Overall this company gave a great service and we have a fantastic new pair of automated gates. The site visit from Jim the operations director was very helpful, as he was subsequently on the phone. The fitting teams were absolutely great - very polite and efficient, clean and tidy in their work, and realistic with timescales. The after fitting visit ( arranged very quickly from my request) from the service engineer to solve a minor issue was also excellent. My only less positive comment would be the slightly unrealistic timescales suggested by the sales support team and the lack of communication when those changed (I would give 4.5 stars out of 5 if I could). But overall a great product and I would use them again.

I could not be more impressed with the gate maintenance service I received this morning. Adam diagnosed the principal issue within minutes of arriving and had it fixed shortly thereafter. He also found and fixed an installation issue that I was unaware of. Our gate is now performing BETTER than it did on the day it was installed (by a competitor). Throughout the visit, Adam was a pleasure, a real credit to the company.

Next time I need anything done with the gate, Westcountry will get the business. Frankly, in the Plymouth area and on my experience April 2019 to Jan 2021, their service sets the standard for the rest of the market to follow.

Disappointed with after care ! Gates are great when they work ! We have called them out around 10 times to fix the same problem , still they don’t know how to fix it , so now they refuse to come out ! Jaime told us to go find someone else to look at them ! So we are now with electric gates that don’t work !! Poor service !

I sent an email, outlining problems that we were experiencing and requested help and advice. It was answered promptly, sympathetically and with a quiet efficiency., Payment was made easily, with options offered, An engineer's visit was arranged and we were kept updated, with a final considerate follow up to ensure that all was well.
The engineer, was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, giving us useful advice. After adjustments he persisted with various locations for the handset until he had resolved the problem.
We feel that both members of the the team that we dealt with were a credit to their company and we appreciate their prompt attention.

We found Westcountry Gates at the Home Fayre. We received a great service from start to finish. Emails and calls to arrange visits, prices and quotes quickly sent to us. The guys who fitted them were wonderful, did an amazing job and took a lot of pride in their work. Will be recommending to a friend.

Westcountry were great from the very start. Jim gave us very good advice on what our options were and helped us decide on various ancillary issues like pedestrian access buttons. After we placed the order, the communications on when our gates would be installed was good, so we were always clear about what the timescales were.

The installation team led by Antony were great. Very friendly and very helpful with helping us think through the inevitable small issues that arose as the gates were put in. A special mention too for Jamie and Paul and especially for Jade in the office, who was very helpful indeed with all our various questions.

The final result looks great and we are really pleased. This is not a cheap exercise, but it was the quality of Westcountry’s product that attracted us to them and we are very pleased that we chose them.

Excellent service, from admin staff to engineers, all work really hard to please the customers. Very good black aluminium gates. Would warmly recommend this company.

Once the delay caused by the Coronavirus outbreak was over the service provided was prompt and efficient. We are very pleased with the look and function of the gates.

From fitting our new gate operating system to coming to deal with problems arising from the fitting which were not the fault of this company, the WestCountry Group has delivered friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and responsive service. We would not look anywhere else

We had the front of our house gated by West country, they look absolutely stunning, top quality Company would highly recommend to anyone.

We have just had an electric gate fitted by the West County Group. A relatively small job for them but carried out quickly with minimum disruption. The engineers who did the work on site were flexible allowing a small change to be made without any drama. They were polite and professional. We are very happy with the service and the finished work.

I recently ordered some iroko driveway gates and a side door for my mother in law. Although they took a bit longer than anticipated to be installed the finished result was second to none. The quality of the doors and the very high standard of installation made them well worth waiting for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company which is why I wanted to write a review and let people know.

Only 4 stars, purely due to the unrealistic estimate of time from order/50% deposit to actual delivery and installation.
However, in terms of the gates, posts and fittings - absolute quality! And likewise, a quality installation from the 2 teams that unseasonably torrential rain and strong winds necessitated.
Very pleased with my installation - not cheap, but definitely excellent value. Highly recommended!

We have just had a wonderful new pair of electric solid oak gates installed by the team at Westcountry and could not be happier. The quality of the gates and the expertise of everyone involved is excellent and we could not rate our experience any higher.

A slightly wobbly start as there was a delay in receiving information from Westcountry that we'd requested however in terms of the quality of what has been installed I cant fault them. The works completed were great and the fitters were professional and courteous.

We met for a site survey where we were able to discuss all the types of automatic gates and installation options. The gates we went for had to be specially made for us with oversize letter box built in. When they arrived the guys did a really good job with all aspects of the installation work. They look and work really great. We would highly recommend Westcountry Group and would be very happy to use them again.

Excellent, professional and friendly service. The gates look very handsome and have been much commented upon. I was kept well informed throughout order and installation. Highly recommend.
