Our experience as tenants with Yates Hellier was very positive and the best we have had from any letting agent. They were always friendly and efficient. Whenever there were any issues with the flat, it would take them no time at all to get them sorted and they always communicated with us very well.

Ross came recommended and I can see why. He was very professional and showed good negotiation skills throughout the process. My flat in the west end was undervalued and Ross managed to get it revalued up after presenting evidence of previous sales to the surveyor. He was also very good negotiating with potential buyers in a difficult scenario I found myself in as the market was dropping. Again he managed to negiotate the price up from a buyer. Yates Hellier as a whole were very good and refreshingly they don't tie you into 6 month contracts like other bigger estate agents. This is invaluable in a falling market as it gives you the option to cancel or postpone the sale and not be penalised.

Ross Yates came to our home to do a valuation on it as one of what we had planned as a number of valuations when considering putting our home on the market last year. (He had showed us around one of his properties we had put an offer on, and we were taken by his open and friendly manner that didn’t come with the hard sell that can often happen with estate agents.) After meeting with Ross and listening to his honest, considered and straightforward valuation and what we might wish to consider doing that might improve on it, we decided not to bother with other valuations and stuck with Ross and Yates Helier. Ross managed all the viewings, was very helpful and supportive and gave great advice throughout.
