What an incredible Saturday! We attended the West End Musical Brunch at Somerset House and it exceeded every expectation. The talent was top notch, it felt like having front-row seats to every hit show in London at once.
The atmosphere was electric, we were a party of two but everyone around us was so friendly that it felt like one big party!
The real winner for my husband was the unlimited Prosecco and margarita's, they certainly weren’t shy with the refills!
The food was first class, all freshly cooked, my burger honestly was delicious!!
If you want a day filled with singing, dancing, and great vibes in a stunning courtyard, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic event at Somerset House! The performers were absolutely amazing and had a brilliant Hen. There were 20 of us of all ages and everyone had a really good time. Was really impressed with the smashed burgers too!

Had a great afternoon at Sway Bar - don't listen to negative reviews please. Staff were attentive, helpful and fun. Bottomless part was one hour but we had plenty of drink, refilled quickly without question. Food was excellent, no choices but burgers were excellent. And chocolate brownie for dessert was just what we all needed. The music show was great, got us all up dancing and singing and the entertainers were fantastic. Great show, great food. We were a group of 10 and we all loved it.

We booked the West End Musical brunch via Design my night for a group of 13 people. On the day our party was split into several tables which was very upsetting as this was for a special occasion. The venue itself was a secret location, and was a venue we will not be returning to. Several health and safety concerns, with the main being that out of 7 toilets only 1 was operational, the rest with no or broken toilet seats or blocked and over flowing. The sink taped up with brown tape and also not useable. The venue also had a strong sewage smell and was dirty throughout. We found dead flies in one of the cocktail jugs given to us, with no apology. There was lack of bar staff, leaving guests to go behind the bar to make/pour drinks and the food was very disappointing (a cold burger in a bun) Would not book again.
We complained to West end musical brunch who confirmed maintenance issues, but refused to offer any compensation.

Do not waste your money. Venue was the Sway bar, very dated, cold no heating, all of the toilets were either broken, no seat, no door lock and no toilet roll. Spotify musical play list on full blast as you enter so not able to chat. We were lucky with Prosecco, as we were given a bottle and there were only 2 of us. The entertainers were 3/5. No immersive experience. The food, well that needs a review of its own. Extremely poor. Very slow service, cold limp unappealing looking burger with a few ok chips. About an hour later a brown square of something they described as cake was served with watery cream, it wasn’t edible. I would not recommend this at all. Only communication is through email so you’re unable to talk to anyone.
The building needs closing down it is not acceptable for any situation.

The performers were excellent as was the atmosphere and had a fun afternoon with friends. However the food was very basic and the venue tired. Toilets dirty and broken. Not worth the full price.

Fantastic visit to West End Musical Show at the Sway Club yesterday 28th Feb 2026.
I booked this for a friend's 60th birthday. Although I was a bit worried about how it would work out (only communication is through occasional emails) it was such fun. Drinks kept flowing for an hour. Burger food great . Entertainment of 2 hours performance really good while music played throughout the 5 hours!

This is a scam, I wish I had taken a photo of the pathetic burger, not sure why they bothered putting a stick through it, it was flat as a pancake, there was a measly amount of cold oven fries.
As for the bottomless brunch for 1 hour, it was not! We had been there 45 minutes before we went and got our cocktail from the bar as the waiters had gone missing. The cocktail was vodka orange (this is not a cocktail in my opinion) and the prosecco was Kirkland (Costco) branded and tasted disgusting.
The entertainment were good, but by the time they came on the afternoon was ruined by the utter shambles that came before it.

If I could give less, I would. What an absolutely shocking experience.
You DO NOT get what you pay for. £80 each got us nothing!! We had to go and chase someone down to find out why we hadn't been given cocktails like the other table only to be told that they had run out of cranberry juice so all they had was vodka and orange. We managed to get 2 bottles of prosecco between SEVEN people in the space of 1hr. We ended up buying our own drinks because it was so slow!! I'm sure they do it on purpose so that you don't get your moneys worth. The burger was revolting and cold. The "dessert" was a slice of chocolate tray bake cake from tescos. The toilets, my god. 1 soap dispenser and the rest were broken. 3 out of 6 cubicles with missing toilet seats. Our friend sliced his finger on broken glass that was embedded in the chair he was sitting on.
The ONLY good thing was the entertainment. They were great and had us up dancing, but by the time they came out (2hrs after we got there) we were all so annoyed with everything that was going on, it took us a while to get going. Such a shame that such talented performers are linked so such a rubbish experience. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

