I ordered the white Jacqueline dress…

I ordered the white Jacqueline dress for my hen's and it was PERFECT. It wasn't in stock and I had preordered it from Australia to Iceland so I wasn't sure it would make it in time but ordered anyway because it was perfect. So I emailed Yojani Boutique to ask when they thought it would arrive. I said I had ordered it for my hen's but just to explain why I was asking. They answered me immediately and told me they would send in a rushed order for just one dress in my size to ensure it would get to me in time. The customer service at Yojani is the best I've ever experienced and I could not recommend them more. The dress was gorgeous and such high quality, I'm just utterly obsessed! THANK YOU

Thank you so much for your feedback! We would like to clarify that your order was placed as a pre-order item and was delivered within the estimated timeframe stated on the product page at the time of purchase.

We appreciate that not every garment will suit every individual body shape, proportions, or personal preference. However, this particular style has been tried and tested on over 5,000 women and remains one of our most-loved designs, with the vast majority of customers absolutely adoring both the fit and silhouette.

Regarding returns, as outlined in our Returns Policy which is linked sitewide and presented again during checkout, we offer returns for exchange or store credit (valid for three years) for change-of-mind purchases, including fit and sizing concerns.

As a small Australian family business, we choose to absorb significant costs on behalf of our international customers, including international shipping and import duties into the United States. At the same time, our team operates at capacity, and returns are an incredibly time-intensive process. Every returned garment must be carefully inspected, professionally re-steamed, quality checked, repackaged, and prepared for resale before it can be made available to another customer.

For this reason, our exchange and store credit policy allows us to operate sustainably while continuing to offer premium products and international shipping services to customers around the world.

We genuinely appreciate your order and are sorry to hear this particular style was not the right fit for you.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had a wonderful experience with Yojani Boutique. I purchased a dress and there was a slight fault, but the customer service was exceptional, they quickly sent a replacement without requiring me to return the original first, which made the whole process so easy and stress-free. I absolutely love the dress and really appreciate how smoothly everything was handled. I will definitely be purchasing from this store again.

We’re sorry to hear this was your experience, however we do feel there may be some confusion here regarding both our shipping model and return policy.

Firstly, we do sell a number of high-demand styles on a pre-order basis, which is clearly stated on the relevant product pages prior to purchase. These pieces are extremely popular and are often produced in allocated runs to avoid overproduction and waste. Estimated shipment windows are provided upfront so customers can make an informed decision before ordering.

In regard to returns, our policies are linked sitewide in the footer of every page, as well as again at checkout prior to completing an order. As outlined there, we absolutely do accept returns for change of mind, fit or personal preference; however, these are facilitated via exchange or store credit (valid for three years) only. While we would genuinely love to facilitate international try-ons with full refunds to original payment methods, as a small family-run Australian business, this unfortunately isn’t operationally feasible for us at our current scale. We currently cover international shipping to the United States, including duties and tariffs on import, and once an order is placed, non-reversible costs are immediately incurred across payment processing, logistics, warehousing allocation and marketing channels.
In addition, returns are not simply a reversal of a transaction. Every returned garment must be manually received, inspected against quality standards, steamed, quality checked again and professionally repackaged before being made available for resale. This is a highly labour-intensive process for a growing boutique business operating internationally.

We do always encourage customers to review our policies prior to purchase to ensure they align with their expectations, and we remain more than happy to assist customers within the confines of those stated policies.

The Jacqueline Dress is perfect

I pre ordered the red Jacqueline dress for my daughter. She needed it for a wedding on a specific date & the staff was very responsive & helpful in making sure that the dress was shipped & delivered on time. They even expedited the shipping for free. She loves the dress. It’s beautiful & was worth the wait.

Cheap Chinese quality with no refund

This is an Instagram brand that ships from China. Product is priced like a designer item, takes weeks to arrive, and quality is extremely cheap. Store policy is exchange or store credit only. I took photos of the sizing discrepancy from advertised measurements and was able to get a refund through credit card company. Buyer beware.

Hi Amanda, We’re sorry to see this review, however we do feel it’s important to clarify a number of points for accuracy.

Please note as seen on your order confirmation, you had purchased an out-of-stock item on pre-order, which is why there was a lead time prior to dispatch. As advised at the time of purchase, this falls within the stated pre-order timeframe, and the Jacqueline Dress is frequently placed on pre-order due to how quickly it sells out which is why your dress took two weeks to arrive.
Yojani is an Australian business headquartered in Brisbane, and as clearly disclosed in our Shipping Policy (linked across our website and at checkout), we operate multiple dispatch locations. Orders may be shipped from here, or from our overseas warehouse (located close to our manufacturing partners) particularly for US customers. This allows us to deliver orders faster and more efficiently, rather than routing stock via Australia first. We also cover international shipping and duties for our customers, which is a significant cost we absorb.
The country of dispatch does not determine the quality or authenticity of a garment. Like the majority of Australian fashion brands, inclusive of many premium and high-end labels, our pieces are manufactured in specialised overseas factories (including China and Asia), using premium fabrics and established construction standards. Our manufacturer for this style specifically specialises in stretch cotton sateen garments.
In relation to quality, the Jacqueline Dress has been sold in extremely high volumes and has been very well received across thousands of customers. We provide extensive product detail prior to purchase, including full fabrication breakdown (composition and GSM), detailed imagery and video, and we utilise YKK zips, widely regarded as the most premium and durable in the market.
We also note that you provided us with a video wearing the dress, where your feedback related to the waist being too cinched and the hips having volume. This is the intended design and silhouette of the Jacqueline Dress, not a fault or defect.
Finally, our returns policy, offering exchange or store credit for change-of-mind or fit-related returns, is clearly outlined across our website, including on product pages and at checkout prior to purchase.
In relation to our return policy, whilst we would love to offer try-ons with refunds to the original payment method, please note we are a small family business based in Australia and simply do not have the operational capacity to facilitate this at present. We are operating at full capacity, and processing returns is extremely time-intensive. Each returned dress must be carefully inspected, re-steamed and professionally repacked before it can be made available for sale again. Additionally, we choose to cover worldwide shipping on this product and provide duties-paid delivery for our customers. These are high costs that are not refunded to us if a refund should take place. As such, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for change of mind, fit or sizing. However, we are absolutely happy to offer returns of this nature for exchange or store credit. It’s disappointing when policies that are transparently provided are later disregarded, and negative reviews are used as a means to challenge them, particularly on a style that has been so well received by the majority of our customers, as seen on our main third party reviews platforms.
