Excellent service from the team when looking at having a new kitchen. Tom and team and Luke were exemplary regarding explaining the system and availability. Luke was very quick at putting forward a design suggestion which we liked.
Sadly for the moment we have to put it on hold as we have to rewire the kitchen!
We will obviously be back

Service so bad. Initial delivery booked for 12.08 only half the order turned up (I had builders booked for the next day). Reply from customer service as follows:
As discussed on the phone earlier I have contacted the Bristol store regarding the items that you have not received today and they have responded that they have booked earliest redelivery for them for the 18th of August so they will be delivered on the 18th of August.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused around this.

So I have to wait six days!! My builder supplied the goods. I phoned customer services to cancel the delivery apparently the delivery is coming from Wincanton and not Bristol as previously told and I have been told they cannot cancel but I need to refuse the delivery. So Wickes.... great for your green footprint deliver goods that have been cancelled 48hrs before delivery. And this is all down to your dreadful customer service.

What a lovely guy Taylor listened to all my needs and made some great suggestions. Very professional.

Very easy to order a new bathroom. Luke Stone was very efficient and knowledgable. Everything we needed was discussed and alternatives suggested. Came away thinking it was a really professional service and well priced.

Consultant was very profient. Gave good ideas and was very helpful and very knowledgeable.

We have recently completed a kitchen project with Wickes, and I wanted to recognise the exceptional service we received from Adam Weston at the Longwell Green store.

Our building project was delayed, meaning that almost two years passed between our initial kitchen consultation and the final installation of our worktops. Throughout that entire period, Adam was consistently helpful, patient and professional.

He dealt with numerous revisions to our order, answered queries from our installer, visited our property on several occasions to help resolve issues, and kept in regular contact to make sure everything was progressing smoothly. He even went out of his way to help us on his days off. When parts were missing, he arranged prompt replacements, and he also organised returns of items we no longer needed quickly and efficiently.

Building projects inevitably have their challenges, but Adam’s commitment, attention to detail and genuine care for his customers made the whole experience far less stressful than it could have been.

Outstanding customer service has become increasingly rare, which is why I wanted to take the time to recognise it when I experienced it. Adam is a tremendous asset to Wickes, and I hope the company recognises the difference he makes. Thank you, Adam, for everything you did to help us.

Had a very smooth experience ordering a new kitchen. Gemma was very knowledgeable, friendly and allowed us to patiently choose the right options for us.

So didn't make initial delivery slot as none of product in stock. No notification it wouldn't turn up at all.
Speak to customer services eventually gets re-arranged for 6 days after.
Guess what didn't turn up again.
Cancelled the order and took the refund.

Wickes used to be excellent, they were on it. They've just turned into a mess in my view. No staff, nobody has any time or ability to actually sort things out.

Longwell Green store in Bristol are hopeless. Nobody answered the phone at all even to their own customer services department to find out what was going on, let alone any customer that rings up.

You've got numerous other builders merchants and trade shops in the area so suggest you steer clear of wickes.

We had a home visit to start to design our new kitchen.
Adam Weston was very helpful and understanding of what we wanted. He had lots of knowledge and definitely helped us to make the most out of the space we had.

Highly impressed with Luke Stone from the Bristol Longwell Green store. He arrived at our home on time, he was polite and professional. There was no hard sell from him and he was honest about what we wanted to achieve and came up with lots of ideas for us to think over.

Delivery driver had been unbelievably rude to my pregnant wife. Obstructing our walkway with over 150kg of products and expecting her to move it on her own. Wickes didn’t care about this or that we wouldn’t shop there again if this man had been sent to delivery again, even after spending thousands at their store.

Had a delivery of stones delivered to wrong address 16 bags to be precise when I rang to prove it was their fault I was told there was nothing they could do about it meaning no refund or delivery from wrong address to my address total disregard for any proof I had luckily the address they sent it to gave a hand to bring bags to my address. unbelievable wickes did not care. im a pensioner and if it wasn't for the honesty of the people they delivered it to would have lost out. Avoid at all costs.

Bathroom
Taylor was brilliant from start to end.
Taylor was approachable and was understanding in what I needed, he very knowledgable and I am very happy with my bathroom design. Will be using him again.

I ordered online. The order has not been delivered, the tracking shows it has not been delivered, and there is no clear way to complain about this or amend it.

It’s really disappointing to leave such a poor review for Wickes, as we started our bathroom project with high hopes.

The installation began in August 2025 and has only recently been completed, but the end result is still far below an acceptable standard, especially considering the amount we paid. While the service initially felt reassuring, things quickly went downhill.

Although remedial work was eventually carried out, the finish remains poor. Even more concerning was the damage caused to our home during the process, including flooding and unsafe electrical conditions while we were waiting for issues to be resolved. This made the situation incredibly stressful and, at times, unsafe.

We raised all concerns throughout and provided clear evidence, including photos and emails, over several months. However, when our case was passed to a new customer service representative, the experience became far worse. We found them dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to work towards a fair resolution.

We were also misled regarding compensation. We were assured that outstanding issues would be resolved. Despite us making it clear the work was incomplete, this never happened. The compensation offered was not enough to cover the damage and poor workmanship, and before any agreement could be reached, our case was simply closed without further action.

When we followed up, we were told we had provided no evidence, which is completely untrue given the extensive documentation we submitted since August.

We’ve now had to escalate the issue to the Ombudsman to try and reach a resolution.

Overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience, and it has completely put us off using Wickes again. We had planned to use them for a kitchen renovation, but that will no longer be happening. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing Wickes.

Gemma Lammimam went above and beyond when helping us to design our new kitchen. She listened to all of the things we wanted within our design and made sure that we were able to achieve everything we wanted. The final design is amazing and so affordable thanks to the sales at the moment. I can't recommend Wickes enough if you are looking for a new kitchen!

I had an appointment with Gemma Lammiman to design my kitchen.
I was very impressed with how she listened to my requirements and came up with a great design within my budget.
She was very knowledgeable about the technical side of the design.

I had a delivery of three garden panels 6ft x 6ft each. 3 bags podtcrete 25klg each. 3 wood panel post and 3 long decking boards. I am a 75 year old women on my own ,I asked the driver to put in it in my hallway 20 yards from his van. His answer was NO! no apology and blank expression.

Very clear. very persice. Had a few laughs. 10/10 guy. Deffo the guy to go to!! He's amazing at what he does
