Excellent service
Excellent service, we sold some lego to them. The only thing I will say is that it took longer than I thought to receive the money, it says they pay you the next day, but I don't think that includes the time it takes for them to actually get your items? I still gave them 4 stars though as it's a great way to sell some old stuff.

We have looked into this for you and can see that the offer was dropped off at a ParcelShop on 14/11/2021 and the courier collected the box on 16/11/2021. We typically allow upto 5 working days for offers to be delivered to us, however, we have still not received this offer. Due to the length of time since you sent your offer, we placed your offer into the payment process to be paid in full for your items by the end of the same day.

Avoid like the plague
I sent of my XBOX One and games, only to receive a dispute on the offer, advising that the console was damaged and WeBuyGames would be recycling the XBOX. Upon contacting WeBuyGames, they provided photos of the damage to show a smashed up console (don't believe it was even mine). Their policy is; unless the box shows damage they will not take this up with their delivery company. They offered to return the damaged console at a charge of £5!!!
My advise is, go to a trusted buyer, they may offer less, but at least they won't scam you like WeBuyGames do.

We aim to provide the best possible experience for all of our customers; therefore we are very sorry to hear about your recent experience using WeBuyGames. We have looked into this offer for you and can see that the console was damaged when it arrived with us and photos were provided as requested. All consoles and accessories are checked by our specialist team and any damage to the box(es) is reported to Customer Services to launch a claim with the courier. However, there was no sign of any damage to the box upon arrival to suggest the console was damaged in transit. We can also see that other items in the offer were included in the same box and these arrived in good condition; payment was processed in full for these items. As we sell the items on, we have a duty to buying customers to ensure our stock is in good condition; when this is not the case, we cannot buy the items.
We give all customers the option to recycle any disputed items for free or have them returned, however, we cannot cover the return postage for this as we cover the initial cost to get the items to us on the understanding these items will meet our guidelines.

Looking to sell Bulk LEGO? Don't.
I measured the LEGO I was sending to We Buy Games twice using two different methods of weighing, and both methods came out to 13kg. I added some extra LEGO to the bag as I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be told I was under and I received an e-mail two weeks later saying I was 2.8kg under, so they'd have to deduct £14.00 from my total. I had no choice but to accept these terms as they would most likely send me back 10.2kg and keep the 2.8kg they obviously stole. I can see from other reviews that this is their tactic to make extra money, by simply scamming people. Do not use We Buy Games.

Our main priority is to provide a positive selling experience for all our customers; therefore we apologise that this has not been the case for you. We have looked into this trade further and can see that 13 KG was expected but only 10.2 KG was received. Therefore the price of the missing 2.8 KG was deducted from the offer. All offers are checked by our thorough Quality Control Team before they are opened to ensure no damage has occurred in transit. Your trade arrived in a sealed box with no signs of damage to suggest some of the LEGO could have been mislaid in transit. Therefore, we could not investigate this further with the courier.
It is not a tactic we employ to make extra money, nor is it a scam. We are honest with our customers and pay for the items we receive in good condition. We cannot pay for any items that we don’t receive.

Selling lego
I sent 2 parcels of lego - the first was accepted and paid for without question. The second was disputed - the amount by weight that I sent, I think the may do this to make more money as I was very careful to make sure each bag was slightly over weight.
Once they have your lego there is no real recourse. i would not use them again for selling lego.

We’re glad to hear that your first trade was completed swiftly without any issues. However, we are sorry to learn of the disappointment encountered during your second trade with us. All offers are checked by our experienced Quality Control Team and, in the case of LEGO, the pieces are weighed to ensure the amount received matches the quantity expected. All boxes are checked before they are opened to ensure no damage has occurred in transit – if this had been the case, a claim would have been launched with the courier and the offer would have been paid in full. However, the box arrived sealed and undamaged containing just short of 10KG out of the 12KG expected. Therefore the price of the missing 2KG was deducted from the offer.

Third time of selling to Webuygames and…
Third time of selling to Webuygames and for the first time had a problem. Not with them but with the parcel carrier. Collected no problem then the parcel went walkabout. According to Hermes I had to wait 14 days before I could report the problem to Webuygames. After 16 days contacted WBG expecting there to be all sorts of questions and holdups but instead I had a reply within a few hours, apologising and saying that they still had not received the parcel but would be puttting the payment through anyway. Good customer service when things do go wrong is very important and they certainly had that in this case.
