I am extremely disappointed with how Ranktracker has handled its long-term supporters. I originally purchased a Lifetime Deal (LTD) with the understanding that I would have access to the features promised without recurring costs. Recently, the company effectively voided that agreement by forcing LTD holders to pay an annual "Support & Maintenance" fee just to keep their accounts active. Changing the terms of a "lifetime" contract after taking our money is unethical and a classic bait-and-switch.
What is even more concerning is the sudden influx of 5-star reviews on Trustpilot and other platforms. Many of these newer positive reviews feel remarkably fake—they are often generic, lack specific details about the tool's performance, or use overly "marketing-heavy" language. It’s hard to believe there is such a surge of "happy customers" exactly when thousands of original users are being locked out and calling the company a scam.
