I opted in for the free trial, I couldn't see any prices unless I paid in full for the month. Well what's the point of a free trial? I've had nothing but a disappointing experience with these guys, I won't ever let my friends or family even think about utilizing this site. Save contacting me back worthpoint, I am appalled at what I just went through today and nothing more than a true free trial would fix it.

legitimate, but their free 7x7 is fake
Their website is legitimate & you can see past sale prices on art with descriptions just as advertised, but their 7 day or 7 views being free isn't real. As soon as you pay for the subscription they charge you, which I get b/c your accessing their database, which isn't free. If you want to see past sale prices you must pay for the $47 full access subscription & not the $28 subscription. They wouldn't get bad reviews if they just allowed you to pay a one time fee for the item you want to see.

From the sound of it, we aren’t 100% sure if you selected the Price Guide Premium, which is 28.99 monthly, or if you selected M.A.P.S. (Marks, Autographs, Patterns, and Symbols) and Library features. The Marks and Library subscription, which is 27.99, provides strictly research and no pricing. The Price Guide Premium package provides the sales price data.

Customer Service Absolutely Useless
I inadvertently had two PAID subscriptions going with this company. Since they were due on different dates I didn't pick up on it right away. When I asked for a refund for the unused subscription they said I "abused" the free trial offers and so they weren't going to help me. I don't see anywhere where it states you can't have more than one free trial. I have had TWO paid accounts since December of 2021. Pretty loyal customer and they told me to scram!
Customer Service is a huge part of any online business. There are other sites to look things up. Stay away from Worthpoint if you don't want to be treated like dirt!
This company needs to realise no matter how good their product, their SERVICE is a complete horror story.

After investigating the account information, our records show that on 9/10/21, an account was created with the email address Bxxxxxxxolxxxs@xxxxx.com, and was canceled and refunded per phone call on 6/28/23. Via the recorded call, we discovered an additional account created with the email address csxxxxxxnsxt@xxxxx.com. It was created on 11/27/21. We concluded via the call that the account associated with the email address csxxxxxxnsxt@xxxxx.com would remain active; at your request.
When we received your email on 8/10/23, we canceled the subscription as requested. The account associated with the email address csxxxxxxnsxt@xxxxx.com was provided with a refund on 8/10/23.

I have no idea who these people are but…
I have no idea who these people are but somehow they have my credit card number and are charging my card for services I never ordered. Now they want more information about my review, I don't know what else to say. I never opened an account with them and will never do business with them. Yet they continue to charge my credit card through a bogus Paypal account. This is an obvious case of fraud that they couldn't care less about.

Very poor customer service---5 attempts to cancel a 7 day free trial have all been ignored and we are out of options.
My sister and I signed up for the free trial. After only looking up a couple of items we got locked out of her account. We reached out to ask for help and no one got back to us. We then decided that our trial was running out and we needed to simply cancel it for now. I have spent way too much time on hold on the phone,, then writing to the email address suggested on the phone call to use if you need to talk to someone ASAP, then leaving a phone message, and finally opening 2 cases----all in the span of 1 week. I have asked them to cancel the free trial membership and to notify us so we know it was done, which is what responsible people want to know. That should be a simple process for any company that knowingly offers 7 day free trials. My sister is a nervous wreck that that they have her credit card number and won't respond to us. I am terribly disappointed in this company that I thought could be helpful to us, and also very frustrated. I don't know what else to do right now, but I have been documenting everything and will take legal action if they try to charge her card. The sad thing is all someone needed to do was cancel the membership and notify us that it was done. I thought Worthpoint was a legitimate business but now worry we have been scammed, as no reputable business has such poor customer service and ignores 5 attempts by a customer to cancel a 7 day trial in a timely way. Our free trial ended yesterday.
**Edited to add that the day after this review posted as well as the opening of another case, my sister did receive notification from Worthpoint that her account had been cancelled and they were sorry to see her go. So the issue has been taken care of, which is a relief. We are still terribly frustrated by the entire experience and disappointed with the overall poor communication we received from Worthpoint.

