Extremely Poor Customer Service and Incorrect Order
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience shopping at the Zumiez online store. First, the delivery took significantly longer than expected — nearly two weeks. Second, I received items in incorrect sizes, which made the purchase completely useless.
I tried to contact customer support to arrange a return, but encountered serious difficulties. It was nearly impossible to reach them by phone — calls went unanswered even during business hours. When I finally managed to speak with a representative, the interaction was very unpleasant and unprofessional.
I was promised a return shipping label via email, but I never received it. My further attempts to contact support — both by phone and email — were ignored.
As a result, I am left in a situation where I cannot return the items or get any assistance from the store. Based on this experience, I strongly do not recommend this retailer.
I had a really great experience
I had a really great experience with Zumiez customer support and wanted to share it.
I was tracking my order and saw that it was marked as delivered in California, which confused me since I live in Germany. I contacted Zumiez support around 12 a.m., and even though it was a Saturday, I got a reply by 5 p.m., which is honestly impressive for such a big company.
The person who helped me, Rodney, was extremely helpful and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The response was clear, reassuring, and solved my confusion right away.
I really appreciate how fast and reliable their customer service is, and it’s refreshing to know that you’re actually talking to a real person who takes the time to help properly.
Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had — I’d trust them anytime.

I was charged 69.99 for a pair of jeans and half of another for 44.99 I paid after all shipping and tax 100 and plus dollars for 2 jeans and when I got them they where both on sale different color amd model for 44.99 that's insane stealing money my hicking up the prices.

Novalsols, was the only saving grace that helped me pull back most of the funds that was ta ken from me. I was also denied access to my trading wallet and ask to pay a security f33 for no reason and this happened consistently and also went on for month.

I bought a pair of Adidas Campus tennis shoes online while onsite in the store, this option was suggested to me by the sales rep because they did not have my size on the shelf. I received the shoes in the mail at home. They did not fit, so when I returned to the store to return the shoes they said they went on sale again, and refused to refund the amount I paid for them. As far as I'm concenred this is just a form of theft. They claim to have a 30-day return policy. I returned the shoes on day 5, and they returned the amount for a new dropped sale price. Do not shop here. They are skimming money off the top and its super SHADY business practice and terrible customer service.
Zumiez is an enjoyable experience but has lots of improvements to be done
The variety of clothes and brands is respectable and the staff is always friendly and helpful so I really appreciate that, sometimes it feels like their clothing designs are a bit lackluster and getting more and more basic. Sometimes the discount rack has amazing deals so that usually makes it worth it since normal clothes now is considered pricey.
I lost my money because Zumiez failed to fulfill their obligations
I want to warn all international buyers away from ordering from this store. My experience was terrible.
I ordered a skateboard for $220. The item was shipped but got stuck at customs in my country (Turkey) due to incorrect paperwork from Zumiez. As a result, customs demanded an absurd fee of $450, which is more than double the cost of the item itself.
When I reached out to Zumiez to resolve the issue, they refused to help, claiming that I was responsible for all fees. They did not take any responsibility for their mistake. This proves that the company is incompetent at international commerce and doesn't care about its customers. They don't help when problems arise and simply shift all the blame and financial loss onto the buyer.
I lost my money because Zumiez failed to fulfill their obligations. I strongly do not recommend this store.
Zumiez will never get another $1 from me
I am a manager is one of the largest retail companies in the world so I know exactly what customer service entails. I only gave one star because zero was not an option. Today I went to Zumiez, the Jersey Gardens Mall location in Elizabeth, NJ to find some shoes for my daughter. The shoes were tagged $64.95. I get to the register and the associate tells me my total is $69.95. I showed him the price tag on the display shoe that said $64.95. He tells me it’s an old tag and the price on the box says $69.95. I said the box was in your stockroom, not on display for customers. It wasn’t my fault and the advertised price should be honored. He sarcastically responded saying it wasn’t his fault either. The two men that he was talking to when I entered the store seemed to be entertained by his lack of customer service because they were laughing at all of the responses that he gave me. I told him that I’ve been working in customer service for over 20 years and know that prices can be adjusted especially if it’s the advertised price. He sarcastically responded again saying there’s nothing he can do. It’s not his fault it was tagged wrong. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me he was the manager. I asked his name. He hesitated and responded “Tony” so I am not sure if that’s his real name. After calling corporate to make a complaint, I went to another store and found the same shoe. I paid $69.99, but I was okay with that. Money was never the issue. It was more about principle and lack of customer service. Zumiez will not get another dollar for me,
