Wickes - Broadstairs Omdömen 

Purchased some Peat free compost which had a price of £6.00 displayed. When this was rung through the till it came up as £6.50 so I went back to query with the assistant. She went without a word to the display came back tapped at the till, asked my name and address, plus my card. Then processed the refund and said there's your refund!!! Call me old fashioned but shouldn't there have been a "Sorry about that" somewhere in the process????

Been so disappointed with their customer service. Honestly - the worst I’ve ever experienced. We had a shower room fitted one year ago which was a super difficult process start to finish, went over time, budget and generally awful coordination so I had to PM it myself with the suppliers.

Then 4 months ago I got in touch to say the sink plunk and thermostat in the shower don’t work and asked for a replacement which is under warranty- should be a simple request but I still haven’t received an update. I chase weekly, try get through on the phone and even had to get in touch with our original designer to help - but STILL nothing. It really shouldn’t be this hard - even our installer agrees :( I contacted the store manager also - but no response. We need a new kitchen too - but never working with Wickes again.

Claire Skinner and her team at Wickes Broadstairs have agreed to sponsor our Mindfulness Garden The Haven. They have generously given us a water butt which means our garden will continue to flourish and we can save on water. They plan to help us with plants to keep our garden blooming. We are so grateful to Claire and her team.

Wickes is my go to shop when it comes to my home. Their products has never failed me, brought 2 fans from Wickes and never had a problem with them, also brought Kiln Dried Sand for my drive and I have no complaints about the product. They are just the many products I have purchased from Wickes. The stuff there always has a smile on their faces and the most welcoming to their store. They really make the place feel warmer and make my shopping experience enjoyable. The stuff are approachable and helpful. I’ve seen stuff help carry stuff to the customers car if you can not carry it yourself or no trolleys. Helpful stuff, always recommend Wickes to family and friends.

The staff here were really friendly and helpful. I was looking for some tolls for a specific job at home, not only did they show me to the tools I needed but gave some good advice with my diy project.

The staff are always really lovely and helpful. They help me find the things I’ve been blind enough to miss. I’m in quite frequently and always seem to head to the staff members; Tom, Jo and Jackie who are always very warm and welcoming. I find that Tom (even when the store is extremely busy) always has time to help customers and does so with a smile making the wickes experience, the best experience!

Legal action pending so can’t comment further.

I can’t thank Farhan enough for helping me design my dream kitchen. From the start, he was so polite, calm, and easy to talk to. Nothing ever felt rushed or stressful—he really took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for.

Dear Wickes Customer Service,
I’m writing to share feedback about my visit to your store yesterday for a click-and-collect order and a product return. At the counter, the staff member brusquely asked for my receipt during the return process. After completing the refund, I inquired if someone was available for click-and-collect, as no one was at the designated counter. The staff member responded curtly, telling me to "be patient" as he was alone, which felt dismissive as I wasn’t being impatient—just seeking clarification.
A minute later, he used the tannoy to call for click-and-collect assistance. It would have been more efficient and courteous if he had made the call when I first asked, rather than responding abruptly. I hope this feedback can help improve customer interactions in the future.

I’d been everywhere looking at new kitchens. It involved a lot of research and time. I stepped into Wickes Broadstairs branch and met Mike, and my search was over.
He instinctively knew what I was looking for. He developed an impressive design, including everything I’d asked for. He was very patient when I changed my mind-this happened several times. He offered suggestions which I hadn’t thought of and took a great deal of effort in sourcing the best possible price for appliances. Then I was introduced to Ricky, the kitchen fitter. What a guy, so hardworking, with a professional eye for detail. He’s a perfectionist! Nothing was too much trouble, he’s offered advice, with patience and understanding- I changed my mind a couple of times here too.
All in all, our experience choosing Wickes kitchen design and fitter was made all the more enjoyable than I could have ever anticipated. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mike at Wickes Broadstairs for design and the amazing Ricky for installation (Wickes are very lucky to have such a professional on their team). We’re absolutely delighted with the end result.

The Broadstairs store team are fantastic. I have been in a couple of times recently for various bits for our Forest School (in a local primary school) and have been really impressed with how helpful the team have been.
I have also applied for, and been given, a selection of tools under the Wickes Community Project. It was very easy to apply and I was then invited to pop to the store to collect what we had asked for - what an incredible community initiative. Our pupils are having a ball learning to use basic tools and equipment in Forest School. Thank you very much indeed Wickes.

We have had brilliant service from Claire and the team at Wickes, Broadstairs. We ordered a greenhouse and it is fantastic. Delivery was perfect, arrived on time and was relatively simple to fix together.
We couldn't be happier.

We dealt with a very nice guy called Kristian who was extremely professional and friendly.

We're looking forward to visiting again to discuss our options with Kristian moving forward
