One star is too much.

Total scam.

Adverts forced on you before you can see your alerts, this is so dangerous, as the adverts take forever (if ever) to close. The close button on the ad is a lie and forces you to go to google play store to the advertised app they are selling.

Purlie, childish ads, annoying to the point you do not want to use them.

Replacing every camera and recommend no one buys their cameras or uses their app

Publicidad. Que llega ha dejar inoperativas las cámaras. Al incio era publicidad intrusiva pero aguantable. Ahora no permte cancelar la publicidad hasta que está termina. No las recomiendo ni aunque te las regalen

Le matériel est de bonne qualité par contre au bout un an vous êtes bombardé de pub dans l’application de contrôle de votre caméra, pire ils vous limitent certaines fonctionnalités (ex : consultation en direct limitée à 180secondes) perso je voulais m’en acheter 3 autres pour l’extérieur… ben au final NON … marque a fuite pour sa stratégie commerciale forcée

I would give less if possible. These cameras used to be good but due to all the aggressive paywall activity, the cameras are essentially useless without a subscription.
DO NOT BUY. Service is overpriced and underwhelming. Spend your money on a better product and service.

Great camera hardware, awful app experience
I’ve owned my YI outdoor camera for several years and the hardware is reliable with good video quality.
The app, however, is ruined by constant advertising and upselling of cloud storage and premium packages. These pop-ups appear before I can access basic functions like live footage or motion notifications.
I paid for the hardware and expect the core features to work immediately, without being blocked by ads. There should be a permanent opt-out for subscriptions.
Until YI fixes this, I cannot recommend the app experience.

Una vera indecenza,app non più utilizzabile,non solo per la pubblicità continua e duratura,ma anche per le continue notifiche e assillanti richieste di abbonamento,oltre dapprima aver eliminato i 15 secondi gratuiti di visione riducendo ad una sola foto…adesso aggiungono anche una visione live di soli di 180 secondi(mentre prima era 24 ore su 24).
È una vera truffa, chiediamo tutto i soldi indietro.
Se ci fosse stata la possibilità di mettere zero stelle le avrei messe volentieri.
Io purtroppo ne ho comprate 4 di telecamere,ma solo una ne metto in funzione sopratutto quando parto.
Quindi una bella spesa senza utilizzo per le loro assillanti richieste

Before YI bought Kami, the camera was functional without ads. Ever since the buyout, which was 3 or 4 years ago, the app is trash. Live view limited time, ads spamming you when you open the app, and while viewing the feed. Do yourself a favor and skip this cheap chinese camera.

Never buy cameras with this software YIiot !!!!! NEVER !! Camera-pictures not be able to see. Only and only reclame !!! I cannot understand that a brand as Pegatah use this complete ridicule software YIiot.
They can better stop with producing this sort of cameras with this software !!!!!

Worst apps with too intrusive adds. Do not recommend at all. I had been a user of YI camera for many years but their app is so ridiculous now.

Bought three of these cameras with the express understanding that they would serve my purposes without requiring a subscription - which they did for awhile. Then the company moved the goalposts on cameras I already owned that they are basically useless without a subscription. TOTAL SCAM. Shocked it is legal for them to bait and switch customers like this! Where do I sign up for the class action suit????

DO NOT USE YI/KAMI CAMERAS!!
Filled with tons of ads that you have to watch for as long as 2 minutes or so, just to watch your live feed of a SECURITY CAMERA!

Do not use at all!

Open the app - multiple ads with timers,

View live stream - multiple ads with timers and now limited to viewing under 2 mins before you have to watch multiple MORE ads with timers!

Everything has ads.
This is unusable, especially as a security app!

They also put lots of things that you used to have included for free, behind a paywall, even HD viewing is behind a paywall now!
And you are limited to under 2 mins to watch your live stream.
This should be illegal!

What is worse is that many ads are scam ads too which impersonate sites or would install malware/virus's if you installed them!

Imagine if you think you are being robbed.
You open the app to ads, then more ads to watch the live stream.
Takes you 2-3 mins just to view a live stream and then you are limited to a short viewing time before you have to do it all again!

Do not use Yi or Kami cameras at all!

How i wish i had read the reviews before i bought two cameras… cannot get passed the ads to even set up.. they will go in my bin……

This Company is a scam.

-Cannot Review SDCard
-Live view has been limited to 60 seconds without subscription.
-Cameras AI never worked, not worth the money
-Camera has unbelieve ADs that you cannot escape, and forced to click the link to get out of.

This company needs to be removed from all listing and not sold under google or anyone for that matter.

I actually used to buy their subscription, but now, given the deceptive practices they do, I cancelled a while ago, and slowly moving to other cameras like VICO.

Very Bad overall.
