Recently had my new kitchen designed and installed by Wickes. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Katrina was in charge of design and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was installed by Derek who was a true professional and nothing was too much trouble. The finished result was amazing and exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend.

Macheala Slatter is an absolute superstar.
From first meeting her through to helping us deal with some challenges throughout our installation, despite it not being Wickes contractors - Macheala has been communicative, beyond helpful and always kept to her word.
This was our first experience buying a kitchen, we knew nothing! I can say for sure that the next time I am in such need, Macheala will be my first point of call.

From out tentative initial ideas to a completed design Chloe was supportive and listened to our requirements giving us excellent advice on layout , bathroom fittings , and tiles. I had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Aylesbury branch today (Sunday 7th June, around 12:00 noon). I went in to return a bag of sand within the return window. I had lost the physical paper receipt but provided a clear photograph of it, which I always take for my records. The store manager, Dave, flat-out refused the return.
When I suggested he verify the purchase against my card transaction, he was entirely dismissive. I politely asked to see the store policy stating that photo receipts are unacceptable, and he became defensive and failed to produce any such policy. To make matters worse, his attitude was completely unprofessional. When I asked for his full name to log a formal complaint, he rudely replied, "Dave, and when I asked his surname - he said you don't need a surname."
A manager should know how to verify a transaction and, more importantly, how to treat customers with basic respect. It is my right to return a product with valid proof of purchase. I have raised a formal complaint with customer services and expect the Regional Manager to investigate this poor standard of leadership.

I chose Wickes for my new kitchen because of my experience with in- store designer Chloe. She listened very carefully to my requirements and guided me through the design process, paying close attention to details. It was very helpful to see all the elements together in one place and to take home samples to view in situ. The installer was excellent and the whole experience went smoothly and to schedule.

We took our time to find the right place for our new kitchen, and Macheala was head and shoulders above anyone else we dealt with. Her attention to detail and giving us the kitchen we were looking for was the sole reason we chose Wickes.
This level of service then continued on the install, and Dean who was our kitchen fitter was fantastic, again the attention to detail could not be faulted.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

I visited the store to start my new kitchen project and Macheala was my contact in the store. Macheale has been amazing from the start of the project to the end. She really helped to design a kitchen that would work for the space I had, she replied to any queries or questions promptly, even on her day off. I would definitely recommend Macheala to anyone wanting a new bathroom or kitchen

We visited Wickes Aylesbury in January for a kitchen design, everything was fine and we ordered the kitchen and a fitter was allocated to us who came and measured up and advised us of his timescale, we were looking at installation early April.
In Feb we were contacted by the worktop supplier to arrange delivery of the worktops, we wanted the kitchen delivered all together, phoned Wickes Customer Service who advised they would liaise with the worktop supplier to ensure the kitchen was delivered all together a few days before installation was due to start. However, the worktops were then delivered at the end of Feb, we spoke with Wickes to express our annoyance however as it was only a month until the kitchen was being fitted we made room in our garage to fit the worktops.
A fortnight before our kitchen was due to being installation we had a message from a different fitter to say he had been allocated our kitchen to do but could not complete until May at the earliest. We contacted the original fitter who advised Wickes had cancelled the kitchen out of the system and he had assumed we had cancelled and arranged other work instead. He advised us he would be unable to fit the kitchen until July if it was re-booked with himself.
Daily phone calls with Wickes Customer Service, who kept saying they were going to find a fitter to complete the kitchen on the original date planned. Eventually we got fed up waiting and cancelled the kitchen as it was obvious Wickes could not deliver. Wickes advised they could not refund us the money until the worktops had been collected but said they would liaise with the supplier to organise this.
Wickes then attempted to deliver the complete kitchen which we refused. Daily phone calls with Wickes again, being told the same thing, eventually we got fed up and called the worktops supplier ourselves who advised they had been requested to arrange collection but then Wickes had cancelled the collection. We arranged the collection again ourselves.
Despite cancelling the kitchen with Wickes over a month ago yet another phone call today from them attempting to arrange delivery of the kitchen in June. We still have not received our refund, every time we call the Aylesbury store our kitchen designer Martin points fingers at Wickes Head Office and visa versa. Absolutely livid at the time this has taken and still no resolution or money back, constant evasion tactics from Wickes and the worst customer service I've ever received.
DO NOT USE WICKES. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND STILL NO REFUND.
