Thank you for your review and for mentioning our change to glass bottles. We had to make the incredibly difficult decision to discontinue our pouches and switch over to glass bottles.

Even though the paper pouches we had before were plastic-free, and recyclable, they weren’t the gold standard in terms of ingredient stability and would often split open.

Then we experienced a further setback - The packaging manufacturer went into administration and we learned that these pouches made big losses for the company and contributed to their decline.

Following this we felt glass bottles were our best option. From our survey, we found that virtually all our customers recycle or reuse glass, making it the best option for us right now.

Being Ethical Nutrition, we’ve of course gone a step further with our jars. The label, lid and seal are also plastic-free and fully recyclable! This might seem small but adds a big cost due to the required sealing technology.
