Bought Adjustable Hook and Band Gate hinges ,Padbolts and Ring Gate latches for 2 garden gates I had made.
Perfectly set them off and the adjustable nature of the hinges made them very easy to fit on existing posts which were not aligned or vertical.
Videos on the website were very informative and to a beginner like me, very useful.

Having purchased 2 No. pairs of Adjustable Hook and Band Hinges from Inwood (Cymru ) Ltd, I spoke to Jon to ask his advice and recommendation on the size of the hinges in relation to the gates being fitted.
He was extremely helpful and very courteous, and recommended the use of slightly larger hinges, however, he suggested that we fit the hinges I ordered and if found to be inadequate, he offered to replace them with the larger size.
The service offered was in my opinion exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend Inwood to friends and colleagues.

I would certainly not recommend this retailer; I emailed asking a simple question regarding the measurement of a hinge. “Jon” was very unhelpful and told me that the manufacturer did not produce a spec sheet. When I asked him if he could possibly measure one physically he quite arrogantly replied: “As the manufacturers say these can vary then no I'm not prepared to.” I subsequently went elsewhere and got the exact measurement I required and found the item at a much better price.

Jon's first email stated “Of the above we only have the galv in stock and we are down to our last pair of these” That pair would have done nicely. I was NOT “after measurements of hinges that I had already told you were out of stock.” My original mail did not state whether I required galv or otherwise.

I stated the size I wanted on my FIRST email. I rest my case and repeat “I would certainly not recommend this retailer”.

Very prompt service! The Reliance garage door holders arrived very quickly and were expertly packed. Now that they’re fitted I can see why a friend could confidently recommend them to me.
It was nice to support a small UK firm who were more than able to compete on product, price and delivery.

I needed some guidelines and reference material on how best to install a heavy duty gate system including hardware, the gate and steel posts (each weighing between 40 - 50Kgs). I found superb reference videos on Youtube, and subsequently the Inwood website a Gate fitting guide, ALL of which was easy to understand for the DIYer. I ordered a pair of Gatemate 18" Adjustable Hook & Band hinges (Black Galvanised), 200mm Brenton Padbolt and a Handle, all of which was reasonable priced and worth the spend given the reference material available. products arrived within 3 days and installed - I was not disappointed. One point worth noting which i have not read about - The hinge precision eye bolts may in some cases be too long and fowl the hook plate hinge hardware - we ground them off to a more suitable length. Excellent all round service.

After a less than satisfactory experience with one of the Big online hardware retailers I then ordered 600mm adjustment gate hinges from Inwood.... what a relief! Great customer service and a great product. They were very helpful when it came time to make my choice and the hinges are in place now and doing a cracking job!!

Placed an order for an adjustable hook and band gate hinges on 17 July 2020 and received it on 20th July so great service. Product is very good quality. The guides on the website are really useful and worth reading if you're fitting the hinge yourself. I needed a bit of advice about fitting mine and the company were happy to help when I telephoned.

Purchased the long throw gate /door lock and it met all my expectations easy to fit good value and a prompt delivery will definitely use Inwood again and recommend to others
