My daughter has been training with Adam now for years. It’s without doubt provided her a level of confidence and capability that I never believed was possible. The club is excellent if you are thinking about martial arts this is the club to join.

Recommend 100% - confidence building along with technical abilities and self defence. My daughter loves attending.

My mum has already posted a review(I think) but I’ve been doing karate for quite some time now and from my own experience the club has helped me make new friends and learn some new skills.The instructor has also helped me with my gradings and is genuinely a good teacher

I've known Adam for several years now and he is a very knowledgeable and experienced instructor. He is great with beginners all the way through to the more senior grades such as myself and will always encourage you to do your best.
I've attend a number of different YSMS classes which are all friendly and welcoming, and have students of all abilities and ages.
My son joined the club over a year ago, when he was 5 years old. He enjoys the classes which are great for exercise and building self confidence.

Adam is not only a great instructor but a friend and confidante to my daughter. She has been with Adam for 13 years or so and just graded for her blackbelt. Through covid he did zoom classes to keep the momentum going for the students which was great. His passion in striving to give his students the best for them to achieve their best is second to none. He is fantastic all round, if yoy are thinking to give your kids a taster in martial arts then go to YSMS you will not be disappointed and your kids will thrive with the confidence and new life skills they will achieve

Adam is very skilled at what he does he is fantastic with the kids he had loads of patience and not only has my son learned martial arts but has grown so much in confidence and gained skills to think more positive in himself and his abilities

Adam is a greater teacher who has supported my daughter not only the discipline of karate but also grown her inner confidence and resilience. Classes are filled with humour and focus and over the 10 years she has attended Isabel has grown friendships within the group

Adam is a very experienced instructor teaching adults and children of all abilities. With his help and encouragement I have gone beyond what I thought I could and absolutely love it. Go for it.

I can't recommend Adam and YSMS enough. My son has been attending Adams karate lessons for over 2 years now and absolutely loves going. He's progressed through his belts and made fantastic progress . As well as teaching him all that Martial Arts has to offer, he has made some great friends too!

YSMS is a great organisation, both my kids have been attending Adam’s classes for some time now and have both come on a long way, it’s great for boosting confidence with goals to work towards and celebrate when achieved. If you are after a challenge physically and mentally with fun along the way I can highly recommend.

YSMS is a great school. My children wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Their teacher, Adam, is stern yet fun. He will push yet is patient. He won’t do what many other schools do and up a belt because they’ve been so many classes. He makes sure they’re ready before giving them their next belt. No cheating in this school.
His passion comes through his teaching. He wants to get the best out of his students. In doing so, his students has a high level of respect for him.

First met Adam around 3 years ago when he was the only one out of about a dozen I contacted who was willing to have a look at my daughter Brianna who has cerebral palsy to see if it was possible to teach her all the others gave a very positive NO But Adam has now been teaching her for 3 years at two different venues and just to see her smile when she learns and gets a kata right is worth it plus he's brought her out of her shell as she was very shy with no confidence but now she can't wait for Fridays class and he also teaches myself and my dad and we would all recommend him as he's a great instructor with lots of patience for all ages from 5 to ??? My dad is 70

My daughter used to go to karate before. It didn't even look like karate! We went to YSMS and oh! So big difference! Very experienced Sensei! Sensei is patient and kind as well as Sensei's older students who help with little ones! I highly recommend YSMS to everyone! My daughter has improved not only in karate, but in respecting people, know how to behave (you know little girls) and basically I can see the improvement after each session!
