Wickes - Northampton Omdömen 

I went to wickes Northampton last week, and the queue was super long, after getting closer and figuring out what was taking so long there was a trio of customers shouting and being horrible to a young girl who I later found out to be abi F, nobody stepped into help her, even after she had radioed over to ask for assistance of a manager. When she served me despite the altercation she had just had, she was one of the loveliest people I have ever been served by! She was smiling, asking about my day, how I am, being super helpful and just got on with the absolute disrespect she had just been given. I completely understand you are bound to get disrespected when working in a retail job, but the fact nobody came to help her when she needed the assistance is appalling, Not even just from the managers end but also other colleagues. When the trio had gone a man called Andre or Andy whom I figured out was some sort of manager by his name badge had come over from the other till where he was serving nobody. So my question to you Wickes Northampton is why is it you let your so called managers allow grown men talk to a young girl the way they spoke to abi F!!! Abi F held her own so well and she should be proud of herself. I can bet she is a great colleague and Wickes Northampton is lucky to have her!! Well done and thank you for being so brilliant, and serving me the way you did!

Customer service is awful. Bought a bifold door online, had to take it out the packaging as it arrived in half, once out it was too narrow for our doorway. Spoke to customer service to confirm return to store and confirm it was out the packaging, they confirmed it was okay to return to store out of packaging as our local store would be made aware. Went to store they refused to take it, moaned it was out the packaging - how you can know a door will fit without removing packaging is beyond me. Then told it’s an online only item so can’t take back to store - how would we know that? Told us to take it home and speak to customer service to arrange collection - even though we had the chat showing return to store was fine. Contacted customer service on 2 occasions to arrange a collection and received zero response, received feedback emails but no response - absolute joke. We are now having to pay out more money for a carpenter to do extra work to our doorway so we can use the door. Will never purchase from wickes again.

Store manager James and DC Dan were both very helpful, Dan designed a kitchen for me and I am very pleased with it and James was very helpful with bits I needed off the shop floor.

I am having a new kitchen fitted and I have nothing but praise for the staff at Northampton Wickes. My consultant was Daniel Millers and he was brilliant, very personable who understood exactly what I was looking for. Dan was not pushy at all just really really helpful - nothing was too much trouble when I had some changes to make to the design and I felt very confident with the process which was explained fully to me. Thank you Dan you are a real asset to the company.

Very good experience in store. The store manager went out of his way to get some product out of the Goods In area that they had only just received on a pallet. Also helpful in sourcing a recirculating extractor fan. Only 4 stars because I also purchased 3 tile drill bits for porcelain tiles (£24 together) and all of them broke after just 4.5 holes!! Not exactly wickes fault but the brands Virtek and Marcrist need to reviewed I think.

I visited my local Wickes store to collect an online order. Had fantastic customer service from Tracie who was extremely helpful & took time out of her busy day to sign me up for a TradePro account for my newly started business venture.

Anna in Northampton branch was really helpful and professional she was polite and friendly.

Good quality kitchen. Prompt efficient delivery fitters were JME joinery & carpentry ltd (Jamie and team) were friendly courteous and hard working really helpful and tidy. Kept disruption minimal. The store was out of stock of a particular size of acrylic sheeting that I wanted, there was a damaged larger sheet, which the store assistant called Tracie let me have at half price. This helped me out massively on the project I was working on at home. Once again, thank you Tracie

My mum and I ordered our kitchen through Wickes in Northampton. The kitchen designer Getriin was friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and we just had a great experience ordering our kitchen with her. We are really happy with our new kitchen and I would highly recommend Getriin.

Easy access to store. No clutter and tidy. Items where I would expect. Quick checkout. Happy to shop again.

I visited several kitchen and bathroom stores before I chose to purchase my kitchen from Wickes. Dan Miller’s, one of the kitchen and bathroom designers, took on our project and was head and shoulders better than any other designer in the other companies. It was obvious from the beginning that his depth of knowledge was great and his eye for design was excellent. We couldn’t be happier and recommend Wickes but specially Dan who could not have been more professional helpful and courteous throughout the process.

When you can’t find what you want the staff are always kind and helpful.

In here a few times a week. Really friendly staff has trade quality items at trade prices. Whether it’s trade or public it’s a great store to visit

We went into store to buy a couple of items "off the shelf" and order some bigger kitchen items and internal doors for delivery. Every member of staff we came across was really helpful, particularly Tracie on the till who was patient and thorough and reminded us of our Trade account saving us £68 off our final bill.
