Wickes - Lancaster Omdömen 

Absolutely abysmal customer service/complaints. Ignored by Store Manager and fobbed off by salesman Wayne! Wrong oven delivered - tried for resolution but no answer by this store. If you go to choose a kitchen make sure you know what you want and don’t need to rely on the staff “expertise” because they don’t have any!!!! Trading standards here I come!!!!

I am so glad that I went to Wickes for my lovely new kitchen! From design ideas, to planning and installation, it could not have gone better. Wayne was there every step of the way with amazing service and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend!

Great experience Conner at the Lancaster Store helped me find and advised me on the correct products I needed to paint my new Wickes Pine doors . Very Professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

The design as given us so much room and is perfect, had quite a lot of missing items but they where sent out,but took 3 weeks to arrive. One cupboard which houses the extraction unit,we bought because it had shelves inside when it came it was empty. After speaking to Wickes they said you have to make your own. Nobody said that when we bought it. All in all the design as turned out to be perfect. But waited 3 months for parts to arrive

The design consultant Simon Knight went above and beyond to get the kitchen to suit my needs even when having to entertain my 3 Yr old Grandson Dylan who was asking 1001 question on what he was doing all the time then to top it off my dog was just as taken and wanted fussing as well but he did entertain them and do a superb job on my design even down to the last half hour of changes I requested, so I highly recommend Simon Knight and if ever I need anything else he'd be the first one to go to Thank You So Much Really Appreciated It, Jenny sharp

Was looking for a gas box key and had wandered around the store unsuccessfully. I was approached by Vicky who had spotted my dilemma and took me directly to the item I was looking for, after I'd walked past it on numerous occasions. She stopped what she was doing and provided me with a pleasant first class service, making sure I found the other items on my shopping list

Appalling customer service.

Purchase and installation of kitchen back in December. Configuration wrongly designed from outset by Janine at Wickes Lancaster when purchased with run of 4 units all together on one wall. Worktop has now sagged and fridge/freezer door barely opens. Chipped and marked worktops and doors with very poor quality installation. Fitter left washing machine leaking which flooded floor and ruined brand new flooring also installed by Wickes.
Been fighting through FHIO Ombudsman and finance since and now Wickes will not respond to emails or come and remedy the situation.

Everything from bathroom design to actual fitting was so easy and friendly, the fitter went above and beyond to ensure the project was completed on time and to a high standard.

Thanks to the Wickes Community Programme and staff at their Lancaster store we were able to complete renovations in the grounds of the High Borrans Outdoor Education centre. Painted lots of benches with our Wickes paint and our newly gravelled borders look great, ready to welcome kids back for new adventures. Thanks guys!

From the moment I entered the store from the time leaving all the staff helped me in finding everything that I needed for a project. Vanda was the first person who came to my aid, she was knowledgeable, professional, and patient with me, Vanda is a credit to the store and company, I will definitely recommend Wickes to my family and friends and continue to use this branch.

We have recently had both our kitchen and bathroom designed and renovated by the Wickes Lancaster team and the service has been exceptional from start to finish. Simon helped us design each room to fit our lifestyle and was knowledgeable and helpful, tweaking the design and getting it just right. The installation went smoothly, with a few changes along the way that Simon and the installers were very communicative and found solutions without extending the time or budget. The finish on each room is exceptional and every person we worked with went above and beyond, with Simon on call at all times making it an stress-free process from start to finish. We’d highly recommend using the Wickes design and installation team for any future house projects. 10/10 service.

This review is specifically for Wickes Kitchens and not the store.
Wickes Kitchens have let us down so badly writing a review is actually difficult!
First off, the cabinet quality, design and price are all spot on but, installation and subsequent customer service are beyond outrageous.
Their own installation schedule, their terms and conditions, the relevant consumer laws all seem to mean absolutely nothing.
The way we have been treated by Wickes is shocking. Our installation manager verbally admitted he had actually ignored our issues. Once escalated to higher level customer service it just got worse.
We are over 1 year into our kitchen installation and on advice of our solicitor we submitted our case the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman.
Well, what can I say, “on the payroll”!
OMG what a waste of time that was! Ombudsman completely agreed with us and concluded that Wickes was right!
How can you be presented with evidence of all installation errors as assessed by Wickes own assessor , total disregard for our living with an unfinished unusable kitchen with many issues that require the entire cabinetry to be removed, correctly reinstalled and countertops be remade to fit?
So both Wickes and the ombudsman have now gone silent and not responding to emails!
£22k, over 1 year, no end in sight, no response, unfinished incorrectly fitted!
Worst of all since the Ombudsman has sided with
Wickes going to Court seems out of the question!
How can this happen? Who would treat there customers this way and not do everything in their power to make good?
Buy Wickes cabinets only with the intention to hire your own fitter.
If you choose to take their installation service be very very careful, if anything goes wrong they will not do anything to correct it, Absolutely NOTHING…

Bought a kitchen which i thought was expensive at the time but my wife was happy with it, we waited 6 months and the week before fitting everything got delivered to our house,the weekend before fitting we gutted our house and did extensive prep ready for the fitters, Monday came and no fitter turned up,they didn't answer the phone and were unreachable, eventually someone from Wickes contacted us to see how everything was going,we told them what had happened and they contacted the fitter to be told he wasn't doing the job,no explanation thats it,we then heard nothing from Wickes for a few days and there answer was to take the kitchen back and no fitting,we were left with nothing and now are in a right mess as have not much stuff left,3 weeks on and Wickes have still not refunded my deposit after we cancelled the whole kitchen, they have my money and keep making excuses as to why they haven't refunded us,there customer service is a total joke, anyone reading this review please save yourself the hassle and buy your kitchen elsewhere

Excellent service, after service was spot on. Home visit to design to delivery was as promised, on time and no issues. Had some returns as not needed to to my choice, no issues from Wickes.

I’ve never wrote a review on Trust pilot, but felt I needed to.
I ordered 10x 25kg bags of cement and the delivery guy carried each bag and put them safely in my porch area,as I was out. It may not seem much to some people but to me he delivered with care with some effort on a hot day.
Just wanted to say he’s an asset to the company. Thank you.

My experience with Wickes' kitchen installation service has been extremely disappointing.

After waiting around six months for my kitchen, the installer failed to turn up on the agreed start date and later withdrew from the job. I had already emptied my kitchen and living room, removed flooring and tiles, arranged Building Control, paid for a structural engineer and prepared my home ready for the installation.

Weeks later I am still waiting for a clear plan. Communication has been poor throughout, with long periods of no updates despite repeated emails. Even now there appears to be confusion between Wickes and their suppliers, with delivery instructions being incorrect.

My house has been left in disruption, yet I still have no confirmed installation date or explanation of how Wickes intends to resolve the situation.

I expected far better organisation, communication and customer service from a national company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using Wickes for a kitchen installation.
