Fantastic service, we were travelling from Kent which was a 5 hour journey on the train up and the communication and service was exceptional made us feel so much better and the car was perfect! Even charged it to 100% for us as they knew we would be driving 5 hours back!

Really impressed with Wynyard Motor Company and would happily recommend them.

We had agreed to purchase a Volvo XC90 and had even paid a deposit and booked flights to travel up and collect it. Before collection, they discovered an issue with the car and were completely upfront and honest with us about it. Rather than just letting us travel up and selling us the car, they told us they weren’t happy letting it go with the fault.

Obviously we were disappointed not to get the XC90, but you can’t ask for much more from a car dealer than that level of honesty. They refunded our deposit and even covered the cost of the flights we’d already booked.

A genuinely great experience despite not actually ending up buying the car. I’d have no hesitation buying from them in the future. Thanks again!

I recently purchased a 2024 Audi Q8 from Wynyard, and I couldn’t be happier with both the car and the service I received.
Shaun was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I had a few minor queries after the purchase, and Shaun dealt with them very quickly and professionally, which gave me a lot of confidence that I’d made the right decision.

WARNING!!! - I purchased a Tesla Model 3 from Wynyard Motor Company and it soon became apparent that filler-based polish had been applied to the paintwork prior to sale to very cleverly conceal its true condition.
Two independent assessments were subsequently carried out, the second by a Tesla-approved repairer, who identified substantial undisclosed damage and substandard repairs across seven panels confirmed by paint thickness measurements. The conclusion was that the vehicle had previously been involved in at minimum a side-impact collision, none of which was disclosed at the point of sale and was skilfully concealed.
I formally rejected the vehicle within the 30-day statutory period under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Wynyard refused to accept the rejection, and despite months of correspondence and multiple independent assessments this matter remains unresolved and is now in the hands of my solicitor.
Aftersales is a joke, they completely ghosted me and will not take my complaint seriously.
I would strongly urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Wynyard Motor Company to obtain a thorough independent inspection prior to purchase and to scrutinise the condition of the paintwork carefully. The way they have deceived me is truly astounding.

Edit: Tesla approved body shop quoted over £5,500.00 plus vat (£6,600.00) to bring the paintwork up to a satisfactory condition.

Had been looking for an M3 Touring for some time and when I saw that Wynyard were offering a great colour combination and spec that had only been advertised that day I put a £100 deposit down on the car as I'd recently lost out on another car and didn't want to lose out again.
The next day I spoke with Michael via WhatsApp and given I live around 280 miles away I wanted to get as good a sense of the car as possible before travelling to the dealership. He was able to provide me with all the service history, a video walkaround of the car plus other details - all requests were answered promptly.
We also discussed a part exchange price on my M4 Comp (which I coincidentally purchased from Wynyard a year or so ago and had a pleasurable experience dealing with them on that occasion also) and I was offered a very fair number.
Both Sean and Michael were great to deal with. Very straightforward sales/part exchange process and I'm very happy with my new car.
Based on my experience with Wynyard, I would highly recommend!

I Travelled over from Northern Ireland so was A little nervous, but had no reason to be. Michael answered all my questions before id hit the ferry. Sean was very easy to talk to, car hand over was effortless. Car tax sorting on site and I was only there for about an hour, 30 minutes of that was just me looking around my new car.
I would definitely travel over from Northern Ireland and buy another car from them, no worries

I recently bought a v8 F Type from this company. From the start, I found Michael and Sean easy to deal with, up front, never pushy and always suggestive when it came to overcoming some minor issues to get the deal done.

I bought BMW 9months ago, the garage refurbished the wheels and lacquered them black. After washing the wheels the lacquer has come off. I spoke to the after care team and they said it was my fault for using jet wash on the wheels. I asked if the garage used a jet wash to wash wheel and they said yes. Terrible excuse felt like I was fobbed off. If the wheels were refurbed properly then the lacquer would not have came off, or the could have powder coated the wheels. Shoddy job all round. Their loss, I won’t be back!!!

I dealt with a member of the sales team called Michael, was interested in driving the BMW 320i, I was in the process of looking at the car, he refused to let me test drive it unless I was ready to buy it. How can I possibly consider to even buy a car without test driving it, I even asked for a 60 month quote for a HP finance agreement, he muttered ufff under his breath, I felt belittled. Would never consider buying car from there, if I have to deal with people like that. Lost out out on potential because his attitude stinks.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.

Last year, I purchased a Range Rover from Wynyard motors, what a mistake that was, Within a year, the car has been to the garage 3 times for different faults, costing me a fortune to fix.

Selling a faulty car and leaving the buyer to deal with the consequences is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend Wynyard Motors to anyone.

I regret ever buying a car from this garage. Within just 60 days of owning the vehicle, the armrest snapped while I was simply using it for its intended purpose — resting my arm on it. When I contacted the garage, instead of honouring their responsibilities, they claimed I had “admitted to breaking it” just by saying I used it.

That’s nonsense. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, anything sold must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and last a reasonable length of time. An armrest should not break in less than two months under normal use. The garage’s refusal to deal with this shows a total disregard for both their customers and their legal obligations.

Their attitude left me feeling ignored, blamed, and completely unsupported. If this is how they treat a simple fault, I dread to think how they would handle something serious.

Future customers beware: once they have your money, don’t expect fairness, accountability, or basic customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I would . I bought a car 4.5 month ago from this garage had nothing but chew with the car overall think it’s 9 times it’s been in and out the garage since buying it . after sales who talk down to you! No customer service skills at all! They don’t give a toss once you drive away in the car! All you get is we will call you back and then don’t and the once or twice they did they speak snotty to you! Latest problem with it lost all the suspension on the rear end of the bmw x5 Told me my warranty had ran out and I would have to pay for them to fix it ….which I did costing me £672 ! Within the space of 2 weeks my car was in and out of the garage another 3 times with a warning light now on that only appeared since them supposedly fixing the suspension problem so now not only have I still got no suspension I now have a warning light on my dash also which makes the car kangaroo up the road . And still to this day not fixed and there wanting me to take it back in and charge me yet again to try fix it when they obviously haven’t got a clue on what’s actually wrong with the car and expect me to just keep flinging money out my own pocket at it ! All the times they have had the car trying to fix it they offer no courtesy car or nothing so taxis back n forth to work school runs day to day running about they just don’t care ! Absolute joke of a garage ! Stay clear if ya don’t want ya eyes ripped out !! Don’t buy from this garage wouldn’t want anyone else gettin ripped off !

highly recommend if you need a car with no high pressure sales. I have just purchased my 3rd car from Wynyard Motors and as I seriously cant rate them high enough. They helped me even set up my insurance and tax. The after sales is spot on and I know i can confidently call for any advice from them. All my cars have been perfect. *****
