Wickes - Cirencester Omdömen

I absolutely love shopping at Wickes Cirencester. It’s always a pleasure to walk through the doors. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and always go above and beyond to help.

A special mention to Marie on the till, who always greets you with a cheerful “Good morning” or “Good afternoon” whenever you walk into the store. She’s always smiling and happy, whatever the day, and that genuinely makes my day.

All the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They always seem to know exactly where everything is, and if they don’t, they’ll happily look into it for you and let you know whether it’s something that can be ordered or when it might be coming back into stock.

It’s the little things that make such a difference, and the team really do make shopping there a pleasure. Excellent customer service all round. Keep up the good work!

🎨💛 A huge thank you to our lovely local community for kindly providing us with paint for our school! We’re looking forward to creating a calm, welcoming space where our children can relax, feel safe and take some time to recharge. 🌈✨

We really appreciate your kindness and support in helping us make our school an even more special place for our children. 🏫💛

I used the Wickes Community Programme to support a local school mural and had the most positive experience from start to finish. The manager of the Cirencester Community Programme was so lovely and made the whole process very easy . The programme is funding materials for a large decorative mural to go in a high traffic area of a local school and will make such a positive contribution to the interior

Felt listened to, lovely design that stuck to the ideas I had mentioned previously.

Wasn’t rushed into anything.

Sandra was fantastic

A fantastic experience with Sandra at Wickes Cirencester. Really understood what I was looking for and translated it into fantastic design and layout for all the rooms in a major renovation project. Really knowledgable about the whole product range and had great ideas to build on my initial thinking. Would highly recommend seeking out Sandra for your project.

Managed to find the exact paintbrushes I needed!

Marie is fantastic, always so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. Her optimism is infectious.

We were lucky enough to get some funding through their community programme which has helped us improve our DT projects across our school.

Thank you

I had a quote for a new bathroom. 5star service from Steve ( Cirencester), he listened to my needs, was very patient and delivered what I asked for. No hard sell or push for more expensive items.

I accepted quote. Unfortunately after plumber visit I cancelled but stress that after contacting to cancel it was done quickly and with good grace, no attempt to pressure me into continuing.

I would happily go back to them if need be at a later date.

A huge thank you to Wickes for supporting our local community garden!
We were delighted to receive practical gardening tools and PPE. This means our members have the equipment they need to get involved, enjoy gardening and, most importantly, stay safe while taking part.
Your support makes a real difference to our local gardening project and helps us create a welcoming space where members of the community can come together, learn new skills and enjoy being outdoors.
Thank you, Wickes, for supporting local community gardening projects and helping our garden grow!

Thank you to Marie and all at Wickes for the paint to re-vitalise our school corridor. Marie couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you!

What a wonderfully supportive store and team at Wicks.
Having just taken over Headship of Eastcombe Primary school I knew a lick of paint was needed to freshen up the front railings.
Wicks provided me the paint for FREE!!! Delivered on time with a smile as well. Now I just need to find a volunteer and some time to get the job done…..
THANK YOU WICKS!

Tom helped on the phone before arrival, came to check products with me, went to get more from warehouse and then loaded my car. Polite and friendly...a real asset!

I purchased several bags of Topsoil and Compos, I was severed by Dana a cheerful young lady and was asked if I needed a hand. A lovely polite chap at Wickes lifted all the bags into my car for me. Thank you for such an amazing service.

Served by Marie, excellent service and easy checkout

Marie at the Cirencester branch is a star. Always happy to help and super cheerful. She brightens up my day of DIY!

Very useful store for all-round property projects. We’re currently fixing guttering to a summerhouse and it’s been so useful to buy it at our Cirencester Wickes store. A member of staff even went on the hunt for brackets when the shelf in store was empty. Very helpful.

Would just like to say a big thank you to Sandra. Choosing a new kitchen can be a daunting experience but she made the process so easy. We kept changing our minds and she was so patient and continued to be supportive.
She is an asset to the Wickes kitchen team and we will have no hesitation in recommending her to friends and family

Chris and Dawn

Although the store was well stocked with what we needed and went for some of the staff need to get an update on there attitude, rudeness and walking around with a face like a slapped bottom, the one on the till didn't even say please or thankyou and just threw the receipt on the till instead of handing to us, they wanna be grateful they have a job so this review is more about the attitude issue not the products

We applied for the community grant for wood to create new stalls for our yearly school fete, Marie was lovely to deal with and very efficient. Such a great way to support the local community and we will be able to make money each year with our new stands!
