As someone who values precious family time and invests considerable effort into planning memorable vacations, I cannot emphasize enough the sheer incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction exhibited by WIMCO, the so-called "luxury" travel agency.

Our eagerly anticipated trip to Saint Barthelemy, meticulously planned over months, turned into a nightmare solely due to WIMCO's utter failure to fulfill their promises. Despite booking well in advance and confirming every detail, including a luxurious villa to accommodate our family, WIMCO managed to single-handedly ruin our vacation.

Just hours before our departure, we received a distressing email informing us of the cancellation of our villa reservation due to nearby construction noise. This wasn't just an inconvenience; it was a devastating blow to our long-awaited reunion. The suggested alternatives provided by WIMCO were a laughable insult to the standard we had paid for. Shabby accommodations with obstructed views and minimal amenities were offered as replacements, demonstrating a blatant disregard for our expectations.

The lack of accountability displayed by WIMCO's representative, Bobbi Owen, was appalling. Instead of taking responsibility for their oversight and ensuring a satisfactory resolution, we were met with excuses and empty apologies. It's inconceivable that a reputable travel agency would fail to monitor ongoing construction activities near their managed properties, let alone inform clients at the eleventh hour.

To add insult to injury, WIMCO presented us with a ludicrous ultimatum: accept subpar accommodations at full price or postpone our trip for up to a year. Such inflexibility is both unreasonable and impractical for working individuals with limited vacation time. Despite investing over $15,000 in this vacation, WIMCO's callous attitude left us without recourse and without a vacation.

The absence of a refund further highlights WIMCO's disregard for customer satisfaction and basic decency. This experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths, tarnishing what should have been a joyous occasion with loved ones. It's evident that WIMCO prioritizes profit over customer well-being, making them unworthy of any traveler's trust.

In conclusion, I implore anyone considering WIMCO for their travel needs to steer clear. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and financial loss by choosing a reputable agency that values its customers. WIMCO's abysmal service and lack of accountability have cost us not only a vacation but also precious time with family. They are the epitome of unprofessionalism and incompetence.

In summary: WIMCO is straight garbage. Avoid at all costs.

Used Wimco this year and last. No issues. When flights were cancelled from St Barths due to wind, they pulled out the stops (admittedly in a somewhat chaotic way) to get us (and others) a boat to SXM. No complaints,

DO NOT work with Wimco. Their information is inaccurate and their staff does not give or have correct information about their locations. We have essentially been defrauded and spent THOUSANDS based on completely false information. Please do your family a favor and book elsewhere.

Wimco was very attentive and went the extra mile in helping us with our accommodations in St. Barts. They met us at the airport, escorted us to our villa, and delivered a breakfast package the next morning.

Wimco has some of the best properties for SBH, but more than properties, the staff and service level is second to none. Ben W. is a rockstar and has taken care of my villa booking for years and I have never had better service anywhere. The people on the island are also outstanding, Max and friends have taken care of us over and over again at levels that make you feel like you are family when you're with them.

I am a frequent traveller and often times opt to rent a villa, apartment or house over hotels. I enjoy the freedom and space that these offer. Unfortunately, my worst 2 experiences have been with WIMCO St. Barth. The start was at the airport when their agent Max asked if we minded taking our luggage ourselves to the villa. On a recent trip I emailed with a powerless and inept manager Laurent Edery multiple times a day to intiate on an air conditioning unit in our villa that resulted in 5 nights of poor sleep. At times the room temperature was higher than the outside temperature. The villa manager and Laurent Edery stated several times that the air conditioning was in perfect order but I had temperature readings from an electronic device that was in the room. Very unpleasant and very unprofessional. The luxury villa rental market is very competitive and I would suggset that other companies who cover this market are more professional, responsive to clients requests and add a nice personal touch unlike WIMCO.

We had s great time in villa Wild Cherry on Grace Bay beach in Provo. The villa was everything we had hoped for, clean, modern, private and convenient to everything. What really blew us away was how great the snorkeling was right off the beach in front of the villa...sea turtles, manta rays, huge angel fish and so much more. Our agent Michael steered us in the right direction for the villa, the flights, and for places to eat. We loved Somewhere cafe,and Da Conch Shack. All good here. Looking forward to going back again soon.
