Wickes - Basingstoke Omdömen 

Wickes donated paint to help our project at school and have given 10 litres of kitchen paint. This will make a massive difference and we cannot be more greatful! Thank you again!

Great customer service from Maria G in the Basingstoke store today, we were looking at paint for our hallway that could withstand a great Dane and childrens finger prints. She was extremely helpful and informative.

Excellent service

Got everything I needed at a good price. Sam D at the checkout was really pleasent and helpful too. Spot on.

After placing a click and collect order this morning. All items showed as in stock with good quantity ( I don’t receive emails at work). I proceeded to Wickes BASINGSTOKE at the end of the day to discover that my whole order had been cancelled. After a quick look around all the items I needed were all in stock.
After speaking to John and explained he quickly sorted everything out and I was able to leave with my goods.
John by the way is retired and I believe works at the Basingstoke branch four days a week, he is a credit to the Basingstoke branch and should be commended for his work.
I wish there were more people like John in the world, well done.

I recently visited the store and required help from a staff member and Billal couldn't have been more helpful. He was polite, friendly and accommodating. I asked where the items would be in the store and he was happy to take me there. I also asked for recommendations and what he suggested for my project and he showed a genuine interest and was very useful and informative.

I've stopped going in here. Last visit was at weekend and I've just had enough of their atrocious customer service. I've never met such a useless, arrogant and rude team of staff. Every staff member is the same it's like they appoint the worst people possible they can. They don't deserve to be in business.

I went to Basingstoke Wickes. The person on the till could have been more helpful and I felt a bit disappointed with the service. I asked for a receipt, he could have said ok and give it when it’s ready but told me something like it’s processing in a manner that I was rushing him to get the receipt. Also I changed my mind and did not brought one item. I returned back in few minutes time and went to shelf to look for the item. It was not there as it was the last one I took to the till. I went to him and asked if the item is there as it was not on the shelf. He told me to get another person for help as he can not leave the till, which I agree. i looked for another person and found the item on the trolley. It was next to the till where return items were kept. He could have told me to check there. I bought the item and took the receipt but he did not acknowledge me at all. The staff on the floor did helped me to get other stuff but the customer service could have made a real difference.

Our Wickes bathroom experience was very positive from start to finish. Our design meetings with Sarah Baxter were completed in a relaxed manner without feeling pressure to make decisions striaght away. Sarah was able to offer great insight and knowledge of a range of different products available. The installation process was great and the installer Kevin Horsfield worked hard across the bathroom installation to complete the work to a very high standard. We are very happy with the bathroom we have had installed and would happily recommend Wickes to others.

Complaint – Basingstoke Store

I visited the Basingstoke store on Sunday 16th August to buy some furniture panels. Unfortunately, they didn’t have what I was looking for, but while I was there, I decided to pick up some 4-gang extension leads.

When I approached the tills, I noticed there was a twin pack available, but it had no price displayed. I asked the man at the till for a price check, and it turned out to be cheaper than the ones I had picked up from the aisle, so I said I would take the twin pack instead.

I placed the other items to the left of the till. I was halfway through explaining that I would leave them there and put them back once I had paid, but before I could finish speaking, the member of staff told me not to leave them there. He then removed the items from the counter, walked away from the till and called me a “moron.”

When he returned, I said nothing to him and simply completed my purchase. After paying, he asked if I wanted a receipt, and I said yes. He then held the receipt just out of my reach, making me reach over the counter to take it from his hand.

I do not expect to be verbally insulted or subjected to passive-aggressive behaviour when I am simply shopping!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kitchen Installation Review

We recently had a new kitchen supplied and installed by Wickes, and we are absolutely delighted with the finished result.

From the very beginning, our designer, Sarah Baxter, was incredibly helpful and professional. Following her initial visit to our home for the design survey, she listened carefully to our requirements, answered all of our questions, and provided valuable advice throughout the process. We were kept fully informed regarding delivery schedules and installation dates, which made the whole experience stress-free.

The installation team, Simon and Terry, were outstanding. They were friendly, hardworking, and extremely accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, whether it was making minor alterations or taking the time to explain aspects of the installation. They worked exceptionally well together as a team, supporting each other throughout the project and demonstrating a high level of skill and professionalism.

We would also like to mention Paul, the electrical fitter and gas engineer, who was equally helpful. He clearly explained what work was required to ensure the electrical installation remained safe and compliant, giving us complete confidence in the work being carried out.

Overall, my wife and I are extremely happy with our new kitchen. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the entire team provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. We would not hesitate to recommend Wickes, and in particular Sarah, Simon, Terry, and Paul, for their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to delivering a first-class result.

Thank you to everyone involved for creating a kitchen we can truly enjoy for years to come.
