Wickes - Warrington Omdömen 

Just wanted to make a review regarding the service I had today at the Warrington branch.I made an order online to be delivered and unfortunately, one item wasn't in stock despite it being online, just one of those things unfortunately. I received a call from Carl (I think that was his name) who explained the situation and went above and beyond to sort out a redelivery for me with all my items! I know whilst in the phone he had a lady helping him aswell with my order but unfortunately I cant remember her name. 10/10 for customer service! Thankyou.

The Wickes fitter was ok (spent a lot of time on his phone and wasn't happy about the distance he had to travel to get to us) but Wickes I would never use again. The designer will tell you they will project manage the install but as soon as the kitchen is delivered they are not interested.
We were contacted to advise the original radiator we had chosen was no longer available. We picked a new one and asked them to confirm it would fit. We were told it would. It didn't.
They tried to get US to return it even though it was too heavy and too big to fit in our car. It took us WEEKS to get them to come and collect it. Even then we had to go to the store to put the credit back on our card, even though we'd gone 9 months interest free! We were also made to purchase a new radiator, before the one we had was collected, on our bank card as we were not allowed to add it to the finance agreement.
The only helpful person appeared to be the store manager. He even suggested in one email that if we contacted customer services they 'may offer a gesture of goodwill payment as compensation for the stress caused.' We contacted customer services on several occasions and they never acknowledged the stress and inconvenience we had suffered, having to take extra days off work due to install not being completed on time or the fact that the store manager had suggested compensation. They were not interested. They only sorted out the collection of the radiator (and units that had been incorrectly ordered).
The fitter told us he would email us the electrical certificates and despite chasing we still haven't received these. Install was in March.

We booked our appointment with Shaun from the Warrington branch to plan and quote a kitchen for a rental property, I had a figure in mind before we started but Shaun assured us that we won’t find anything cheaper and of the same quality, how right he was, great professional service, nothing rushed and definitely not pushing extra products on us, I had to ask 3 times when he told me the price just to make sure.
Brilliant service from Shaun I will definitely use Shaun and wicks for my next one.

Absolutely fantastic service today with Shaun McLoughlin one of the design consultants in the Warrington branch. He was super efficient and listened to everything I wanted. He picked up a previous design so not a straight forward appointment and was just brilliant. Kitchen designed and ordered - fabulous. Thanks so much Shaun!

Will was so helpful - went out of his way to help me, a credit to your store

Trade means trade with Wickes with your 10% discount on anything in store that you buy in comparison to other DIY stores, were a certain spend limit applies in order to be eligible for any discount.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.
In light of my recent experience at Wickes, I will definitely be using them more often in the future.

Anywhere but Wickes!
I recently bought my bathroom suite from Wickes. I knew it was overpriced but it seemed convenient and I was told everything would be sorted by them with all work guaranteed.
Maybe I’m gullible but I believed them.
I knew I’d messed up when the bathroom fitter left the job halfway through, leaving us with no toilet and nowhere to shower. Apparently, it was an issue with pay between Wickes and the fitter but it was me and the kids who suffered. After a week of silence, they found another fitter to compete the work.
We’ve now developed a leak from the shower which Wickes say is not covered under their guarantee.
This great company who told me everything was guaranteed for 5 years!!
My advice would be to find your own bathroom fitter first and ask them for recommendations as to where to buy your suite.
It would be much cheaper and personal. That’s exactly what I’ll be doing when I inevitably have to buy again.
Please don’t let Wickes rob you of your hard earned money.
I rarely write a review and only do so when I feel robbed and totally wronged.
Beware of the smiles and empty promises.

Customer service in this store is always excellent, from helping you to finding the item you are looking for to placing an order for delivery, particular mention to Julie for organising speedy delivery for us, and her helpful colleague (can't remember his name, sorry). I also like being able to check stock before I go to the store.

Your staff namely Will is an absolute credit to you I only came in for a tap ! I walked out with plans for a kitchen which I am coming back to book in with Will, he is superb at his job and knew what I wanted before I did. Well done Will you are great, you offer super service.

We had an amazing experience with Shaun, he came to measure our kitchen and designed it for us too! We are so pleased with the design and now awaiting delivery. He payed attention to detail and was very helpful!

Visited the Warrington centre store on 11.05.26 for a new loo seat £26.00 for my poorly OAP mum. I was in a rush and had no idea what I was doing and the male store assistant on the till was so very polite and explanatory he really helped me out. Well done Wickes. The loo seat is fitted same day by me! Thank you so much and keep the good work up.

Quick to book a home visit and on time on the day. Professional assessment of our needs and follow-up in store already booked for tomorrow.

I have just received an email saying ‘Thank you for attending an appointment with us’ when nobody turned up to our home measure.

I called the branch after no show and they claimed straight away they had already been and no one answered the door, my partner was waiting in the front room and we have a camera… so the person lied.

I was then told they would have a chat with the rep who claimed to have knocked on my door as he had just got back to the store, somehow he was there only 10 minutes after our agreed appointment.

I have heard nothing back other than your inaccurate email.

Chris was amazing! What a genuinely, lovely bloke! He had so much enthusiasm for the job, and really put us at ease with the decision making and looking at our options. Blew the other kitchen suppliers out of the water, thanks Chris x

I was very pleased with the service I received from Wickes, Shaun came to my home and helped me choose a new bathroom. It wasn't long after he left he sent me a design of a bathroom, which I really liked. When I went to Wickes the week after he was very friendly and helpful,I chose the bathroom which Shaun had designed. I would really recommend Wickes if you're looking for a new bathroom.

A big thank you to our local Warrington store for their very generous donation of tools to help the volunteers look after a local park.

My mum’s (Muriel Hackett) Kitchen is great but the ceramic sink wouldn’t fit with the sink drawer unit. Told we could refund the sink but we are still waiting for the refund almost three months later. Cannot contact the warranty department and customer service directs to emails that state reply in 72 hours but no reply even checking junk mail. Phone lines come to a dead end and empress cannot help!!!??

Went into our local Wickes to look at wallpaper,a came out with a £20K+ kitchen instead!! Great advice and service from Shaun M, honest and straight forward views, corrected a few bad ideas about kitchen layout. Great designer.
