Outstanding service from Sharon at Wickes!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sharon for all her help when we were choosing and purchasing our flooring and tiles. She was incredibly patient, friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole process.

Sharon took the time to explain everything clearly, including the different services available and how we could make the most of the discounts to get the best possible deal. She never rushed us and made sure we fully understood our options before making any decisions.

She genuinely went above and beyond to help us, and her customer service was exceptional from start to finish. It’s rare to come across someone who puts so much effort into making sure customers are happy.

Thank you again, Sharon you were brilliant and made the whole process so much easier! Wickes are lucky to have you!

Decided to redecorate the bathroom 3days before going away.(mistake number 1)
We first decided on using B&Q for our paint and DIY needs..(mistake numer 2)..after being messed around being told to tour the stores of Leicestershire for different(poor quality) products.

I was about to give up when I rang Wicks in Thurmaston, I think I spoke to Rich first and heard Rhys in the background helping.
Nothing and I mean nothing was a problem for these guys. Finally got the answer that B&Q and Ai couldn't answer that took about 2 days, it took Rich and Rhys less than 5 minutes with answers.
Drove to the store pretty much straight the way, where when ordering my paint Rich was walk towards to counter and said the name of the paint and we had a friendly chat, that right there!! is customer service at its very best!!

I can't thank Rich & Rhys enough. They saved the bathroom, hoilday and my relationship 🤣

I hope they are rewarded as they are a massive plus to the busy. Now I will not go anywhere other that Wicks because of these 2.

I have visited Wickes many times recently as I’m carrying out a full renovation of my new house. Overall, the staff have always been friendly, helpful and willing to assist.

I would especially like to thank Trish at the Leicester Thurmaston store for her help with mixing paint for me. She was incredibly kind, patient and helpful, and made the whole process so easy.

I asked a question to Rhys and I did not a proper response as he was on his phone messaging instead of working so I went to Olivia and she was super helpful and pointed me in the right direction and helped me make a tough decision

Wickes are ok but they have a policy that if you pay for items via gift card and then top up with cash payment they will not refund cash payment if you return an item but reissue another gift card thereby forcing you to shop there again! Most unhappy with this policy since the stores is miles away and I can't use the gift card online. You have to go to the store to use it. So antiquated.

Dan, the man serving was really helpful with getting me the stuff I needed and helped with loading up the car, without making me feel bad. Really helpful service. Thank you.

The operations manager was really helpful. I wanted some shelving for my office space and he showed me all the options. I think his name was Tom.

Great service from my local Wickes store in Thurmaston. With the help of a young manager with glasses (forgot his name) I was able to get everything I needed for a shed base for my new home. Thanks

Adam Wells was fantastic, understood what we were looking for in a kitchen, was patient, took time to run through the options and ultimately designed our perfect kitchen.

I would like to say how fantastic Sharon was My husband and I went into the Thurmaston branch of Wickes for some strimmer wire Were both in our seventies and needed some help accessing the correct one Sharon was so helpful even coming to the car to view the strimmer then googling what we needed She went above and beyond and said I`m just doing my job If only everyone did there job as well as Sharon Fantastic

I've been waiting 6 months for the bathroom I paid for to be installed.

To begin with everything was going well: the design consultant knew what he was doing and the process seemed to be going well without any issues.

Then they assigned a fitter that B&Q removed from my kitchen installation the year before (I then found out from the Wickes design consultant that the fitter's work mate was stealing the products when they were being delivered).
They then assigned another fitter who quoted £2000 more than the design consultant quoted (including charging for things that weren't needed). Obviously we asked for another fitter.

We are still waiting...

Customer services are no help either.
Wickes only contact me if I chase them up, despite repeated promises to keep me updated.

Today we were assigned another fitter: actually, it was the same guy who quoted us £2000 more than the design consultant's quote months ago. So, I've declined them again...

We went with Wickes because they seemed to be the cheapest. Big mistake!

I just want the bathroom I've paid for for the price I was quoted originally (or reasonably close to it). I don't think I'm asking for much.

Very helpful in helping us design our en-suite, we would certainly not hesitate to recommend Wicks and to consider you for future projects.

He was thorough, clean, friendly , informative, helpful, answered all our questions

Directed straight to the items I was looking for by staff members Olivia and Rhys. The store was tidy and was even helped to the car with a heavy item. Been a great experience on every visit recently,
