Better communication would have solved problem
I received poor customer service and some of the products I bought where faulty when they arrived. Will not deal with them again and wanted to warn others....
Details:
I wanted to buy some copper busbar and saw what I wanted on the Zippy website. Unfortunately, I did not see a note that said "Click and Collect Only" next to the busbars. When I had added other products also to the order and gone to checkout the order just went through without any flag to alert me that I could not receive the busbars by post. They did not call me to check with me, but did a refund on the busbar and sent the other in stock items. When I realised they were doing this without first contacting me, I tried to contact them numerous times, but they say they were closed so I did not get a response.
Communication BEFORE the order was sent out would have solved the problem.
I also received faulty Tesla Cable Clips. A number of the cable clips I purchased were cracked along the plastic where the nail is encapsulated. (A faulty product like that is a real nuisance for me as an Electrician because they are scattered throughout the pack and randomly come up as the items are used.) Due to the fact that I would have to pay for return postage to get a refund, compounded with the already negative experience so far, I decided to put it down to lessons learnt.
I only decided to post a comment when I found the Tesla Cable Clips defective as it tipped me over, causing me to feel I needed to warn others.
As an electrician, I deal with a lot of electrical suppliers. online included, and these guys don't rate well for me when compared.

Firstly, after extensive research we found that Alex is not an electrician as he says he is, he makes Didgeridoos for a living so any electrical work he has carried out himself is illegal to begin with and he has been reported to Fair Trading NSW.
Secondly, Alex purchased 23 items in his order and one item was only refunded as it was a Click & Collect only product and this is clearly labelled on the listing itself and would be impossible to miss. Although this order was placed on January 5th 2023, a period in which we were technically closed for Holidays for 2 weeks, one of our staff still went to our warehouse and fulfilled his order except the RCBO busbar since it is 1m in length and the couriers we use do not ship them out. Our team went ahead and fulfilled 22 items out of 23 items Alex ordered in the next day his order was received. The RCBO Busbar was refunded the same day the order was shipped and a clear explanation was provided by email to Alex on why we couldn’t ship this particular item. Alex received his order within 3 business days although he is situated in rural NSW as it was sent express at no extra cost to him however, he contacted us and was arguing on why the RCBO busbar wasn’t sent still. Our team member kept explaining that we cannot ship this order, he kept arguing with Jimmy and insisted that we rectify his problem since he needs the RCBOS and became frustrated and hence left this review.
The cable clips you mentioned are supplied by Australia’s largest independent wholesaler Tesla at over 100 independent wholesalers including us. If there were any issues with the clips, you could have contacted us and we would have had this rectified for you but you provided no such evidence of any faults. My question to you is how a 2cm-by-2cm cable clip can cause you to fall over like your review said.
Alex, our advice, read the product description prior to any purchase and respect the decision of the company instead of being overly aggressive.

Oh my god the staff is so friendly and I have gone memories of this place as they returned my wallet pouch even after I had lost all hopes and they worked hard to trace me down ..and kept it safe for me ...
As I entered almost all knew I had come for my wallet ..wow.

I have had the best service from this…
I have had the best service from this particular store. My mum was after a whole house of lights and the staff member was so helpful. Mum has a speech issue due to a stroke and is very uncomfortable talking to strangers. Jules made her feel so comfortable. Excellent service would highly recommended and they really know their stuff. Even go there just for globes now. A+

Best vacuum I have owned
Best vacuum I have owned! The Elcop Vigor is very quiet, easy to manoeuvre and cleans great! I have 3 bedrooms with carpet and it works like a treat. It also does very well on tiles and hard surfaces. All the attachments are great and allow me to clean different surfaces. Very happy with the purchase

The CCTV from zippy is seriously top…
The CCTV from zippy is seriously top notch. Ive tried several other brands and although on paper they say it is the same, when it comes to real life use after it has been installed, the diamond series is by far the superior product. I am a CCTV installer and I will not be using anything else from now on

Unbelievable customer service
Unbelievable customer service! They went above and beyond general sales service and have one very happy customer! Sales experience was flawless and they did everything to ensure we were happy.
1 months after purchase, I noticed a error with the tax invoice provided. Within an hour they solved this very quickly and efficiently. Great job Zippy Electrical Suppliers and team!

Always a great experience here at Zippy. Customer service through email is extremely helpful and quick. Team in the store are quick and I've never had an issue picking up my click and collect goods. They're also very competitive in price. I don’t even bother with anywhere else No need to
