Disgusting firm of solicitors - should all be struck off. Bunch of bloodsucking, lying, thieving, unprincipled, parasites with absolutely no conscience or sense of professionalism. Basically a bunch of gangsters. They represented the Post Office so that tells you everything you need to know. Whole firm should be struck off. Avoid at all costs.

I submitted a complaint against their employee (Fin Boyce)- currently a trainee solicitor who harassed me continuously. But my complaint was ignored. This law firm is a protector of predators! I am disgusted

Did not reply or regard any of my emails concerning the completion of my online assessments in order to work for the organization as a apprentice.

Absolute muppets causing people to get further into debt, emails are basically pay up or your in more trouble, these idiots need investigating and I will be seeking advice on how to take this further. Won’t listen when you can’t afford the forced payment plan on you, it’s either the amount they say or they will increase your debt with threatening court action increasing your debt by hundreds of pounds, because of these muppets I have missed mortgage payments, I hope they rot in hell……..

Utterly Incompetent and Unprofessional
If I could give 0 stars, I would. My experience with Womble Bond Dickinson has been nothing short of a nightmare. I was unfortunate enough to be dealing with a solicitor named Lorna, whose level of incompetence, miscommunication, and blatant disregard for facts is frankly staggering.

Despite repeated requests for transparency and clarity regarding a fabricated charge issued by a managing agent, Lorna provided contradictory, evasive, and ultimately baseless responses. She reclassified a single £195 charge three different times – first as a legal fee, then as ground rent, and finally as an administration fee for an alleged breach of lease. Not once could she provide any evidence or documentation to support these reclassifications. Eventually, the charge was quietly waived, which only confirms that it had no legal foundation in the first place.

At one point, my service charge account was even restricted—without any notice or justification—as a deliberate obstruction, preventing me from accessing crucial documents. Instead of acknowledging this clear procedural failure, Lorna doubled down with dismissive emails and refused to admit any wrongdoing.

This firm seems to rely on intimidation tactics, sloppy case management, and gaslighting, rather than actual legal merit. The entire experience was emotionally exhausting, riddled with contradictions, and a complete violation of my rights under the lease agreement.

If you are seeking representation or expect a solicitor to act with integrity, professionalism, and basic competence — WBD is not the firm for you.

I am now escalating this entire matter to the Housing Ombudsman and First-tier Tribunal, where I will be providing every piece of communication to highlight WBD’s clear mishandling and disregard for both legal and ethical standards.

Avoid this firm at all costs.

Dealing with Kian Jackson at the Newcastle branch has been the worst experience - I really advise people to look elsewhere for a more empathetic and capable company

Unfortunately I haven’t been receiving post about paying service charges on a property I own. I’ve been emailing back and forth to try and find out what these charges are as the service charge has gone from £72 up to £400 - only to be ignored but sent email after email asking me to sign a declaration so they could get the money off my mortgage company.

I eventually rang when I got some time as I’d just had a baby, fair enough this was my issue but the horrible attitude and smugness from this person was just wrong.

No empathy, no calming the situation - just threatening if I don’t pay by a certain date they will be taking legal action.

No customer service skills - someone else should be employed to deal with real people with real financial issues, rather than someone who doesn’t really care about their job or how they speak to people.

Gangsters. Not a moral fibre between the lot of them. Surprised they still going after wrecking people's lives

Terrible company, standing up for British Gas to help them lie to customers and take money from them. If you take British Gas to court this firm will do all it can to ensure you pay even more money out.

From looking into things this same company profited massively in the post office scandal. Hopefully the papers will start to get wind of all this

absolutely disgusting how they treat vulnerable people. despite being informed that my mother has Alzheimer's and is in a care home, therefore we are going for the legal power of attorney process to get access, they still continue to send threatening legal letters and emails. Despite the fact this should have never have come to them as a debt dispute as the company they work with firstport was already aware my mum had moved to a care home with Alzheimer's meaning her accounts are Legally frozen until LPA process has been completed and therefore 1 bill will be missed until the LPA process has regained access, this was still sent to this deplorable debt collection/legal organisation. disgusting how they treat the vulnerable even after being given the facts and information, they're still demanding payment and adding further legal fees. absolutely disgusting behaviour

Womble Bond Dickinson would do well to employ "SIR ALAN BATES" as their ethics advisor. SIR Alan Bates has more integrity in his little finger than any of those so far interrogated "under oath" during the Horizon inquiry.

Just been watching a partner of this firm lie and deflect about his role in bullying sub post masters into misery, poverty, illness and death.

If he represents this firm, you need to stay away.

It will be interesting to know if this guy will be disciplined for his abhorrent remarks about innocent postmasters/mistresses.

Do not use this firm - they were one of the legal outfits defending the Post Office in the Horizon scandal
