Wickes - Peterborough Omdömen 

We order many wooden joists from this store recently and returned today to report to them that unfortunately a couple of the joists were a bit warped. In hindsight, we should have checked the joists before delivery. The gentlemen there, Joel, he went above and beyond to replace the two joists and sent them out for free delivery to us for tomorrow. Perfect. Many thanks Joel. We have used Wickes in Peterborough a lot since it opened and have always been happy with our service.

Went in panicked over a tile issue and a hole in my shower. Joel talked me through the whole process and how to sort it. Put me right at ease and I was able to get all the materials in store!

Colin at the tills was brilliant, very professional and went above and beyond to help us and explained everything we needed to know. He was so helpful and patient and did everything with a smile

Visited peterborough store to purchase decking boards.Approched a store member named Matt asking for assistance.He loaded the car with 30 decking boards. It didn’t stop there. He then gave me the stain l needed for the boards, which l only coated once and did the job.Excellent customer service.

I like to shop here, but I don't like to be served by rude people, second time I came, second time same person served me, I don't think she's happy to work here. By the way I'm not asking for cuddles but it would be nice people just be nice.

Second day running I’ve shopped at Wickes, spurred on by my successful visit yesterday….and an unwelcome ant infestation ☹️
I was served today by Matt who was incredibly helpful in identifying 2 different ant products, ensuring they could be used safely around pets.
Many thanks to Matt for his assistance today but in the nicest possible way, I really hope I’m not back in branch needing such help again, anytime soon.

When visiting Peterborough store, I needed help lift heavy railway sleepers. I saw Matt filling items in one of the aisles & asked him if he could help. He was pleased to & even offered to move some of the sleepers to get better ones below. He was very friendly & courteous, helping me through checkout & loading into my van without me having to ask. Very pleased with the service today.

I don't write many reviews, however I had excellent service today from the Peterborough personnel. Truly knowledgable and exceptional customer service delivered with a grin - something that is quite unusual these days. I'd like to commend the following employees: Andrea for assisting with the opening of a trade card, as well as Amber and Steve for their support - keep up the good work!

I visited the Peterborough store and was very impressed by the service that Matt gave me. Thanks a lot again Matt and do keep it up.

Went into store to purchase a water butt at 11.11am (on receipt) they were on display in the foyer.
To help cashier we took sticker off the one we wanted to purchase (barcode).
On paying at the till, we were not greeted in anyway at all.
We told cashier, we’d got the barcode sticker off the one we wished to purchase to help, which again was ignored.
Cashier came across as purely as she didn’t want to be there. Miserable. A personality ‘ good morning, how are you?would have been nice.
Totally poor service. Not great wickes!
Certainly made us feel not to shop in your store again unless we were desperate.
Took name of the cashier but for obvious reasons aren’t putting in on here.

I literally shop in this store every day, it has everything I need, stock availability is always good and the staff are great, really helpful and pleasant.
Andrea is by far the most friendliest person in the store, she always gives me a smile, even at 7am and sets the day off to a great start!
The main reason I shop anywhere is the people you interact with and the Peterborough branch of Wickes has great people with Andrea being the person I look for if I have an issue that needs sorting.

Fantastic customer service when visiting the store. Always happy to offer assistance when needed nothing seems to much effort when asked. Always well greeted on arrival. Andrea is a credit to the store with very high customer service received from her on each of my visit’s

Matt was Very friendly and helpful

Fabulous customer service all round - ordered on web for click and collect - seamless experience. Unfortunately the walk in greenhouse had bits missing only discovered as I built it … called them , came back to store and they very kindly helped me get the missing bits ( without me having to take the original apart again) . Colin and Paul deserve special mention for the courteous , helpful and friendly service - refreshing!! (Peterborough Store)

We used to use a different diy store but whe they didn't have something we needed we tried wicked. The difference was amazing. Plenty of room between aisles where could get wheelchair down easily, friendly helpful staff.
On our last visit Steve L was so helpful picking the best pressure washer for our needs. The one we were advised to get cut the tine to do drive and garden from all day to hour or so. Steve L has always been very helpful and friendly. We will not use another diy store now we found Wickes.

Extremely helpful staff and prices were quite reasonable.
Member of staff called Steve and another colleague (name not known) were exceptionally polite and helpful with my purchase of water butts.

Huge! HUGE! Thank you to Sarah (and team) at Wickes Peterborough.

Won't bore you with the details but after 45mins on the phone to Wickes Customer Service I got nowhere.

One quick call to Peterborough branch and in less than 60 seconds it was sorted.

It isn’t often that you get first class customer service these days, but dealing with Steve at Wickes in Peterborough shows that it still exists. He showed a degree of customer care that was really appreciated and is a great example for everyone around him.

I needed garden paint I looked on website it said 1 in stock but when I got to the store I couldn’t find it anywhere.. Colin came to help me he literally went through every tin on the shelf, and in the warehouse looking for it he didn’t give up, eventually finding it in the outside area! Hooray I was really impressed as many other shops would’ve just said no we haven’t got any without even looking! Thank you Colin you’re a star ⭐
