Horrible phones - fiddly and unintuitive menus are difficult to navigate, particularly messages and history. Avoid.

Yealink handsets are a plastic space junk nightmare. Expensive, but worth about £7.50, with a pre-1950 user interface designed by woodlice. They flash and beep all the time. All functions are hidden in ridiculous menu structures and behind passcodes you can't configure or override. Avoid these phones at all costs. I have no idea what's available that's better. But I bet there's not much that's worse.

BT changed my phones about a year ago and I now have two Yealink handsets. The phones do not give the correct time and date and it is most frustrating in trying to run a business. I have tried to get help from Yealink, but it is hopeless. I am well into retirement age and I do not get any help other than requests to provide by email highly technical information - at least for me. This company has extremely disappointing after sales service and I wished BT had never changed my phones. I have a Cisco phone on my desk, which is far better.

Hateful phone, doesn’t always shut down when put back in the cradle making incoming calls impossible. Call ringing volume can find away to go silent so again call go unanswered. Do everything you can to avoid these useless phones.

New DECT phones. Very expensive. No instruction manual just quick set up guide. A nightmare to find how to use functions. Absolutely hate the phones!!!

Horrible piece of junk. No speakerphone. Other person sounds like an underwater robot.

Terrible DECT phone systems, the firmware issues were never ending, now the speakers across all handsets suddenly became distorted. Our VOIP provider tried everything. Endless trouble with this Chinese junk – I'd advise avoiding Yealink products at all costs, shoddy junk only good for landfill

The Yealink T31P is a not bad phone - I am happy with the voice sound, and the web GI.
However - the screen is too crowded, low resolution, and poor backlight distribution - has darker and brighter areas. How much more would a better screen cost? A couple of dollars?
But the worse thing - it can't reconcile incoming calls with the internal phone book.
It can only show phone numbers, not names of people in the phone book..
What a shame! Every old analog phone with a display and phone book memory could do that.

Yealink/BT Voice.

Completely useless.Crackling/ service dropping out - when it works at all. Instructions completely inaccurate. Can't find base station and more.

BT have replaced base station and one out of the 4 phones they were supposed to replace and new router.

Tis has been going on for two years.

DO NOT BUY unless you like hassle.

Where do I start!
A few months ago I purchased a W73H 4 handset system. Since then my provider has been unable to save my calling directory to all the phones at once. Instead I have to go to each phone and update individually….useless.
Also.
The the Get Messages option does not!! Is simply dials my number. I must dial *97, then hit the green button to dial in to get my messages. Why doesn’t the the get messages option work…..useless.
Also.
When I listen to my messages and then delete them, the following day they are still there. I must then listen to all the messages again to make sure I don’t miss an important one …..Useless.
Also.
Look online (you don’t get an instruction manual) the information says, for example, go to settings, then press A then press B but there is no B!! …..Useless
All in all, not worth the £400+ I paid. When my contract comes up to renew, I am thinking of ditching the voip system and relying on mobiles.
Verdict: Don’t buy

Easily the worst handset I have ever tried to use in 40 years of business. Not in the least intuitive. Too many buttons to access simple commands. Why do providers still offer this garbage? Incomprehensible to use and unreliable. Total utter rubbish.

Sadly I have just entered a new contract with BT which included provision of a DECT W73P phone system.
The handset has proved unreliable to the point where I have been sent a 5th handset as 4 of the last handsets I had stopped working!!! Into the bargain I have had to be connected to an agent in India to get the system to registered and initialised!! Now on a wing and a prayer.

Bought a w78H handset to add to my yealink base station. The w56H I have is fine but this one just sticks saying data synchronising and it will not complete even if you follow the steps. Cannot find any useful customer service pretty disappointing with this product. Cannot use what I paid for

Ive had a Yealink phone for approximately 2 years (T21P E2), today I found out that its been taken off line and is now end of life. Yealink now offer no more support for it and it came with no warning that it will be put out of service. This is despite it still being available for purchase online at many retailers.
I am now looking for a new Voip phone but will be looking for any other company other than Yealink. Zero trust in the company.

As supplied by BT Cloud Voice, these don't work.

And BT are pretty clueless.

Brilliant phone solutions for IP phones. We bought three T54W for the office and they deal with all our comms needs and exceeded expectations by a large margin. The sound quality exceeded our Swisscom landlines!
