Kitchens nightmare.

While our design process was great with Lisa, the after service has been nothing but a disgrace. We purchased a kitchen and chose not to get an installer on the promise all plans would be given, HOW WRONG WE WERE.

When requesting the full design plan we were told there are no instructions and fitters will fit according to their own preference, in addition we should come in store and view the displays to see how they are fitted.

Total rubbish advice if you ask me, as if that were the case then it baffles me how the kitchen was ever designed.

Unfortunately not our first dealing with the man in the design team, incredibly rude human who once told me he couldn't assist with a small design change and I should know its the weekend and they would be busy.

Went with a lot of questions on painting internal cupboard doors and repairing holes. Brian listened and was able to guide me as to what to do and help find all I needed to do the jobs. Thank you

Would give zero stars if I could, DO NOT use this company. Every stage has been a nightmare, total lack of communication and no follow through on what they say they will do. I am having a bathroom installation, first of all they cancelled my delivery but did not tell me so I was waiting in all day for a delivery that never came. When I chased this up, they say because they cancelled the delivery there was no longer anyone assigned to my project to tell me about it! My property is 1st floor and delivery is only kerb side, fine, they told me they would make sure the shower screen (very heavy) would only be delivered when the contractor was on site so there was someone there to carry it up to my property. I get a text message one evening saying something was being delivered the following morning, does not say what and there was no time to contact them. Turns out it was the shower screen so my partner and I had to struggle to get it up the stairs ourselves. It was then left taking up most of my living room for weeks as we did not yet have a start date for the installation. Once the work started, they ripped out my bathroom on the first day, all good ... but then due to various delays and no shows it took 5 weeks for the bathroom to be installed. 5 weeks without a shower. Little communication from the contractor, I was constantly chasing for updates on when they might turn up. This is a huge disruption when I have to organise working from home, which often turned out to be needless as they did not show up. Calling the customer experience got me no where, they promised to look into things then never got back to me. Once the bathroom was installed within 3 days the shower has stopped working! I am still without a shower (6 weeks now!) and am being passed from pillar to post, they keep saying they will update me but never get back to me. Each person I speak to doesn't seem to have knowledge of what is wrong or what they will do about it, they just tell me they are going to do the exact same thing the previous person said but did not. My complaint (submitted on 15th July) seems to be ignored and brushed off. They say they cannot address my complaint until the work is finished, but my complaint is in large part that the work isn't getting finished. I have no faith in Wickes, do not use them under any circumstances, it is the worst experience I have ever had, even moving homes was not this stressful.

I used Wickes bathroom installation services - bathroom supplied by wickes and they also arrange the installer. Have had an issue with water leaking from a pump which required claiming against the guarantee. Wickes have washed their hands of the issue claiming it has nothing to do with them because I paid the installer for the pump - an installer I did not choose. I’m now left to chase the installer who has not been helpful at all. Wouldn’t recommend their services as there is no support when something goes wrong.

Went in to find a cheap solution to raise a temporary air con unit off the floor. Brian went to great lengths to help me find a workable solution and then helped carry the kit to the car. Also he actively offered help rather than waiting for me to find a staff member.

Went in to get some door furniture and had a question about a lock. Brian there not only helped me, but helped me bring my goods to the car. Excellent customer journey and experience.

We required our dowstairs WC to be modernised and the Bathroom & WC upstairs to be combined into one room. Wickes builder, Mariyan, quoted six weeks to complete both jobs - and that was how long he took. He worked over some weekends and two bank holidays just to keep the project on track. He is a very capable tradesman and is backed up by a comptent team led by our designer, Lisa.
Mariyan takes a great deal of pride in his work and even came up with a few great ideas of his own. I can't emphasise enough what a great job he and his son Nick have done.

We are very happy with the end product and would be more than happy to use wickes again.

Went to Wickes with a paint problem and was helped by Toby who guided me to exactly what I needed. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Couldn’t ask for more.

I was helped by Brian and Alex who brought new stock from the warehouse and were very friendly and helpful. Great customer service!

2 bewildered customers were beautifully looked after by Ken at the Woking branch. He was endlessly patient in walking us through the project and his many years of experience shone. Also a mention to Zoe who was helpful on our original visit. Thank you

I was looking for material for an art project and experienced excellent customer service from your employee Brian! He seemed genuinely interested and helped me consider various options with a friendly and polite manner, he even me to take a picture of the completed project so he can see it on my next visit. Many thanks Brian the positive interaction made my day :)

The products we bought on click and collect were all as expected. The reason for my review is due to the staff member at the Woking branch called Jazz. She was excellent at customer service. We arrived early for our click and collect and Jazz went round and gathered all of what we ordered. Even bringing back a suggestion of an alternative for something that was out of stock. We then asked for something extra which she went and got for us. The store was very busy but Jazz remained calm and focused, she was very helpful and polite, well mannered and professional. A credit to Wickes. Well done Jazz.

Visited to have a wallpaper sample colour matched. Mohammed asked good questions and saved me a small fortune by advising that a sampler pot of paint would be sufficient. Great stuff

Brian was extremely helpful . He found the item I needed from the storeroom behind the shop and explained how it’s used . Thank you for your service !

Great service and a fantastic fitter. Shruti was so helpful in designing our bathroom and sorting any issues re delivery and out of stocks. And Florin (CF Improvements) was superb.
When our old bathroom was stripped out, issues with historic leaks emerged (rotten floorboards and joists) Florin was wonderful in rebuilding and fitting the room and the additional costs were all very fair and reasonable. Would thoroughly recommend.
