"Extremely poor and unlawful behavior from this agency. We were due to move in today with our 10-month-old baby, having called the agency every single day for updates. On the day of the move, they informed us that our references hadn't cleared in time and that we did not meet their income criteria. They are now illegally refusing to refund our £192 holding deposit. Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, failing an internal referencing check or income criteria is NOT a legal reason to retain a holding deposit. They are exploiting international renters. This matter has been formally reported to the Property Redress Scheme and Trading Standards."

We had a recommendation from our neighbour to go to Your Move removal company, Highbridge. We were so glad we got a quote John and the guys were amazing. They were so professional, Johns team was careful with our special items , and loaded the furniture on the van with great care .The whole family orientated, from the gentleman who checked the amount we had to move and his lovely wife who did the invoices .

I had contacted them about renting a house. Two days before moving in, they rejected my application based on a misrepresentation of a material fact. They wanted to retain my holding deposit, but they returned it after I threatened to sue them. They are a waste of time and poor services too.

Horrible service on multiple occasions back to back. They schedule appointments foe viewing and do not turn up. When you call them, the person on the line says they are not from the lettings dept and therefore your call falls on deaf ears. They falsely claim they have left voice mails. They deliberately misspell email addresses and say they have sent appointment cancellation emails. To clairify, these emails are sent 15 minutes before the appointment. The so called representative said the property has been removed from the market. If that is the case, then why waste our time with appointments. I strongly suspect this is click bait for properties not on their portfolio. Disgusting service from a fly by night quack estate agent.

The manager & staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. I mentioned I was disappointed with the photographs taken for a previous property I had sold and manager, Steve, came out with a drone & took the splendid photos himself
The office is well located in Oswestry & properties for sale are well displayed. I was away much of the time the bungalow was being marketed & there was always someone to come out to meet prospective buyers & show them round the property

Buyer beware! We had a negative experience with YourMove Broadstairs, after a drawn out 6 month process to purchase a property on Beacon Road the vendors pulled out on the day of exchange- we later found out this wasn't the first time they had cancelled a sale at the last minute.
Having been assured at least that the vendors would be blacklisted from using their services again, we now see the same property relisted with them less than 6 months later, for an increased price - anything for a bit of commission!!
Buyer beware.

223 Beacon Road, avoid vendors at all costs.

After offer accepted Nov 2025 to supposed exchange and completion April 2026, the vendors pulled out last minute. We were assured Your Move would blacklist the property from being sold through them.

Come Sept 2026, the property is back up. I urge you to avoid this property at all costs - the vendors had no intention to sell and wasted everyone's time and money.

We recently sold our house through Your Move and were very pleased with the service we received throughout the process.

The sale took a few months, and during that time the team worked closely with us to help generate interest in the property. We discussed changes to the property description and, when needed, agreed on a price reduction to help attract more buyers. We appreciated their advice and honest communication throughout.

A special mention goes to Joe from Nolan Throw Northampton town centre, who was always friendly, professional and extremely helpful. He was the member of the team we saw most often, carrying out viewings and showing potential buyers around our home. Joe did an excellent job explaining the property's features, answering questions and presenting the house in the best possible light. His enthusiasm and knowledge gave us confidence that viewers were getting a great impression of our home.

Selling a house can be a stressful experience, but Joe and the rest of the Your Move team were supportive and proactive throughout. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.

New Home Solutions used Your Move as part of Assisted Move for a new build. House is currently on the market correctly valued and then Your Move never even turned up to view our property but then low balled it 20-30k less. That’s dreadful service and would not use these cowboys! No effort to engage with the seller but expect us to take hit and they still get a pay out.

Amber Beherns , the veiwing agent was on time and well informed about the property and surroundings.
Pleasant and friendly, as was the first contact in their office.

Managed to get the house on the market a couple of days after contact. Kept us up to date at every stage and offered advice when required.

UPDATE – 10 September 2026:
Your Move has now responded publicly to my review and has acknowledged the concerns I raised, including issues relating to the tenancy agreement, background checks, property reports, communication, the exit fee and handling of the tenant’s deposit.

I appreciate the acknowledgement, however these issues remain unresolved. I have raised them through Your Move’s complaints process and subsequently escalated the matter, as I do not consider simply acknowledging these concerns to be a resolution.

My original review remains an accurate reflection of my experience as a landlord and the reasons for my dissatisfaction with the service.

If I could give 0 stars I would!
Stay clear of these!
1- let the tenants move in without a signed tenancy agreement.
2- never did a background check on the 2nd tenant.
3- sent us a property report which stated the time and date they visited the property (they never even stepped foot near the property)
4- no-one knew what was going on with the new tenancy act took weeks to get a response from them as to who was sending it out to the tenants.
5- hide the exit fee of £825+VAT
6- given that we want to leave as we have to trust or confidence in them- they are holding our tenant’s deposit as ‘hostage’ until we agree to pay the exit fee.
