I applfor a Finnish speaking job a few times with them, and after each time I promised myself that I won’t apply again.
Each time I was met with quite rude responses or they stop responding mid hiring process. The last time I applied they asked where I’m based. At the time I was in Romania as my partner had to be there for work. Our plan was to move to Croatia where we have a beachfront property or to go to the Netherlands or Italy after his job thing ended. The minute they heard that I am in Romania, which is within the EU, they stopped responding.
I’m not salty for not being hired, as there are several Finnish speaking projects that I can work for, but I couldn’t help but feel prejudice and racism each time I enrolled in a conversation with them.
PS. Romania was amazing.

Just to be clear — we don’t tolerate racism or discrimination in any form, and we’re really disappointed to hear that it came across that way. We work with people from all over the world, and where someone is based can sometimes be a factor due to time zones or client-specific requirements, but it’s never about background or nationality.
If our communication felt rude or unprofessional, that’s on us — and we’ll take a look at how we’re handling these conversations. That shouldn’t happen.
