Wickes - Oldham Omdömen 

We ordered a kitchen from Wickes - for us it was pretty pricey (around the £5,000 range)

Three things went wrong.
1. They failed to design the kitchen with enough units. Meaning we had to last minute go and buy an extra unit.

2. The renders we approved failed to highlight or show the irregular gap between one side of the extractor fan and the units. When you're spending the best part of 5k - this should have been highlighted in the renders.

3. They added unnecessary items to the order that weren't needed, and then rejected to provide a refund for the items they decided to add to the order - as it was over 30 days since we ordered and fitted the kitchen.

I'm generally quite relaxed with minor issues. But this is Wickes and we paid £5k for a kitchen. At £5k I expect everything to be flawless. And the fact they won't refund items that weren't needed is disgusting behaviour for such a big company.

I actually work in refurbing properties. I ordered a Selco Kitchen for a fifth of the price and they even offered a refund on some unnecessary items 1 whole year after I actually bought the kitchen.

Companies need to learn how to treat customers. I for one have ordered my last Wickes Kitchen.

All we wanted was a refund on the unopened and undamaged items that they decided we needed. It seems Wickes doesn't seem to have any people with a brain that understands common sense.

Nico was amazing. Although Wickes didnt have what we needed, she was extremely supportive and friendly

Ordered a kitchen from Wickes Oldham which was delivered promptly. Unfortunately when we came to install the sink it was broken in 2 pieces in the box.
Wickes website said I should go into the store I bought it from which I did. The lady in the kitchen design dept. couldn’t have been less interested and was absolutely no help at all which was disappointing to say the least.
A young lady on the checkout called Nico saved the day, she rang customer services for me there and then and got the ball rolling. The result was a new sink delivered in just over a week. She’s is a lovely young lady who has served me a few time, always happy always chirpy, always helpful. Thanks Nico, I may owe you a box of celebrations👍

I have been a Trade Account her with Wickes, since 2022, prior to this I buy from B & Q, and Howarth Timber.

Nico based at the Oldham, Lancashire :
- had vast amount of product knowledge, since I was confused by YouTube videos,
- was very polite and patient,
- was very helpful with my heavy trolley,
- saved me money with her suggestion, so I bought an alternative product from Wickes,

There have been 2 other staff members at the Oldham Store who are totally opposite, which made me go Wickes in Bury instead (past 6 months)- until I met Nico. What a star!!!

Was served by Nico, quick , efficient, and my materials were booked Asap for delivery. Brilliant!!

Everything was great including delivery except for 3 lengths of decking were faulty (1 split, one crushed and one chipped). I am managing to work around this but if I would have had room in my car I would have selected undamaged decking.

ordered easily and delivered quickly. may i say your driver Sohail Khan went above and beyond with this delivery he placed all the wood safely and made sure the pathway was clear, he is very professional and polite and an asset to your company. please pass on my sincere thanks to him.

Fantastic staff here made a few trips over the week starting spring projects Nic and Gemma were very helpful going above and beyond they seem to have everything in every visit and also helpful with a few problems I came across this store is my go to well done every one there a great experience all round

Served by Nico at Oldham, returned left over tiles that were purchased from Stockport, she rang Stockport and facilitated the refund, very helpful, courteous.

John in Oldham store made my Sunday morning easy for me as he was already busy stacking stock on shelves and still had a smile on his face when I asked him where 2 different items were and rather than tell me which isle like most he actually went to the location and pointed them out to me he was happy to help me and had a smile that made me smile too keep up the good work

Couldn't find an item I was looking for and a staff member called Nico was super helpful in locating the item for me. Always had good service from this store and will continue to use them on this basis.

We needed some help within the store on Good Friday and Nick was called over the tannoy by Tracey who was very pleasant, he appeared almost immediately and he could not have been more helpful..I would definitely recommend this store the customer service was the best I’ve seen in a long time!
