Wickes - Sheffield North Omdömen 

This review is for the Sheffield Rutland Rd store...
I have no problem with the store itself but they really need to sort out their disabled parking bays. The markings have very nearly disappeared so anyone and everyone is using them especially tradespeople with their big flatbed vans. I've pointed it out to staff so many times and nothing gets done. If you're not going to monitor the misuse of the bays and in turn discourage disabled customers there's no point having them.
If you're keeping them can you please repaint them to give us a fighting chance of being able to shop there?

We needed to replace a hinge for our kitchen cupboard but really struggled to find the correct one. Mike, the operations manager at the Sheffield North branch of Wickes was so helpful and, despite it being several years since we purchased our kitchen from Wickes, did everything he could to make sure he identified the hinge we needed and then arranged for it to be delivered to us. Very happy to have been able to replace the hinge on what we consider to be a great kitchen. Great customer service, thank you Mike.

We went in with a large order to mix paint and Carla on the paint mixing station was absolutely fantastic. It was late in the day, and she sorted us out with all of our paint with a smile on her face!

Louis has been absolutely incredible! We have an awkwardly small and very uninspiring bathroom and thanks to Louis and his design skills we are super excited to watch our bathroom come to life! Really smooth planning process and clearly explained how everything from fitting to finance works!
Definitely recommend !

Thank you so much to the Sheffield North Wickes team for their kind donation to Mossbrook Special School. The donated water butt and drain pipes will help us set up a rain water collection system in our allotment. The children will love using this to help water our lovely veggie plot!

Sandra Bownes was lovely and friendly. She came out and measured my kitchen and spoke about what I might want and made some good suggestions. I went into the Sheffield Rutland Road store a week later to look at the suggested plan which was fab. We then looked at the displays and chose the units and worktops etc that I wanted. I paid and was talked through next steps. Just waiting on the call from the person to come out to double check things and give me a date for installation.

Brilliant experience with Louis at Wickes, very patient, took time to listen and was very impressed by his knowledge and skills.

We absolutely love Louis from Wickes Kitchens. His depth of knowledge, patience, and genuine understanding of customer needs are exceptional. He truly goes the extra mile and nothing ever feels like too much trouble.

Louis came out to survey our kitchen and then took the time to sit down with us to carefully go through the designs, making sure everything was thought through and tailored to our needs. This level of care and attention made such a difference.

This is our second kitchen installation and by far the most precious and important one we’ve done to date. Louis made the entire process feel reassuring and exciting rather than stressful.
We would 100% trust him to make our kitchen dreams come true and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a new kitchen.

We booked a home design visit in store ref a new kitchen.
Louis come out on the 9th January. He made a curtesy call before he came.
After measuring up and talking us though everything. He made us an appointment in store to design and cost the kitchen.
He was really helpful/ polite and a pleasure to deal with. Louis took the time to explain everything and change things as we went through the process,
( we were not rushed to make a decision)

We called into this store to see about a shower unit , we spoke to a guy called Louis, I cant tell you how brilliant he was , he talked us through all designs ,makes models , we didn't feel rushed he had all the time in the world for us. It was really nice to finally find someone who would help us has other stores has shown know interest whatsoever, we came out with an order for a shower all fittings wct nothing was to much trouble for him , this guy was so helpful and genuinely a lovely person , thankyou so much Louis great guy jo and ian 😊

Louis has been great so far as part of our bathroom renovation. Great design, and allows time for all questions.

RSPCA Sheffield have been incredibly grateful for the support from Mike and the team at the Sheffield North branch, who very kindly supplied all the decorating materials we needed for our Cat Home Room — completely free of charge.

This room is a dedicated home-from-home space where our cats can come out of their pens to relax, play, socialise and spend time with staff in a calm, comfortable environment. Thanks to the generous support and high-quality materials provided, we’ve been able to create a space that will make a real difference to the cats’ wellbeing during their stay with us.

The team were friendly, helpful and genuinely supportive from start to finish. Their kindness and community spirit will have a lasting impact, and we can’t thank them enough for helping us make this room extra special.
