Blood collection is very difficult

I have not received my results back yet, but I wanted to review regarding the blood collection with the finger pricks. It is ridiculous. I ended up pricking three fingers trying desperately to 'milk' the blood into the tube. It was hard to get the blood in the tube and extremely difficult to get the amount required. I don't think the finger prick is an appropriate method. In the end I had to use a diabetic needle to collect the blood. Without this there is no way I would have got the blood required and I suspect this is why there are so many reviews complaining about 'inconclusive tests'. They need a better method for blood collection. The lancets are a joke and you will struggle to get 0.8ml of blood.

It is scam

It is scam, they just take your money and disappear, the phone number on their website connects to receptionist from a different company, they do not even work for Yoxly and the support email address is not responsive, it is probably a dormant mailbox.

Waste of time

Waste of time - almost all result come back inconclusive . Don’t waste your money go to NHS services for a guaranteed result and genuine check

We're very sorry about this! As we explain in our results portal, on some rare occasions samples are inhibitory -- that is, they are affected in some way which prevents them from being analysed accurately by our testing equipment.

Did you contact one of our advisors (support@yoxly.com)? If not, please do so right away as we always offer a replacement test kit -- completely free of charge, of course -- as we certainly want you to receive the product/service you paid for.

Again, apologies for this, but please do contact us, if you've not already, as we certainly want to make this right for you!

You can’t complete the test after…

You can’t complete the test after paying for it as it’s inhibited so that’s it nothing from it think it’s shocking

We're very sorry about this! As we explain in our results portal, on some rare occasions samples are inhibitory -- that is, they are affected in some way which prevents them from being analysed accurately by our testing equipment.

We're committed to maintaining the highest standards of testing, and thus if a sample is affected in any way, we report this as inhibitory rather than taking the chance of reporting a potentially inaccurate test result.

As you know, when you reported your result as inhibitory, one of our advisors contacted you within a few hours to confirm your results and also to offer a new test kit.

It is always our practice to put our users first, as we want to be a people company, and when you informed us of the inhibitory result we quickly offered a new test kit, free of charge, to ensure you received the product and service you paid for.

We'll work with you, as we are doing now, to make sure you receive the free replacement test kit quickly, and also that you receive the most accurate results as quickly as possible.

Thanks once again for your feedback, and we apologise one or more of your samples returned as inhibitory. Rest assured, though, we'll do all we can to correct this, free of charge to you.

Hard to take blood

Hard to take blood. Sent off samples 5 days ago and not confirmation received. Ended up going into a proper clinic to get bloods done so waste of money.

Good afternoon! Thanks so much for your feedback and for letting us know. Each of our kits contains a postage-paid, Royal Mail Tracked 24 return envelope to use when sending back your samples. As soon as the Royal Mail delivers your samples to us we notify you via email and begin processing your samples right away.

Given how busy the Royal Mail is over the Christmas and New Year period, it could be that they have not yet delivered your samples, which we can only apologise for: it's not the level of customer service we wish to provide, and it's always frustrating to be let down by third parties like the Royal Mail.

Do you know if you contacted our customer support team to enquire (support@yoxly.com, or by calling us or using the chat functionality on our website? We would've been very happy to help, but we are not seeing any message from you.

Please do contact us at support@yoxly.com and we'd be very happy to resolve this in the best possible way for you.

Pack is very neatly produced and instructions clear. The blood collection devices were pretty much useless though, I had to try various cutting instruments to get enough blood. One of the tests was inconclusive but after contacting Yoxly, they sent a replacement and that worked. It would have been helpful if they had stated that was an option upfront - they're underselling a very comprehensive, speedy service.