Won't respond to contact attempts
I subscribed to get prices of what items had sold for in the past. I used to have this service and that's how I had used it in the past. But after re-signing up, i would search for an item for the prices it had sold for and there are no prices shown. After several attempts to contact them, I cancelled. The phone number does not work. They don't respond to email messages on their contact form. Very disappointing.

False advertising
False advertising. I’m glad I have enough sense to research a company before agreeing to a free trial in which I need to put sensitive information online. Right under their pricing guide it says “buy and sell with confidence.” After looking online for a vintage toy for my daughter I stumbled upon it here, I was about to try it free and after reading the companies very own response to a review you CANNOT buy and sell on their web/app. Very misleading while trying to decipher payment terms. Why even have these pop up and make it look as if they’re available for purchase unless it’s a scam to unwittingly take peoples money through ACH every month, I mean how often do people remember to cancel. And how often do people need to price stuff. So annoying.

why are you taking $30-$35 per month from my credit card??. I did not authorize this and I would like a refund now please. Just spoke to "customer service". They have been taking this fee since 2019! For a $300 watch I looked at once. Shame on me for not paying attention but this is a SCAM. They send a letter full of useless sales pitches and included in the nonsense is the reminder that the "membership" is automatically renewing. AND, they won't give the money back. Total ripoff.

After investigating the account information, our records show that on 4/10/2019, the account under the email address dxxxxx@txxxx.xxx initiated the “Price Guide Premium” subscription for $22.99 monthly. Each subscription provides a free trial. Our free trial is 7 lookups or 7 days, whichever comes first. If the subscription is not canceled, the subscription will begin. Since the trial was never canceled, a subscription started on 04/17/2019, and continued to bill on the 17th of each month until we spoke with you on 6/19/23. We canceled the subscription at your request and provided a refund.

***** Was contacted by Worthpoint and they were able to clarify an issue and provided a partial refund.***** I went to this site to try to get the price for an item. I had to pay in order to see that the item wasn't exactly what I was looking for so the price shown didn't really matter to me. I noticed now that they've started charging me a regular monthly fee for nothing. I can't even log in to their site to see my account settings. Their site can't seem to find my email address. I emailed them about this and am hoping to get the charges stopped and returned.

Worthpoint's New App Version is Terrible
Worthpoint, after their new version of the app rolled out, is basically worthless. The new app is horrible. Doesn't work with biometrics, login doesn't work right half the time, which leads to Worthpoint "locking" your account, which you can only get unlocked by contacting them during business hours. App logs you out (times out) faster than any of my banking or brokerage apps. I've been a customer for almost 15 years.

Worthless Google search results
I don't understand why Worthpoint items keep clogging up searches for items to buy, when you can't buy anything from Worthpoint.
If i want to know what something is worth I would certainly want to consult Worthpoint. But when I am merely searching for something to buy I do not want lots of Worthpoint ads showing up in my search results as if there are items for sale.

I have been a worthpoint customer for…
I have been a worthpoint customer for over 10 years. It has been invaluable to me. But, recently they “updates” their app and it is TERRIBLE! I have needed to call customer service numerous times to have my account unlocked. The app says it will use facial recognition but it does not then asked me to log in again. I am extremely frustrated with worthpoint right now. Please fix it!

I used the free trial once
I used the free trial once. Was signed up on an auto renewal. Didn’t realize it. Never used it after the one time. Received no communications from the company at all. They simply too their monthly subscription fee for several years. Until I noticed it on my credit card bill. Who knows if the service is good or not? All I know is that they scammed me out of a chunk of money based of a self renewing auto subscription I didn’t even realize I signed up for. Any other company I ever did a free trial on sent numerous messages about auto renewals. They also sent updates on how the service was upgraded. Or promote when I hadn’t logged in for a while. This app sent me NOTHING. Just quietly took my money. Should be criminal.

It should be called eBay Worthpoint
It should be called eBay Worthpoint. I think with a title such as worthpoint it would include other sites (Mercari, Poshmark, Esty, etc. 99% or the comps are eBay. Granted they do go back aways but not true of what is out there. I still have to research the other sites to get a good price range. I think it is deceptive to indicate they use multiple sites.
