Wickes - Tamworth Omdömen 

We had our bathroom designed and fitted through the wickes design and installation service. We are really pleased with the outcome. Special thanks to Jo in the Tamworth branch who went above and beyond in her role as design expert. From the initial meeting planning out our design, right through to the final days of the installation, Jo was incredible. She was always quick to respond to any questions (even ones we felt were silly!) She was a calm, reassuring presence throughout the process with great knowledge on every aspect of the process. Nothing ever felt like it was too much trouble, the experience was definitely less stressful thanks to Jo and all her help.

Absolutely appalling experience at Wickes Tamworth. In all my years dealing with customer service, this has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

The attitude of the manager was completely unacceptable. I raised a legitimate complaint about the way I was being spoken to, and instead of dealing with it professionally, my order was cancelled. I was then accused of swearing directly at the manager, which is simply not true. I swore to myself out of frustration — I did not swear at her.

What made the situation even worse was the way the manager continued to argue and "gob off" in front of other customers. There was absolutely nothing professional about the way the situation was handled.

I have spent thousands of pounds at Wickes, but after being treated like this, they have lost my business. Customer service should be about listening to customers, resolving problems and behaving professionally — not cancelling orders because a customer dares to criticise the way they are being treated.

The queues are often ridiculous, the prices are higher than competitors, and after this experience the customer service certainly isn't giving me a reason to return.

I will be taking my business elsewhere. Screwfix has earned my money from now on.

Wickes Tamworth seriously needs to look at how customers are being treated and whether the people responsible for managing the store are actually providing the level of customer service customers deserve.

I will not be shopping at Wickes again.

Had orders before for different products and beem good, however part of my order today was for a few lengths of 3.6m wood, when this arrived it was awful, twisted, bowed in both directions, and unworkable to make frame, now having to go and fetch some smaller lengths to fit in car, and will have to cut bad ones up to use part of them, more work and inconvenient, asked customer service for partial refund for the inconvenience and purchase of extra wood, but not interested unless i return them for full refund, and cannot guarantee replacements would be any better if i ordered again, i went and looked in store after recieving bad wood to see if any good ones left, and just a couple of lengths in same condition,
Wickes should not send out such shoddy bad wood if thats all thats left in store, its not fair on customer, Advice to anyone buying long lengths that cannot be chosen and picked up yourself, is to visit store and check that they have sufficient good ones in rack before you order for delivery, because they will give what they have even if all are bad.

Jo was amazing, very patient with us and managed to place the order the same day.
All planned and ready to book in for install.
She made this so easy as we were both frustrated with all the measurements so we started from scratch.

Brilliant. Joanne was so helpful. She listened to my ideas, my needs and my budget and created a beautiful kitchen for us.she went through the details over and over again to give us a broader understanding. Within a very short period of time Jo designed everything. Extremely happy.

As first time homeowners, this was our first time doing any significant renovation work and we're really grateful to Joanne for making the whole process feel so much easier (Thank you!!)
We had a home consultation, where she was able to understand exactly what we were thinking and discuss different options with us. She expertly guided us through what to expect every step of the way, and answered even the silliest questions with a friendly response. Our new bathroom has just been installed and we're really happy with the final result. We'll definitely be happy to reach out to Joanne again for future work.

Excellent customer service from Wickes, Wilnecote, Tamworth. I had an issue with some paint, the staff were all helpful and obliging, resolving the problem without any problem or fuss. Highly recommend.

Hi, I popped into the wilnecote branch in tamworth staffs today. I was served by Jake. He was so very patient and kind.
I only wanted some staples, for my staple gun... borrowed from my father in law. Jake helped me to load the staple gun, and informed me of different strengths for purposes. He deserves recognition. X ❤️

Excellent service very pleased with the design of our kitchen and how Jo who dealt with us and designed the kitchen explained everything we couldn't have asked for anything better my wife and I are very pleased

Jo the design consultant at Tamworth was extremely helpful She helped me design both bathroom and kitchen , giving ideas of colours to choose for tiles , work surfaces etc. Even when I changed my mind on different things she was very accommodating and made sure everything was how I wanted

I would like to share my appreciation for Zack Reid from the Wickes Tamworth branch. He designed our kitchen with great professionalism and attention to detail. Zack was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and supported us in choosing and purchasing all the appliances we needed.

He was always respectful, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was perfect. We are very grateful for his excellent service and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant experience.

I came in late on a Saturday , expecting to just get some ideas on my new kitchen .

Evan took the time to understand what I wanted and even quoted us that evening so we had an idea of what price range we could afford. We will be booking back in for a design once we have the keys!

I needed help in choosing the right type of paint for my bathroom walls and was helped by Keli who suggested I go for a bathroom specific paint which would withstand the environment better than just standard paint. I found the store well organised and well laid out and even picked up some paint rollers whilst I was there.

Friendly staff all round chatty and helpful what more could you wish for in a service !! Top marks to all inc George
