Wickes - Bridgend Omdömen 

I had my kitchen planned with the amazing Jayde who works in the Bridgend wickes, never done somthing like this before so she went through it all with me and what would work best and designed me a kitchen way above what I had in my mind it’s amazing and I have so many compliments on it I can’t wait for her to plan my bathroom if your in Bridgend one definitely ask for Jayde she was the best! 10/10

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jade at Wickes. She designed both our kitchen and bathroom and we are so happy with how everything has turned out.

From the very beginning, Jade took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, listened to our ideas and offered really helpful advice throughout. She was incredibly knowledgeable, thought of all the little details and made sure we understood our options before making any decisions. We never felt pressured into choosing anything and always felt that she had our best interests at heart.

What we thought would be a really stressful renovation was made so much easier thanks to Jade. She completely put our minds at ease and gave us confidence in the decisions we were making. Her communication, patience and attention to detail were brilliant throughout.

The finished kitchen and bathroom are everything we hoped for and more. We genuinely couldn’t be happier with the designs or the experience we had.

Absolutely shocking sales technique and kitchen design by Jayde. This was our first experience buying a kitchen and naively listened to the kitchen designer Jaydes recommendations. She said wickes doors only fit the units which we knew not to be true and tried to convince me to get a worktop profile I wasn’t keen on as the one I wanted (that wickes doesn’t do) is hard to clean.

Furthermore, the actual kitchen design, the cooker hood cupboard provided does not fit the extractor fan and the plinths are 2.6m not the 2.8 needed. On closer inspection you can even see the gap on the 3D design model. Absotlely shocking would never recommend wickes to anyone and really regret our decision.

Came to Wickes to buy a door got served by kirstie. Got home made a stupid mistake buying the wrong door size. To top it off I went ahead and cut the hight...realised it was the wrong size(my mistake) so had to buy another. Kirsty being helpful made it less stressful for me and I left happy. She deserves credit for being positive. Thanks for the help much appreciated

Absolutely shocking kitchen design by Jayde. She didnt think to mention that the compact worktop and deep gas hob with a cutlery tray built into the drawer would not be compatible together. The splashback was also a safety hazard. Ian the manager was great to a point and we ended up with a refund for the worktops. Had to buy new from elsewhere and wait 2 weeks for him to finally decide he would cover the builders bills to rip out and replace it all. No apologies from Jayde. Let's hope she gets the training required so she knows what is safe and what isnt for customers houses.

Was into buy flooring and was helped by a lovely young lad called Conor, he helped me to load all the flooring onto a trolley. A very polite lad made my visit easy thank you Conor.

I went to buy a circular saw, the one I wanted didn't have a battery available. Kirstie was very helpful and had loads of patience with me.She found me a very similar saw with the bonus of a free battery and charger worth £35. Thank you Wickes and Kirstie I'm one happy customer 😊

Following my protracted battle with customer service, this review is directed particularly towards Jayde and Ian of the Bridgend store. They are absolute stars 🌟. In desperation I reached out to them and they both worked hard to resolve my issue. I’m a very happy customer now. Such wonderful staff. Thank you.

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Bought several items of hardware for our club and found everything we needed. Busy staff (counter, floor and management) took the time to make sure I got exactly what needed and left extremely happy.

My parents have ordered a new kitchen. Joey at Bridgend store was amazing. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and creative throughout the whole process. He provided a great service. Would highly recommend.

Using the 'Wickes Community Programme' I requested some resources for our school projects. Ian and the team were very generous and were happy to donate everything we needed.
Primary age outside play items were made and painted with the black and yellow paint given.
Stomp rockets, to be used in our DT and Science departments were made from the duct tape and corrugated pipe.
With such small budgets for school resource's, 'Wickes Community Programme' has been a lifeline to us. Diolch Ian

What great customer service I received from Kirstie today at the Bridgend store.
Really was super helpful.

We buy supplies from the store on a regular basis and the staff are great.
Meghan regularly serves us at the checkout and is always polite and goes above and beyond to help.

I have recently had a kitchen from Wickes. I have no problem with the kitchen itself, the quality and aesthetic is lovely. Customer aftercare however has been a nightmare. I have doors, end pieces and a splashback which is unopened. I have tried in several exchanges via email to address this, only to be told it has been forwarded to another department and have not had any response now for a full month. It would not trouble me but i didn't do any ordering as my bespoke kitchen was designed and ordered via a design consultant - who also has not responded to my email asking for assistance.

I was served by Kirsten who was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She was very welcoming and very pleasant. She helped choose specific products for a diy project I am doing. Very helpful and very polite. Thank you Kirsten for all your help.

I recently visited Wicks at Brigend, and was very pleased with Laura's attention.
She took the time to advise on stock availability. Laura was very helpful, had a very pleasant manner to all my questions. I would recommend Wicks for your home improvement plans.
