I filed a review of this product and I was not contacted by customer service, which proves they do not attend to negative reviews on their website. This is a failure in their business model. However, I will continue to order placemats and coasters as these products were excellent quality and the logistics service was excellent too. Mark Beeson, Eastbourne.

I cannot recommend Appliances Online enough. The service from start to finish was absolutely amazing. I ordered a tumble dryer very late on Good Friday afternoon, as our old one broke down the same day. For a very reasonable, extra £9.99p, they delivered the next day in the morning! The lines of communication were amazing. They sent me a confirmation of my order and delivery by email on Good Friday, followed closely by an e-receipt. The next day, they texted me to narrow the time slot from all day to between 9.00am and 1pm. Then their computer called our landline number and left a message about the delivery slot on our answer machine! Then the driver called my mobile within the hour of delivery, which was 9.00am to 10am! The driver assisted me in unpacking the dryer to check for any damage; there wasn't any. He and his co-worker were polite and efficient. I also think being able to see the products demonstrated in short videos on YouTube, is immensely helpful and increases confidence in buying online. The prices were very good. We bought a Beko tumble dryer for £200; an 8kg load capacity! Brilliant value, even with a £9.99p next day delivery charge and £9.99p to take our old dryer away. John Lewis took three weeks to deliver our new television and I'm pretty sure we would have got the same service from Currys etc. The whole experience of dealing with Appliances Online was smooth, efficient and satisfying. All companies should base their service on this model. My best friend recommended them to me and I'm glad I took his advice. It proves that if all companies made this kind of effort, we wouldn't have to put up with lack lustre, shoddy service elsewhere. My partner and I will be using this company again instead of the usual suspects. Order with confidence, everyone!
