Wickes - Sevenoaks Omdömen 

They sold a toilet that had been returned and was missing parts! Not accepted responsibility for the flood it caused.

Well the in store experience was fine. We bought acoustic panels. Delivery was another matter, being 2 hours after latest (another emergency non Wickes customer prioritised by City Sprint - driver was great though. Our panel boxes being crushed by the clamping bands in the van left several with crush on the felt and marks on the wood. My wife ironed out the felt so we were ok but still poor to get boxes with crushing. Cheshire mould8ngs are the supplier and their packaging in our opinion is basic whilst these panels are £78 each.

Rose Stapley-Bunten was fantastic in assisting us with the design and order.
She made a home visit and advised us on what best suited us with our ideas in mind.
Delighted with the delivery of and items ordered, also excellent installer team led by LG Plumbing.

The Sevenoaks wickes kindly donated £100 of roof felt to mend our Forest School shed and stones for our pond base. Thank you sooooo much

Excellent customer service given by Rose. She was very efficient, went out of her way to understand her customers, knew the products and was totally honest and accommodated our many changes to the bathroom. We would highly recommend her

The staff at Sevenoaks Wickes are helpful, but I would like to single out Charlie for a mention. We have been doing a lot of work on our house and have used Wickes a lot over the last three years. Charlie has been consistently helpful both with customer service and advice. What make him particularly effective when I have asked for advice is that he separates facts from opinions. He will say if he is not expert in an area, but then give a view with his reasons for why something is best. Where he does know something is right, he says so. That's really helpful.

Kay was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding your kitchen / bathroom products and services. She also was very pleasant, polite and patient.

Staff so helpful - great attitude

As a trade member of Wickes I’m frequently in the shop. The staff are always friendly and helpful but I would like to give an extra shout out to Les 👍🏻 He has to be the most friendly and knowledgeable man in there and is always at hand to assist 👏🏻 We’ll done Les and if the upper management read these reviews? He deserves recognition and a little bit extra in his pay packet 🙏🏻

Visited on the evening of 18th Aug 2025. Got most things I needed though not all (hence 4 stars)
I had a list of items about which I had no clue. Kyle was friendly and helped me enormously.

I went to Wickes in Sevenoaks to get some advice and materials for laying slabs for the first time.
Very impressed with the store as it was clean and well organised.
Spoke to Paul who had a foundation of knowledge and advice on laying slabs, how to get them level and the best materials to use for my project. Paul was both friendly and approachable and was happy to leave what he was doing to help me on my endeavour.

Wickes Sevenoaks, through their Community Programme, supplied a kitchen for our Poverest Allotment Community Hub. Thanks to their support (especially their colleague Paul Wray) we will finally have an amazing community hub that will host events, talks and social gatherings. Superb.

As part of their community outreach programme, Wickes donated items for our gardening club, enabling our pupils to grow fruit and vegetables and enjoy seeing the benefits of spending time outdoors and being productive. I would encourage other schools to get in touch to see how Wickes can help them.

We had a new kitchen fitted recently. We were very impressed with the service overall. The installers were TJR KITCHENS & BATHROOMS. THEY were excellent. I can’t fault them. I would strongly recommend them . However there has been a considerable delay in removing the old kitchen waste since completion of installation. It’s disappointing

Co-ordination team couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery, my dad had to organise everything with installers. They failed to remove a contact number from their system which meant missed delivery and constant calls and messages whilst I was about to go into labour despite being asked on multiple occasions to remove it. The installer ruined my worktop and other parts of the kitchen, I have been trying to get this resolved since the end of March and got nowhere. Finally I asked for details on how to raise a complaint and the adviser ignored my request and just said they were extremely busy which is something you can’t do.This company has caused me nothing but stress!!!

Shocking! Two separate deliveries, two consecutive weeks - both coming from the Sevenoaks store and neither turned up. No one bothered to call me. Had no issues at all when stock is sent from the Tunbridge Wells branch. Absolute useless! Why bother texting a delivery window if you have no intention of delivering between these times?

My husband and I ordered a bespoke kitchen from an in store consultation, paid in full, and arranged a delivery date online.
On the arranged delivery day however, our kitchen didn't turn up. When we called Wickes Customer Services, we were told that the computer system had erroneously cancelled the delivery! They re-arranged the delivery for two weeks later (earliest date available).
We asked again for small delivery vehicle as we live in a country lane. However, a large delivery truck turned up, and the driver refused to unload the kitchen, as he said that "the van may cause an obstruction." However, a large car managed to pass the van while my husband spoke to the driver through the cab window?

It was only a helpful Customer Services person called Adam, who turned the situation around, by organising another delivery the following day in two small vans.

I was a bit sceptical as to whether this would happen, but I can confirm that Wickes came through for us on the third delivery attempt.
