Wickes - Ashford Omdömen 

I had a shower room installed 18 months ago and January this year we had a couple of issues. Contacted customer services and it took nearly two months for a reply. Then nothing but an excuse to say "remedial" teams are busy. Contacted the CEO twice and it appears that he has no "clout" . No mention of compensation. And when you speak to an alleged remedial installer who has assessed the work and is waiting payment for outstanding invoices. And says he can't do the work until he gets paid.The question is why
are the " remedial teams" so busy.

We had a bathroom overhaul, which is lovely, but had some problems that need attention,this is over a year ago. You can't get in touch with anyone even the CEO doesn't respond.
Very quick to take your money and then no aftercare
Will never use them again

Kitchen not really what I wanted.
The design consultant didn't share all views of the simulation which resulted in a cupboard being positioned where I didn't want it.
Also, we wanted no gaps between the cooker and worktops and there are uneven gaps on each side.
Disappointing!

Update: the installer came back a couple of times and corrected certain issues. Not 100% satisfied but overall a nice kitchen.

Had a really good experience at Wickes Ashford store.
Had Paul out to help design our bathroom as we needed a walk in shower as my husband was struggling to get in & out of the bath.
We quickly went ahead, everything was delivered promptly & they recommended a plumber for us.
Jim was so helpful, went above and beyond what was asked of him.
He worked very hard and we are extremely pleased with the end result.
We want to update our kitchen next & will definitely go to Wickes.

I visited your Ashford showroom on a couple of occasions for plans for a kitchen, not once did any member of staff approach me, I ended up finding someone asking how to go about getting plans done, to be told, speak with a designer, I asked who I should speak to and was told Charlotte, then I was told she wasn't in the showroom and go online to book. Which I did. I received an email saying my designer would call me ahead of our appointment. that was a call I never received. When I turned up for my appointment I was told it was a "demo appointment" to basically look around the showroom and I would need to book in for a designer appointment with the designer. I already had plans with Wren so knew exactly what I wanted. The lady said she would price it up email it to me by the end of the day. Come the end of the day I received an email saying she didn't have chance to do it, and Charlotte would email it to me the next day which was a Saturday. Again an email I never received. After sending a couple of emails to Charlotte chasing up the price, she got back to me on the Monday, via email. With the price, which was much more expensive than Wrens fully built units, I was not prepared to pay more for a flat packed kitchen where the staff clearly don't care, this is by far the worst "sale" experience I've ever had! How can you work in sales and not pick up the phone to speak with your client. Working in sales myself I know the phone is one of my useful tools. Get it together wickes, showroom wasn't bad looking, but thats where it stops. Staff that don't care, overpriced product, even with their "offers" I Used Wren because they sell a far better product for alot less, which came with all the fittings, fully built, and their designer actually picks up the phone, they didn't waste my time once

absolute shambles our bathroom has been. we used wickes to install purely for convenience and this is the word this whole thing has not been. were now into the 3rd week when it should have been finished after 1 week. no one has the decency to deal with it. our after care sales person billy has been the most unhelpful person. has asked this to be escalated and not one manger of the place can even pick the phone up to speak to us. worse experience we have ever had with a company. advise to steer clear of wickes at all costs.

it would be nice to be able to speak to someone that can actually do something and have the decency to pick the phone up and call back. everytime i have asked for a customer service manager contact details we just get lied to. how about you actually listen to the customer and ask a manager to have the decency to pick the phone up to us.
