I highly recommend "you caring" as the best fundraising site. It's easy to use, updating and sending thank yous are a breeze! And your funds are readily accessible. If you care about someone use this site to raise money.

YouCaring is fairly easy to use and the rates deducted from the donations for fees are fair

YouCaring is a great Web page to use. The youcaring site is free but the money handling company they use is not. That's where they get you. The Web page is easy to use and that's nice.

I had no problems with the site. This truly helped me tell my story and reach out to others.

Many hours of research and working in the platforms of other fundraiser sites. YouCaring was not only 5% less cost to the donator but very easy to set up and maintain.

Two requests (that were potential deal breakers over other sites):
Be able to configure the YouCaring default donation amount.
Be able to crop and view pictures in Updates prior to posting.

Overall, our experience with YouCaring was great. Customer service was responsive, and the payment processing fees through WePay were not too bad. I'd love to see YouCaring use a different payment processor, because WePay isn't the most responsive, and the management interface for managing donations on the backend is sparse. However, other than that, YouCaring was wonderful!

I was crowd funding for a friend with breast cancer. People wanted to donate so I made a youcaring site. I kept getting feed back from people who donated that they had to make a donation on top of thier donation. turns out youcaring put an automatic extra donation on top of the amount selected to donate. They said it was to help fund the site. My issue is that they already take 2.9% and a $.30 per transaction fee. If you worked really hard you could get the extra donation off your total but most people thought it was required and it felt very dubious to me.

YouCaring.org was super quick to set up and allowed a quick and easy platform for arranging for donations for my children upon my husband's passing. The percentage was reasonable (2.9%) and it automatically transfers funds to your bank account on a frequency you select. Would highly recommend this site to anyone!

The response was quick over the weekend and quite helpful.

After a close family friend passed, I researched various online fundraising services looking for one that could help us quickly mobilize. We only had one shot to get it right, and moved forward with YouCaring. In less than 48 hours, we hit 150% of our goal. Aside from a few minor inconveniences in the administrative UI, YouCaring delivered as hoped. Their customer support was also quick to respond to any troubleshooting needs.

First things first, Youcaring is built upon donations and is not a fixed cost on every transaction. There are credit card transaction fees but other than that, they are not required. Great website!
