This is a follow up on a review written in this site a few weeks back by my daughter in law Rebecca in Leeds. Wren ripped out their entire kitchen on Thursday 2nd July. There were issues with the delivery of all the parts for the new kitchen being delivered which should have been anticipated by the design team, so after a day of work the installation team stopped work on 7th July. Since then Wren have been utterly useless. This professional young couple have had no water downstairs, no sink, no cooking facilities and no fridge. They are having to buy food daily or eat take aways, wash up in the bath (next to the toilet!). This morning all hope was pinned on an installation team finally arriving to sort everything and one man has turned up having been told he is to install a worktop.

Wren, this is disgusting, appalling, dreadful customer service. Where is the Field Rep you promised would sort this (who was off until 3rd August!)? Why oh why would you think it is okay to fob off this young couple who are spending in excess of £12k with you? They have been on to you every single day and have had promises, promises but no action. We visited them this weekend and the conditions they are having to live in are practically third world. You must rectify this - and anyone reading this, avoid Wren like the plague. They do not care about their customers at all. No empathy for the situation, passing responsibility from pillar to post with no action.
You can’t give no stars on here but they deserve that.

I Kvetkovska did a fantastic job during our kitchen measure. The process was clearly explained via an initial call on the morning of our measure and a precise time given. During the measure every thing was well communicated and the purpose of each step was well explained. Once all the initial questions were covered we were able to carry on with other jobs at home whilst the measure was completed in about 30 mins. Finally a design appointment was booked for us. Now looking forward to going into store to do the design.

R Barkley, arrived promptly, on time and was very friendly and efficient. Measured up the room, quickly and was on his way. Answered any questions we had and advised that someone from Wren would follow up. Overall a great experience with no complaints from us.

He explained everything he was doing and answered any questions. He also put back anything he had to move.

Difficult journey with Wren from the start. First salesperson kept changing things on the design to get the cost down but wasn’t explaining things properly so we changed to another showroom and team. Second salesperson did the same and this resulted in us having no pop ups in our quartz worktop as he removed them by mistake and forgot to add them back in. The hob is also off centre to the back wall oven and looks awful. With a big renovation going on in the house I trusted wren to design and supply a lovely kitchen and in all honesty I’m very disappointed. Customer service is impossible to get hold of and once the showroom has taken your money it’s impossible to get a response from them either. Wouldn’t recommend

My kitchen should have been completed in three days but 6 weeks on it’s still not completed. I’ve had a dreadful experience from the day of delivery when worktops were missing. Delivery drivers said it’s probably coming on a different van (after initially saying I hadn’t ordered any till I showed receipt. One person brought in all the two man lift heavy items. He did apologise for the banging this invoked explaining his mate was being sick on the pavement a few doors up. I called gloucester store as this was purchase store, saying the fitter was coming in 2 days and was reassured worktops can be here in couple days. Fitter removed all the kitchen and on day two had to leave as he couldn’t door any more, five days off work for nothing. This left me with no water downstairs for over 10 days and as property was tiny I was trying to drink and wash up using bath water upstairs . Wren could not be less interested. Fitter moved onto other jobs and I was left in the first heat wave over 30 degrees with no tap water to access. 6 weeks on I’m still being fobbed off, every e mail takes 7 days for reply then every call is 40 minutes on hold. I’m awaiting a resolution and compensation but each time I’m moved to different departments- currently with ‘snagging’. I’ve had to take three separate lots of leave to accommodate the missing and damaged items being delivered all different days and there is no is no appreciation some of us have to work full time. Gloucester branch washed their hands of it once they realised the delivery team were not going to deliver the tops for 10 days. I would not touch them again. Once a resolution is offered I’m happy to amend the review to reflect this but I think they accept some buyers will be let down by them and with the prices they charge That’s ok. Btw the fitter said he gets paid a third of what they charge the customer! Get your own fitter if you decide to take a gamble on Wren.

Today’s visit went exactly as planned. I received a call from S Heggie ahead of arrival which was in the time slot allocated. I had many questions during the visit (as I always do!) of which all of them were answered. I am yet to move in so I know very little about the property and he was very helpful in locating the meters etc. so thank you for making the process an easy one.
