Today for the first time went to YO in Tesco in Bidston on the Wirral and bought sushi plus Korean Chicken noodles. The sushi rice was awful , so dense and glutenous and totally tasteless, just awful. The Korean Chicken was SOOO sweet I had to stop eating it. The staff were awful, did not even ask if I needed any help choosing, more interested in bi…ching about another staff member in the Heswall branch. WHERE WAS THE SASHIMI.. too much sweet badly cooked rubbish.

Yo Sushi have lost the plot since covid. No more choosing food from the moving conveyor belt now you order through a QR code! Portion size has drastically dropped. A small bowl of (Chicken Teriyaki + Rice) came to 10 pounds. Before you used to have a plate of Chicken Teriyaki and a brown of Sushi Rice (not the cheap steamed jasmine rice but sweet vinegary sushi rice produced in Japan for about 6 pounds. Now it is a lump of unfavourable and what seemed burnt chicken smeared in a horrid sauce. The way Yo Sushi is treating customers now is making it head for administration and closing down.
Yo Sushi Bluewater
Yo Sushi Bluewater. What a sad experience! What has happened to the portion sizes? The salmon is transparent it’s sliced so thin. Pathetic to think you can fob customers off with this. So overpriced now and so not worth the money. All the telltale signs of a failing restaurant are in progress. Substituting large pieces of carrot in the seaweed salad, underweight pieces of sashimi, the restaurant was totally empty when we visited. The staff however are lovely but have all changed since my last visit showing that they’ve clearly seen the light and got out before the storm hits. So disappointing as this was my favourite restaurant.
SACK THE HEAD CHEF
The head chef (Scott) at the Trafford centre Manchester is an absolutely disgusting human with a vile attitude.
He shouts over the counter at the staff, Swears at them infront of customers but yet he’s the one who burnt every one of our dishes
The staff on the other hand are amazing and always have been. GET RID OF HIM NOW

Worst and poor service ever! Never advise YO sushi…. Especially in Mirdif branch👎🏻 foods are not fresh. Staff are rude. Very poor service 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Used to be so good. Not so much now
As many others have said the new way of ordering is shambolic. I hadn’t been for years and went to the Guildford branch today, the explanation of how it’s all done now was ridiculous and the waitress seemed to contradict herself every few seconds.
Couldn’t get my head round having to order and pay for every dish there and then - in multiple transactions, rather than choosing what I fancied and picking it off the conveyer belt and paying at the end - what’s the point of having the belt there?!
We had already taken 2 dishes off the belt so paid for those and left, went and had pizza at Franco Manca opposite, far better and friendlier service!
Won’t go back.
Just avoid, even tesco has better sushi
Firstly, Yo sushi used to be about experience of grabbing food out off the conveyor. But now they’ve replaced this with an online ordering system and conveyor only delivers your food after some time and thats it, it stays empty. Management is ridiculous and staff has visibly no pleasure working there.
Secondly, there is nothing to choose from, few meals, few sushi, and few deserts. In Leeds yo sushi menu is so limited it is ridiculous.
It is so overpriced, and products don’t meet quality. There is nothing about presentation, looks not appealing at all, food looks like made from days ago, missing ingredients, doesn’t look like in pictures at all.
What to change? Everything, because entire system is broken and food is absolutely terrible for the price they ask and service they deliver.
Oh and you also pay service fee for every order, even tho there is no service.
Wasted journey to Holbeach Tesco
New store in Holbeach Tesco.
All the sushi was smothered in mayonnaise. When asked if had any without they said no and I'm not making more... One sad boy who was deserving of a treat for doing so well at school ruined... Shame on you! Thank fully Co-op came to the rescue and gave him a chocolate bar for being a polite young man and doing well at school.

We visited the swindon outlet Yo Sushi and although the dishes seemed to differ from other Yo our attendant Alex was great. Hands on, accommodating and very friendly!
Oh No!
First visit post covid - everything that was great about Yo has now left the building. Thefood was tasteless the glasses were dirty and plastic zero atmosphere. The staff were good and apologised but we left after 2 dishes unfinished. We were told they had received many complaints and were changing the business model in a few weeks. Hopefully not too late.
Never come back!!
Im forget the last time i do enjoy come over for lunch. The selection menu just rubbish. Not many like it used to. They used to have so many variety on table run. Instead now just orderly by app. Sushi rice was hard taste weird. Salmon not fresh & I req for refill my Misso never come back. Staff so under presure dull ambience. Im broke up with u yo!!!
Go there if you want to eat the worst…

This is the branch in hednesford Tesco. Warning do not eat anything from here unless you want food poisoning my son has been violently sick few hours after eating there ready meal pack. We have been back to complain just to be told it was a bad batch lol trouble customer service and Tesco should bin them off as they'll get a bad reviews too poor

Come essere truffati e non saperlo... Ci pensa Yo Sushi!
Mi son fermato a mangiare in aeroporto a Istanbul, e penso che sia l'ultima volta che mi fermo su questa catena... Prezzi folli e non segnati da nessuna parte, o almeno hanno messo un cartellino su ogni coppetta che girava sul nastro, con su scritto un indicazione numerica, che poteva coincidere con il prezzo... Per esempio 3 pezzetti di sushi 2€... In realtà è semplicemente una truffa!! Una coppetta con 3 pezzi di sushi è costata quasi 15€, per un prezzo finale di più di 100€!! Se non volete essere truffati anche voi, non andate in questo posto.
Filthy and overpriced
Won’t be back. First time at Yo Sushi Edinburgh. The waitress that greeted us was lovely. The view of Edinburgh castle was amazing. But paint peeling off the walls and ceiling, crispy gyozas, ordering on the mobile app was glitchy so took a long time to order drinks, toilets filthy and hand dryer hanging off the wall. Pretty basic sushi and over priced. £40 quid for a child and an adult. £12 for a poke bowl with processed chicken. Awful.