Don't waist your money .
Terrible organisation . Went to one at the Sway bar in November . Queued for 40 min to get in . Got a crap table which was a load of high boxes that you could not sit at as there was no where for your legs to go. The place, cutlery, glasses, were filthy dirty. Very slow to give out the prosecco. Food was awful burger and chips. Never got a pudding. Was told they had forgotten to put what ever it was in the oven. Suppose to be 5 hours of entertainment . We were lucky to have got 3.5.
Compare was rude and abrupt.
All in all a dreadful experience.
To top it off the company has agreed to compensate us however we still have not received the money.

Terrible. Cancelled the event the night before so my day was ruined, and then never gave me my refund. So I’m out 150. Avoid them

ours were the same no table cloths , cold, we got a lunch box literally, 3 shows the cat, man singer and dancer 1 lot that was it, had to fight for the presecco we had fun amoungst ourself but not worth the money just go womwhere else

Atrocious, save your money and go to an actual show. Appalling service, terrible food, dreadful unsuitable venues, not enough staff, rude staff, broken glass on table on arrival, dreadful customer service pre and post and they take forever to deal with any complaints and then fob you off. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

If I could give it zero stars then I would. This was not at all as advertised. We booked after a friend had been to one previously in a beautiful location, good food and lots of acts. What we got was a temporary marquee under a railway bridge by the Thames. It was freezing cold and you had to go out in the rain to a portaloo. There was one hour of Prosecco and an awful cocktail. The food was horrendous. It’s advertised as a five hour event but you get given a cardboard box with a dry bagel with a smear of cream cheese and the thinnest slice of ham, a blueberry muffin and tiny mouthful of brownie. Hardly the brunch as advertised when tickets were purchased. The ‘talent’ was one man singing a handful of songs and a few dancers dancing in between to a backing track of musical songs. Very poor quality indeed.

The show itself was actually pretty good. Everything else was awful. The location was sent 5 days before the show, it was called Sway Bar, near Holborn. The venue was run down, dirty, three of the toilets had broken doors and lights out. We arrived at 12pm, the bottomless drinks didn’t start until 12.30pm, so we ordered two bottles of beer…£17.80!!! The Prosecco was ok, but the jugs of pre mixed cocktails were disgusting. The food came out late and was a bland, cheap burger in a bun with chips that had been fried in old oil. Needless to say we didn’t eat more than a mouthful. The dessert was a tiny biscuit thing wrapped in cling film, which we didn’t even try. The show finished an hour earlier than advertised and there was no ‘after party’. Such a shame that they’ve compromised on quality for profit, as the show was good fun and the entertainers clearly talented. Definitely NOT worth the money!

Extremely Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service

We attended the West End Musical Brunch and were left hugely disappointed. The event was nothing like the marketing suggests. Instead of the lively, immersive venue shown in the promotional videos, we were placed in a freezing temporary building. The advertised two-course brunch turned out to be a cold lunchbox containing a bagel, a dry brownie, an enormous bland muffin, and fruit that tasted off. We had to buy food afterwards despite budgeting for a meal to be included.

Only one immersive character appeared despite multiple being advertised, and the overall experience felt stripped back compared to what was promised. We also overheard many other guests complaining about similar issues.

Customer service on the day was equally poor. When I asked to speak to the organiser, he briefly spoke to me, cut me off, said he had to dash, and never returned to actually hear my concern.

The response to my formal complaint was even more disappointing. The venue insisted the event wasn’t mis-sold, refused a partial refund, and claimed other attendees had given “overwhelmingly positive” feedback - despite the number of complaints we heard firsthand. They also suggested that because we were later seen dancing, our concerns weren’t valid. Their only gesture was a 10% discount on a future booking, which felt dismissive given the issues.

Overall, this event delivered far less than advertised, and the company’s response made the experience even more frustrating. I would not recommend the West End Musical Brunch based on what we received.
