Theives at its best work!! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!! They won't do anything! they'll just say the person didn't listen to us as if they didn't hire him, nor will they compensate and then ignore u. oh yes 'my colleague addressed your issue' his address we are sorry for the inconvenience... effing STOLE MONEY IN THE FORM OR PARCEL AND SORRY wow the balls by this brand. They gave a scammer a platform, they should be liable but no they don't give 2 shits.

I have subscribed to Yango Plus/Yango Play to get the 30 % rides chargeback. I have never received any chargeback on any of my finished rides ordered via Yango app. I have contacted Yango Taxi support, they have pointed me to Yango Play support and there they found out I should have received a compensation. But I never received any. Now I am in an infinite loop of going between Yango Taxi and Yango Play supports of who is responsible to handle that. Seems like no one. Never use this service, you have been warned!
Unauthorised Charge Attempts & Endless Support Loop
I am extremely disappointed with Yango’s handling of a serious billing issue.
My card has been subjected to multiple pre-authorisation attempts for “Yango Plus” that I did not approve. I am not actively using the app and have not subscribed to any recurring service.
When I contacted in-app support, I was redirected to WhatsApp. The WhatsApp channel provided only automated responses and closed the conversation without resolving anything. After more than 24 hours of trying to reach a human agent, I am still stuck in a support loop.
This is a payment security concern. Redirecting users between departments without accountability is unacceptable.
If you are going to store card details, you must provide functioning support when billing issues arise.
I expect a proper escalation and resolution.

I used Yango in Dakar Sénégal. I paid the driver via the app but he came back to abuse me that I was to pay him directly and Yango. Yango as no customer service number except an online support. The driver was very agitated and agressive. I had to pay that journey twice even after writing to Yango. All they said was they have warn him for future conduct. I would advised anybody using this service to search for their competitors as without a telephone customer service support you’re left on your own.

Extremely disappointing. I lost an entire day of my trip because of their miscommunication and lack of help. I made the booking for the car rental, paid, sent them the documents and the booking was confirmed. I contacted them on WhatsApp to double check with a real person. Their representative assured me that all I had to do was wait for the car to be delivered to my location. After hours and hours of delays the rental company asked me to resend the documents that I already provided to Yango.Why? Because yango did not forward them my license and passport! So I have to the process all over again with the rental company. I was supposed to get the car early in the morning. I had plans for the day laid out. Turns out I lost my whole day because they could deliver the car after 5 pm. My booking was 10 am. Yango said this is normal, and if I cancelled I’d be forced to oblige with their “cancellation policy” aka pay them regardless. Worst rental experience ever

They charge even if the driver waits for just one minute, and there’s a 20 AED fee for cancellation. Affordable, Comfortable, safe in one side and ride issues because of minimum riders and constantly increasing fare is in another side.

It's not a good app for finding cheap and reasonable rides more over drivers are very mannerless and also sometimes they make customers uncomfortable not a good app to travel safely. Not recommended very useless, hate this app.

What even worse is they have taken over the service in Oman from OTaxi, who could sign up with WhatsApp.
I did email customer services. They confirmed it's only by SMS.
Me thinks the business plan for customer acquisition has gone South. IMHO.

I booked with this app twice and everytime I book, I choose regular taxi which only ask for 20 aed from school to home but the app won't let you proceed with the booking without choosing two types of car. Regular and Comfort. The first taxi was under "comfort car" and I paid the regular price. I asked the taxi driver that it was supposed to be a discounted price because it's my first time to book that's according to their promotion. And the driver told me to complain to customer service if I want to get a discount. Such a waste of time!
The second time was when I booked, they gave me the regular taxi 20 aed but the one that arrived was a comfort car 35 dirhams. I was shocked why it wasn't a taxi, not the same plate number and the driver said it's the same car! The supposedly comfort car was an old car, with dilapidated flooring and smelly car! I had to cancel!
Still, this company will charge you for the booking fee which is the same price if you book the regular taxi going to your destination.
YANGO'S Nasty Driver and No Action by YANGO
They have launched a Promo on 13th of October 2025. I booked a ride at 17:54 Pakistan Time from Public Pharmacy, Valencia Town, Lahore, Pakistan to Taha Driving School, Township, Lahore, Pakistan. The driver came in a White Suzui Alto, Plate No. AJH 026. The fare for this ride was Pak. Rs.321. After I got into the vehicle the driver said that Rs.321 is a Promo fare and I do not accept this fare. I will charge you Pak. Rs.400. I refused to accept this nasty action and cancelled the ride. After that I contacted their ride support. They just gave me lame excuses and no concrete action was taken by their management against this nasty behavior and unprofessional driver. It seems they do not have control over the drivers and They are incapable of giving true customer service. Thats' why I donot recommend to use YANGO hail- riding service. Thats' why I see poor rating of YANGO at Trust Pilot

Látelly i got old cars without the logo of Yango. Oné Parked to the other side of the ave, when i realized it was Yango I i had to cross the busy ave. The driver was very upset, he look drunk may be and dirty
The last one in Ave Santa Cruz, when i open the door , it was dirty inside and looked like a vomit on the seat, obviously I couldnt get in and told him, he looked and told me just cancelled, very upset and started moving before I could close the door . The first one April 21 and the 2nd one on April 23
Tried to book four times
Tried to book four times, only succesful on one occasion.
Twice no drivers accepted the ride. Once the driver took a detour in getting to us, making waiting time go from less than 1 minute to eight minutes. So cancelled that ride.
Tried today from the heliport at the cruise terminal. Went through 10+ drivers who did not accept the ride ( this took about 5 minutes) only to have the heliport staff call for a taxi that arrived in less than one minute
Unreliable Service and Empty Promises – Avoid This App!
I booked a car rental through the Yango app, but when it was time to receive the car, it never arrived. Worse yet, they didn’t even bother to inform me that the car wouldn’t be delivered. Instead, they kept saying they’d connect me with the rental company and that the company would contact me but no one ever did. This dragged on for days without any resolution or alternative provided. The lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking. Don’t believe the glowing reviews, they are far from accurate!
