Recently decided to sell my house and chose to go with yourmove following a face to face meeting with their agent, Lorna. The entire experience so far has been flawless and made great by Lorna, with excellent communication and solid advice. Lorna did exactly what she said she would and took the stress out of a very stressful experience. I'm so glad I chose yourmove, very professional and very customer focused. I would absolutely recommend yourmove!

Lack of Transparency and Poor Service

I instructed Reeds Rains/Your Move to find a tenant for my property and opted for their Rent Collection service. I relied on the Fee Table provided at the front of the agreement to understand the costs — as any reasonable person would. What I was not told, either verbally or in the Fee Table, was that a hidden exit fee equivalent to one month's rent plus VAT would apply if I later chose to manage the property myself.

This fee was buried in the body of the contract with no signposting. Had it been disclosed, I would never have chosen this service.

The service itself was equally poor. They failed to collect the very first rental payment — my tenant had to tell me the rent was overdue. They also failed to contact the tenant before the end of the first year to discuss renewal, as their own documentation required. Both times, my tenant came to me directly.

I have now escalated through two stages of their complaints process without any meaningful engagement on the core issue, and will refer the matter to The Property Ombudsman if Stage 3 does not resolve it. Any landlord considering this service should read every clause of the Terms of Business carefully — the Fee Table does not give you the full picture.

Right-move wolverhampton gave such a professional and friendly service when selling my home. Bav was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble, always at the end of the line whenever I needed him and kept me updated all the way through. Could not fault them would recommend to anyone.

Update: Update: Your Move replied publicly saying they wanted to resolve this. I gave them the requested contact information. They have still not meaningfully engaged.

A deeply unsatisfactory experience with Your Move / LSL

My experience with Your Move / LSL has been deeply unsatisfactory.

A serious issue arose after inaccurate information appears to have been supplied or relied upon following the sale of a property I previously owned. This led to an energy account being opened in my name and, ultimately, contact from a debt collection agency.

What concerns me most is not only the original issue, but the way it has been handled since. I have repeatedly tried to resolve this through calls, messages, formal correspondence, a data protection complaint and a Subject Access Request. I have still not received a complete response or a clear explanation of what happened.

In my opinion, the communication, accountability and complaint handling have fallen well below the standard any customer should expect. The matter has now been referred to the Information Commissioner’s Office and may be escalated further.

I would not recommend dealing with Your Move / LSL without keeping a full written record of every interaction.

We sold our house through these agents.
However felt quite let down with certain aspects.

Not the service expected.
Photos published without discussing them, they were poor quality to which we changed ourselves.
The lady who shown the perspective buyers around was lovely, although had no knowledge of our home. It was her first time there.
Discussions that should have took place with me were discussed with our solicitor, I specifically asked for this not to happen, yet it continued.
It made it an unpleasant experience,

On the day of the sale going through, we were told we had up until 4pm to move out, our plan was at the latest 1pm, as my partner was in hospital that morning, however once the money had exchanged Your Move informed the buyers they could go ahead with moving in,
At 10.30am I had removal vans at my front along with the buyers and their family members all ready to go, yet the house still had our belongings in.
This made things very awkward and upsetting, as it happens the buyers were very understanding of how we felt and waited.
My solicitor had to ring Your Move and inform them of what was happening,
Moving home is a stressful and difficult process, this pressure didn’t help.

There was No communication from your move, nothing, no thank you, absolutely nothing, we have the buyers the keys as they were waiting around even though they should have been handed in to the estate agents Your Move, we were left in a tricky situation.
I feel it was unprofessional and not a good experience all round.

Your- move whitehaven not very helpful grandsons landlord won’t give him his £650 deposit back . the house was full of damp etc

Top class service from start to finish. Fast response, early meeting and going the extra mile to ensure a fast, efficient and excellent service. Good follow up throughout. Richard and Emily could not have been better. Thank you.
